White built-ins and traditional wallpaper chosen by the architect is counterpoint to rustic elements. Earthy and elemental materials are selected for the home that reference the barn without directly mimicking it. Wooden members found inside the barn and from other barns bridge ceilings and are used in floors along with rustic slate adding to a sense of simplicity to the farmhouse design.

These clients were looking for a contemporary dining space to seat 8. We commissioned a custom made 72" round dining table with an X-base. The chairs are covered in Sunbrella fabric so there is no need to worry about spills. Custom artwork, drapes, lighting, accessories, and wainscoting finished off the space.

The "main room" in the apartment had to serve multiple functions - a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, as well as a place to store items like our client's bicycle. Because space was tight, we used a small bistro table so that our client could sit with one other person (or more by pulling up other chairs) and enjoy a meal. By using a wall mounted bike rack that also incorporated some storage for his helmet + lock, we were able to save some space, and love the way that it highlights our client's graffiti art purchased on the streets of NYC! Quartz was used for the island,counter and stove backsplash as a slab.in calacutta pattern, perimeter is also a quartz in a coordinated darker color. stainless steel hood with textured grayish white cabinetry. breakfast area is used mostly as a sitting area to watch TV and be a part of the kitchen but the cocktail table converts to dining height as well as expands for additional dining table space and seating is then becomes a dining banquette.area.
