Inspiration for a mid-sized craftsman front porch remodel in New York with decking and a roof extension

From design to construction implementation, this remodeling project will leave you amazed.Need your whole house remodeled? Look no further than this impressive project. An extraordinary blend of contemporary and classic design will leave your friends and family breathless as they step from one room to the other.

The Manhattan Project is located in Houston's Galleria District. It involved gutting the original room, sound proofing the walls, ceiling and floor. We covered the walls with fire treated fabric panels to improve the sound quality and we installed a 135" motorized film screen and a 3D projector. The sound is hidden behind the decorative Speaker Grills and front lower section of the projection screen wall.

This KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treatment) pressure treated deck features a watertight system with T&G ceiling. The low maintenance painted handrail with pvc fascia and wrapped columns will mean there won't be weekends lost due to staining handrail in the future. The lower area features a screened in area leading out to the pool area.

Traditional pressure treated deck with steps down to pool provides space for dining, too. A covered, open porch adds to the outdoor living space — and opportunities to relax or entertain.

We all know how paint can influence the feeling of a space. Did you know that it can also influence the architecture? This project is a lesson in composition as it refers to paint and interior design. The correct balance of vertical and horizontal lines creates a visual path that will direct the eye to a particular point of interest. Without good composition, the resulting chaos interferes with the way a story is told. Through the use of decorative artistry, we were able to take advantage of the strong architecture in this space to define these visual lines. It is all about identifying where to start and where to stop.
