A bed was custom-made at child height to create a child-oriented space facilitating one-on-one play. A series of soft climbing shelves anchored to the wall give the bed a dual function as a soft landing during exercise and play.

This custom shelving system provides organized and accessible storage for various toys used in play-based therapies, offering visual choice for a child with autism.

Florida’s sunshine and vibrancy make it the perfect stage for “dopamine design.” With bold yellows, energetic blues, and playful coral tones, every corner radiates joy and positivity. From colorful furniture in the living room to creative chandeliers in the dining area and artistic touches in the bedroom, the design turns everyday living into a celebration. Here, design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about embracing happiness.

The shape and placement of rugs throughout the space subtract parts of the wood flooring to help emphasize landing areas for therapy and play. This rug placement also creates a path of exposed flooring, which reveals a recreational running loop through the playroom, kitchen, and library.

This foam pit playroom was made for a family with three active kids who homeschool—so it was important to create a space where they could burn off energy and build strength, rain or shine! The room features a large 5' x 8' foam pit, an awesome monkey bar and ninja course, and a cargo net tunnel that leads to a closet converted into a cool cargo net-floored fort. Plus, there’s an indoor basketball hoop and swings galore—endless fun! To top it off, we added a map mural that adds a sense of adventure and wonder to the space. It’s the perfect playroom for learning, growing, and playing, all in one place.

Modular, green climbing structures made from durable, commercial-grade textiles are incorporated into this play space. These soft forms offer opportunities for physical movement, enabling the child to climb and exercise their muscles. Additionally, the child can rearrange the structures into various configurations during play, stimulating their imagination.

A custom rug crafted from wool and bamboo silk and a large, low-hanging cloud-like paper pendant light create an inviting, child-oriented space. This environment naturally facilitates one-on-one floortime therapy and play, making it easy for adults to join children in activities on the floor.
