This kitchen has left me still smiling with how it came together. The color palette that started with our choice of tile ended up being our common thread and it could not have turned out better. Updating the kitchen with gorgeous cabinets, stunning backsplash, modern lighting, rose gold details and the perfect configuration has my social media blowing up! This is definitely one of my favorite kitchens, I hope they enjoy it for many years to come.

Honorable Mention - "My kids are doing online schooling and requested better desks. My son Michael, depicted in the photo below, came up with the idea of attaching to the wall via cables. Like a true designer, he left the remainder of the work to his dad, the hobbyist woodworker. (A hobby with social distancing built in.) A friend suggested your product. The walnut desk was my first one, the second, ash desk was for my son, my present for his fifteenth birthday on 12/1.
I used QuickConnect Jaw Swivel Turnbuckles and Threaded Terminal. My son helped me install both and we were both impressed with the quality of the products. We also used 1/8" feeney cable. Both my daughter and son are happy, the latter is now actually doing his homework."

LiLu transformed a St. Anthony Park neighborhood church into this sanctuary for treatment. The interior offers a balance of old and new: referencing the historic setting while creating a contemporary environment that appeals to a youthful spirit. LiLu’s design also meets the residents’ medical needs, offering space for social interaction and self-reflection to enhance both physical and emotional healing.

Project designed by Minneapolis interior design studio LiLu Interiors. They serve the Minneapolis-St. Paul area including Wayzata, Edina, and Rochester, and they travel to the far-flung destinations that their upscale clientele own second homes in.

Looking for a nice clean crown molding, but what something different? These homeowners did just that with a simple clean flat molding applied to the wall and ceiling to create this look.

Coldwater Canyon Residence by Mark Tessier of Mark Tessier Landscape Architecture
The expansive views from this mountaintop property are a defining feature of this residence. With a passion for modern architecture and art, the clients wanted their garden to reflect their aesthetic and honor the California lifestyle. To meet their needs, the firm crafted a series of family-friendly outdoor rooms for living and entertaining.
To highlight the architecture, concrete provides a unifying thread to join spaces together and define structure—sometimes solid, in other places becoming eroded walls and gravel walkways. At the entry to this serene garden, a sculptural concrete bridge arches over a Koi pond and water feature. Quiet, meditative pathways lead to gathering spaces shaded by willow trees and guide guests by the pool to floating wood platforms with lounge seating. On a carpet of Ipe wood, open-air dining and entertaining at a custom designed laser-cut tile table is enjoyed under retractable steel shade structures.
In the rear garden, the designer provided a place for the clients to socialize by an outdoor fireplace, swim in the pool, relax on floating platforms, and take in the views. Native plants are interspersed with the client’s favored planting palette, a diverse selection of succulents and exotic species. Photos by David Laurdison

Yolseuiloyan: Nahuatl word that means "the place where the heart rests and strengthens." The project is a sustainable eco-tourism complex of 43 cabins, located in the Sierra Norte de Puebla, Surrounded by a misty forest ecosystem, in an area adjacent to Cuetzalan del Progreso’s downtown, a magical place with indigenous roots.
The cabins integrate bio-constructive local elements in order to favor the local economy, and at the same time to reduce the negative environmental impact of new construction; for this purpose, the chosen materials were bamboo panels and structure, adobe walls made from local soil, and limestone extracted from the site. The selection of materials are also suitable for the humid climate of Cuetzalan, and help to maintain a mild temperature in the interior, thanks to the material properties and the implementation of bioclimatic design strategies.
For the architectural design, a traditional house typology, with a contemporary feel was chosen to integrate with the local natural context, and at the same time to promote a unique warm natural atmosphere in connection with its surroundings, with the aim to transport the user into a calm relaxed atmosphere, full of local tradition that respects the community and the environment.
The interior design process integrated accessories made by local artisans who incorporate the use of textiles and ceramics, bamboo and wooden furniture, and local clay, thus expressing a part of their culture through the use of local materials.
