This formal living room was created by punctuating layers of deep blues and airy seafoam greens with bright goldenrod accents. Clean lines were combined with rustic textures to maintain a consistent feel with the rest of the home. The sofa, chairs, bench and shutters were customized for this particular space. New accessories were mixed in with some of the homeowner's most treasured trinkets.

Inspiration for a small eclectic bedroom remodel in Phoenix with white walls

Our designers also included a small column of built-in shelving on the side of the cabinetry in the kitchen, facing the dining room, creating the perfect spot for our clients to display decorative trinkets. This little detail adds visual interest to the coffee station while providing our clients with an area they can customize year-round. The glass-front upper cabinets also act as a customizable display case, as we included LED backlighting on the inside – perfect for coffee cups, wine glasses, or decorative glassware. In the corner of this pastel nursery, we used my client’s existing glider and side table and added in some fun artwork pieces and a velvety soft throw blanket. The room has such beautiful natural lighting, so we opted for these lace detailed curtains (she plans on training the baby to sleep with light in the room). What was once a tool box now hangs on the wall to house various necklaces. Even with such rugged origins, the display has a decidedly feminine appeal. "My girlfriend had come across these old tool boxes at an estate sale. The person that owned them painted the tools that hung on each hook, so it makes for a great story," says Jennifer.
