The basic concepts such as shaker style cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, typically provide the framework for a sophisticated and beautiful transitional kitchen but the designs, colors, and textures come together in this kitchen so nicely to inspire earth-colored beauty and uplift the homeowners personal style.

Perched on a knoll atop a lakeside peninsula, this transitional home combines English manor-inspired details with more contemporary design elements. The exterior is constructed from Doggett Mountain stone and wavy edge siding topped with a slate roof. The front porch with limestone surround leads to quietly luxurious interiors featuring plaster walls and white oak floors, and highlighted by limestone accents and hand-wrought iron lighting.

Thinking about finishing your basement in Buford, GA? Costs typically range from $15,000 for a basic finished space to $150,000+ for a full in-law suite, with most Gwinnett County homeowners spending $35,000–$65,000 for a mid-range finish with a full bathroom. Key cost drivers include adding a legal bedroom (which requires an egress window), waterproofing if the basement isn't already dry, and flooring and finish selections. A $50,000 mid-range basement finish typically returns 60–70% of cost in home resale value regionally — even more if it adds a bedroom or full bath. Form follows function, even in this small but beautifully appointed bathroom. A hand shower in lieu of a fixed shower head offers flexibility, while valves opposite the shower head allow the water to be turned on and preheated without getting wet. Luxury materials such as Crema Marfil Marble countertops and a basket weave mosaic accent offer subtle sophistication, while rich chocolate accents of Emperador Marble and oil rubbed bronze fixtures provide a lovely contrast to the creamy palette. What started as a typical dated hall bath was propelled from basic to luxurious.

The Clients purchased a 1980's era home (typical Southwestern trac home style) located on amazing desert acreage in Cave Creek, AZ. They wanted to create a "get-away" resort with a modern “Hacienda” twist. The site design (hardscape, planting, lighting) and home’s exterior features (paint color, stucco finish, windows / doors, light fixtures) were re-imagined to create the final product.
