We had a lot of fun putting the design together for this homeowner – the original thought was to replace the old chopped up, sectioned off deck with something similar. After getting to know the client’s needs & wants, and with lots of yard to work with - we were able to put together and build a very different project, the project you see here. The porch area is the prominent feature, and rightfully so - it is huge! With plenty of room for hosting, relaxing, and then some. To assist in convenience, we built a walkway from the driveway, and access around the side of the home. Though we can’t directly claim the landscaping and patio work as our own – it was in mind when everything was laid out, and we’re thrilled to see it completed!

Master Bathroom Remodeling Project – Fort Washington, PA
BMR Belmax Remodeling recently completed a stunning master bathroom transformation in a single-family home in Fort Washington, PA. The original bathroom, which had remained unchanged for over 30 years, featured an outdated layout with a traditional bathtub that no longer met the homeowners’ needs. Our team executed a complete remodel, introducing modern design elements, upgraded functionality, and a fresh aesthetic that exceeded the client’s expectations.
The Vision
The goal of the project was to create a modern and functional master bathroom tailored to the homeowner’s preferences. The existing bathtub was removed to accommodate a sleek, walk-in shower, and the overall design was updated with contemporary features and materials to transform the space into a luxurious retreat.
Key Updates and Features
1. Walk-In Shower Installation
The centerpiece of this remodel is the new walk-in shower. Featuring elegant marble-look tiles with subtle gray veins, the shower exudes a timeless and luxurious feel. We installed high-quality sliding glass shower doors that provide both a seamless look and easy access. The shower also includes updated fixtures for a modern and polished finish.
2. New Double Vanity
A spacious double vanity replaced the outdated single-sink unit. This new vanity provides ample storage and workspace while complementing the bathroom’s refreshed design. Finished with a smooth, high-gloss surface and paired with stylish hardware, it enhances both the functionality and the aesthetic of the room.
3. Upgraded Flooring and Fixtures
The floor was redone with durable, modern tiles that coordinate beautifully with the marble-look shower tiles. We also installed a new toilet, an efficient exhaust fan, and updated lighting fixtures to enhance both comfort and ventilation. A lighted mirror was added to bring a touch of modern convenience while brightening the space.
4. Elegant Color Palette
To complete the transformation, the bathroom was painted in a soft gray shade. This color harmonizes perfectly with the gray veining in the shower tiles, creating a cohesive and serene atmosphere.
Customer Feedback
The homeowners were thrilled with the results, describing their new master bathroom as “breathtaking” and “functional.” The successful execution of this project led them to immediately book two additional projects with BMR Belmax Remodeling, including a powder room renovation and hallway updates with door installations.

Specific needs, such as an edible garden and outdoor storage for tools and refuse, require creativity when you're on a city sized lot. This client is thrilled with the result.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Murals in a bedroom by Tom Taylor of Mural Art LLC.
The theme for the room was to create the bridge of a star destroyer from Star Wars.
Being a huge Star Wars fan myself, I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to create this room.
Star Wars themed rooms have been very popular, especially with the new series of movies that Disney has produced. Star Wars art is perfect for any themed room, media room, home theater, office or your children's bedroom.
Items featured throughout the room to complete the look: Exploding Death Star Chandelier, bunk bed, Star Wars comforter set, throw pillows, drapes, room darkening shades, table lamps, Star Wars toys and hand painted kids furniture.

James Latta Photography -
As an interior designer, I liked my home but was not "in love" with it. I didn't feel in sync with the style and architecture despite compliments from friends and family. It was time for a change. I sold my Floating Home (see Sleepless in Portland: Houseboat Diary) and my La Quinta home (see Transitional Living, La Quinta) and downsized to a house that's a better fit.
The home was lacking sufficient storage so I added a beverage center with storage cabinets and a butcher block countertop to the dining room. An Ikea table frame was powder coated in dark grey and fitted with a Cambria Quartz dining top. A matching quartz piece was added to create a kitchen bar seating area and includes a beautiful waterfall edge. Reclaimed wood square tiles were added to the kitchen pop up ceiling and the living room fireplace to add warmth and texture. Black and white photography of the local desert landscape frame the fireplace. Although the home is mainly grey, black and white, pops of red are a recurring theme thought the interior and exterior, including a red barn door at the kitchen pantry.
I broke design rules and didnt take the "safe" route. Quirky accent items can be found throughout the home. These include a wall-mounted family accordion, framed movie quotes in one of the guest rooms, a custom canvas photo of my miniature schnauzer, and dragon print accent pillows throughout. A Tongue and Groove (T&G) wood ceiling transformed the master bedroom and a beautiful red area rug adds color and warmth. The result is DARING and yet comfortable.
The backyard was completely renovated. Tons of white rock were removed and beautiful landscaping and lighting were added as well as an additional 500 square feet of pavers. A sun shade, red umbrellas, and patio misters create inviting seating areas for friends and family. Tongue and Groove wood was also added to the outdoor patio ceilings. A high end surround sound system and built in BBQ with patterned cement tiles complete this outdoor living space.
The process was exhausting and time consuming but now that it is over, I am thrilled with the results.
I now live in a home that nourishes my soul and better represents my style and tastes.

Luxurious is the best way to describe this stunning Vienna master bathroom remodel. From the gorgeous standalone soaking tub, to the beautifully tiled shower (with rainfall showerhead!), to the contrasting quartz countertops atop the dark brown vanity cabinets, it checks all the boxes as a space that anyone would be thrilled to have in their home and at their disposal.

A Luxury Condo Overhaul: The Perfect Transformation with Our Team of Experts
Are you looking for an exciting new project to enhance the beauty and coziness of your luxury condo? At the heart of our remodeling process is to help transform your condo into the perfect destination that you’ve always envisioned. Our recent project was a complete foundation-to-roof transformation of a 4,000 sq ft, 4 bed, 4 bath luxury condo, and we are excited to share the details with you. From the porcelain tiles to the quartzite cabinets, this remodel adds an unparalleled level of luxury and class to the home.
One of the most significant parts of the transformation was the installation of new porcelain tiles throughout the space. The refreshed floors provided a new, fresh look and complemented the overall aesthetic of the home. As part of the renovation, we also removed walls between various rooms, including family rooms, kitchens, and the grand salon. This opened up the space and created a warm, inviting atmosphere that connects all the spaces in the house.
The kitchen was one of the main focal points of the renovation, with new appliances, quartzite cabinets, and countertops, and mosaic tile backsplash. These additions helped bring out the home's personality, and the outcome was a kitchen that not only serves its primary purpose but also adds a sense of refined elegance to the entire space. The custom cabinets and the quartzite island added more storage and a seating area, allowing the homeowner to conveniently entertain guests in style.
Another notable transformation was done in the primary bathroom, which now features new cabinets, mirrors, wall tile, and quartz countertops. The renovations to the bath space are in line with the overall transformation of the home, adding elegance and class to the most private area of the home.
But the highlight of the project was the family room, which was brought to life with a new state-of-the-art, stone infinity calcutta porcelain slab fireplace. This focal point adds a touch of luxury and sophistication, making it the perfect place to kick back and relax.
Lastly, we transformed the bar with new cabinets, quartzite countertops, and glass. The bar now beautifully sits in the center of the space, creating a perfect gathering point for entertaining guests and hosting events.
Our team of experts is thrilled with the end product of this full condo renovation. From new porcelain tiles to renovated bath spaces, the complete space now exudes luxury, class, and warmth. Are you looking to transform your luxury condo today? Trust our team of experts to bring that transformation to life. A lower level bar and entertaining area was added, by repurposing the old kitchen cabinets, adding some 100 year old barn wood, installing a custom poured epoxy counterop and decorative accents, the entertaining area was the favorite room in the new renovation - adding a ton of living/entertaining space to this home!
A bold orange was chosen for the wall color, and the walls were left textured. A new drop ceiling was installed, and Super Hero artwork makes a bold statement in the space.
{Featured Story} Spring, 2015 – This condo was purchased from the estate of the new owner’s parents and refurbished with trendy new touches. There were no close comparables in the Farmington neighborhood with within walking distance to the urban downtown area, so the approach for selling was to create an entirely new set of comparables when the new owner was found. On the market for just days, the renovation, marketing and finishing touches made this a highly sought after, and quick to sell property at top dollar, establishing a new trend in the neighborhood.
{Our Process for this Featured Property}: Assessed the initial investment condo, offered suggestions for rehab and renovation. Assisted with Color Theory through color selection and process (no beige in this condo!). Helped select floor and counter materials, tile selection and features in the kitchen and bath. Final staging of the property was done with antiques and housewares, and created a cozy and lived in feel. As a final touch, a party was thrown when the property was completed to invite in friends and family, as well as an open house with freshly baking chocolate chip cookies to make the prospective buyers feel right at home!
{Outcome} This property sold in days as a cash sale, at a higher price than anything in the neighborhood – and closed quickly. Both the seller and buyer were thrilled with this transaction!

This garden follows the architecture of the house which was completely redesigned to reflect the owner's love of Mission style architecture. Palms of various sizes are massed to provide the structure which they lack on their own. Sizeable ferns throughout the garden provide and underlying texture and dynamism. Annuals in hot colours, bananas and coleus provide seasonal thrill. The highly textured foliage of Albizzias add an exotic note and will, over time, increase the play of light and shadow in the garden.
The biggest challenge was creating a relationship between the house, which sits high on the lot, and the garden. A strong sense of indoor outdoor connection was achieved from both the basement and main level of the house by creating landings and enclosed courtyards ensconced by generously filled planters that lead up to the main garden.

The context of this home is set atop a hillside, making for a tricky entry sequence. The driveway meanders up and around the house to the rear of the property. Though this is the back of the property, it is indeed the main entry as well. Given that the other side of the home sits 15' above ground elevation, our client's desire was to design a space off the backside of the home that doesn't inhibit the entry for new visitors, but allows for a seamless outdoor living space off their kitchen/ living room. We achieved this balance by retaining a front walkway to the main entry using large 24" x 36" bluestone slabs in a running band through the new patio space. Visually the clean lines of this walkway lead visitors to the front entrance while also subtly defining the two seating areas of the new patio terrace. The reclaimed granite piers, Saratoga Granite Seating walls, and plantings provide further definition which truly enhance the sense of space! Needless to say, our clients were thrilled with the finished product!

We were thrilled to be working again with these long-time clients in Villanova, PA, to create a two-room wine cellar. This entailed renovating an existing part of their basement and adding an additional room. The best part about this project? The second room is accessed through a secret door! We designed the mechanism that opens the secret door:the door is opened by pressing the cork of a certain wine bottle.
This 8,000-bottle capacity wine cellar features all redwood custom-built shelving, and redwood, glass top display tables. The first room has a redwood paneled ceiling and porcelain tile floors. The second room's ceiling is made from reclaimed wine barrels and the beams are made from cherry wood. The floors are reclaimed brick laid in a two-over-two pattern.

Jennifer Hazen from Reico Kitchen and Bath in Charlottesville, VA, collaborated with Nick Greenwood of Prevail Construction to create a transitional kitchen design featuring Merillat Masterpiece cabinetry.
The kitchen’s perimeter cabinets feature the Montresano door style in a Moonshine finish, while the beverage bar and wall cabinets are in a Lagoon finish. The countertop is MSI Q Calacatta Miraggio Cielo.
The kitchen also features a Whirlpool beverage refrigerator and an 18” full height quartz backsplash in the same color as the countertop for clean, continuous look and feel.
The client, delighted with the project outcome, shared their experience. “Our project involved a complete demolition of four areas—our Kitchen, Bathroom, Pantry, and Laundry Room. These were all combined into one open space Kitchen area. Jennifer has excellent taste and skillfully recommended elements that seamlessly came together to create a functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchen. The level of detail that she put into the plan amazed me and it ensured that all of the contractors knew exactly what to do.”
“We are extremely happy with the outcome of the kitchen. The open space is very functional and makes using our kitchen a joy. Thank you Reico and Jennifer for such a positive experience!”
Jennifer shared insights into the labor of love behind the design, stating, “The most challenging part was concealing a full-size stackable washer/dryer within a run that included a double oven, a 36" refrigerator, and an unmovable wall due to water pipes. We bumped everything out to 36" to create a functional face-frame for laundry, double oven, and a 9" pantry.”
During the planning stage, Jennifer expressed her excitement about the homeowners embracing unique design elements. "I was thrilled as the homeowners selecting design elements such as the full-height splash behind the range and the waterfall leg at the espresso bar bookcase."

Discover the story of these thrilled homeowners who couldn't be happier with their stunning home remodel! Not only did the team deliver exceptional craftsmanship, but they were also always on time, making the entire process stress-free. Watch as they reveal the builder behind the transformation that has friends asking, 'Who did it?' If you're looking for a reliable team to bring your dream home to life, you won’t want to miss this!

The homeowners wanted a simple, clean, modern bathroom. Sounds straightforward enough. But with a tight budget, a funky layout and a requirement not to move any plumbing, it was more of a puzzle than expected. Good thing we like puzzles! We added a wall to separate the bathroom from the master, installed a ‘tub with a view,’ and put in a free-standing vanity and glass shower to provide a sense of openness. The before pictures don’t begin to showcase the craziness that existed at the start, but we’re thrilled with the finish!

Our Green Goods design and build team transformed this once, very outdated bathroom into a spa retreat intended for all ages and needs. The client was very specific about requiring amentities that will allow her to "Age in Place" and yet, retain beauty by bringing the outside indoors. This home is surrounded by a Coast Oak woodland and the branches and cupped green leaves of these gorgeous evergreen trees grace the window panes which surround the sunken, soaking tub. The custom cabinetry was built in-house at Green Goods and special concern was taken to ensure that the height of the lower cabinets suited the needs of a wheelchair, if ever necessary. Doors were widened and the shower was rebuilt as curbless. The placement of the grab bars was meticulously calculated by requesting that the client stand within the shower and then test what was the most ergonomic for her height and reach. The decorative ceramic tile in the shower is handmade by Arto Tile and Stone (Arabesque Pattern B). The glass block was salvaged from the previous bathroom. The Quartz vanity tops are Caesarstone - "Dreamy Marfil" and the tub surround is Cambria Quartz - "Dover". The client is thrilled with the results of this "Aging in Place" remodel - where function and form have beautifully merged.

Huge re-model including taking ceiling from a flat ceiling to a complete transformation. Bamboo custom cabinetry was given a grey stain, mixed with walnut strip on the bar and the island given a different stain. Huge amounts of storage from deep pan corner drawers, roll out trash, coffee station, built in refrigerator, wine and alcohol storage, appliance garage, pantry and appliance storage, the amounts go on and on. Floating shelves with a back that just grabs the eye takes this kitchen to another level. The clients are thrilled with this huge difference from their original space.
