Expanded the size and function of the kitchen without adding additional sq footage. We removed a load bearing wall between the kitchen and family room and added a huge marble topped island. By reducing the size of the french doors from 8ft to 4 ft, we were able to add a wall of cabinets, 48" pro-style gas range, and tons of storage.
