This beautiful home is used regularly by our Calgary clients during the weekends in the resort town of Fernie, B.C. While the floor plan offered ample space to entertain and relax, the finishes needed updating desperately. The original kitchen felt too small for the space which features stunning vaults and timber frame beams. With a complete overhaul, the newly redesigned space now gives justice to the impressive architecture. This beautiful kitchen has countertops fabricated in Cambria Swanbridge Quartz. The cabinets were designed and installed by Jamestown Designer Kitchens. The countertops were fabricated and installed by Counterparts, Inc. The design was by Van Tyson Custom Home Builders. The kitchen photographs were taken by Amy Greene.

There are 8 bedrooms, five utility rooms a large comfortable kitchen, a 3,000 square foot great room with a vast clear span of 40’ that serves as a music studio and an attached 2,000 square foot indoor pool, a lower level sauna and steam room and a 4 storey elevator. A creative triumph of Canadian Timberframes and Blue Sky Architecture produced a compelling structure that owes its strength to the quality of timber frame & design.

Remodel included kitchen, living room, dining area and exterior areas on front and rear of home. A new garage was also constructed at the same time.

A spacious colonial in the heart of the waterfront community of Greenhaven still had its original 1950s kitchen. A renovation without an addition added space by reconfiguring, and the wall between kitchen and family room was removed to create open flow.
