This whole house remodel included a kitchen & 3 baths for a young growing family. They were going for a transitional style with a coastal twist. The kitchen was designed using Fieldstone Cabinetry with a light-colored perimeter and a darker island for contrast. The owner said "any color but white" for her farmhouse kitchen country kitchen. Earthy and elemental materials are selected for the home that reference the barn without directly mimicking it. Wooden members found inside the barn and from other barns bridge ceilings and are used in floors along with rustic slate adding to a sense of simplicity to the farmhouse design.

This vast and open kitchen showcases the great match of a white shaker cabinets with Raven caeser stone quartz counter and the island made of gray shaker cabinets with white Carrara marble counter. To tie the two of them together we have used 6x3 tumbled white Carrara back-splash tile in a staggered layout with a center mosaic deco area above the Range unit. To give it the additional modern feel you have the stainless steel appliances such as a Sub-zero build-in fridge, the range unit and the large stainless steel pendant lights.
