Triplex Doors are important part of the interior. And it is crucial to be attentive while choosing one. Each of us is guided by our own tastes and preferences while selecting a door for the rooms of our apartment (or for our home). You can choose simple wooden door or door with a glass. And if you have decided to buy door with a glass, the best choice is triplex door. Triplex glass is a several layer glass, which is made with the help ofpressing while heating. There are different variations of triplex, for example, there are types of glass, which are soundproof or have electric heating, etc. Triplex is produced with a special technique: in between two glass a specific membrane is placed, after which they are being glued at a certain pressure and temperature. Triplex doors are famous for their strength and long lasting operational term. The protective function of these doors is that they absorb ultraviolet lights, but at the same time let in a normal daylight. They don't require an extraordinary care. All these characteristics make doors with triplex convenient for usage. Doors with triplex glass can be applied in various ways. With the help of diverse designs and saturated colors, they will be perfect for bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom. It is possible to choose not only transparent but also frosted glass. The feature of these doors is that they expand the space and also scatter the light. It is also very important to point out the fact, that due to the manufacturing method and used materials, doors with triplex are ecologically clean.

For a Francophile client who needed an update in her Living Room, only balloon shades would do. This Living room design was a nominee Finalist design in the Soft Shades category at the 2024 Grace Awards, of the International Window Coverings Expo. The project itself was more than just the Balloon shades, including a layered window treatment design, new paint color, and even a new footstool for the room, as well as tweaking furniture placement. In this photo, the tailored balloon shade at the window is able to be lowered completely for privacy at night, if desired. The Hunter Douglas Silhouette in Originale fabric, is the original semi-sheer version of Silhouette, providing daytime privacy and from anyone coming up the sidewalk to the front door, which passes by this window. Silhouettes also reduce glare, softening the light, and filtering ultraviolet rays which damage fabrics and wood. The green paint color was selected to complement the fabric of the shades. The client's collection of Betty Boop figurines adds whimsey to this otherwise formal and elegant space. Design by Linda H. Bassert, Masterworks Window Fashions & Design, LLC. This custom home bowling alley was installed by Fusion Bowling as part of a newly constructed 20,000 square foot residence in Lubbock, Texas. The custom color of the two regulation size lanes is a woodgrain called "Valencia Teak", which appears almost black. The color of the lane markings is "Wheat", and the LED gutter lights are cool blue. The computer scoring system features a wireless keypad, two overhead LED TVs, pin action instant replay, and ball speedometer. Entertainment accessories include an 11 foot wide projection screen at the end of the lanes, as well as additional LED TVs for sports and movie viewing. The automatic pinsetter machines are Brunswick A-2 models, rebuilt piece-by-piece by Fusion Bowling and custom painted red. The room's interior design features dark wooden beams across the lanes to hide the special effects lighting, limestone columns with rustic lanterns, wood plank flooring with a wooden transition strip onto the flush-mounted lane surface. The bowling package includes guest bowling balls, lane maintenance kit, Kegel automatic lane cleaning/conditioning machine, secondary ball return storage rack, two sets of bowling pins (red and neon glow green), and guest bowling shoes.

Transitional Architectural Theatre Lighting & Interior Design
This Batman themed theater was not part of the original theater plans. I was hired by the owners to do lighting design for their new construction home. In my first preliminary lighting plan presentation the husband expressed his passion for a Batman themed theater and showed me an image of a Batman themed theater he liked. Which he followed up to say it was out of his budget.
I was hired for lighting design. What the owners did not know was that I have an interior design degree. I asked what amount he was willing to spend for a Batman themed theatre. I knew I could design the theatre for a quarter of the cost of the theatre he had shown me. I felt comfortable saying I could design lighting and interiors for the theatre within their budget.
I proceeded with bringing in my team of artists to review the images of his Batman comic magazine collection that had to be in the theater: Batcave, Wayne Manor, Lincoln Penney, Bat phone and the Joker.
As the images indicate, we succeeded in designing and installing the Batman themed theatre to meet the client's criteria.
At the owner’s request: Linear LEDs lit the Batcave faux wall murals of stone and Wayne Manor aged wood columns, custom crystal wall sconces, and a library with a life size Batman costume hidden behind a false bookcase. A false wooden window with a Gotham City Mural of the Bat signal were revealed by using ultraviolet black lights.
It was a fun project but could not have been accomplished without a team of excellent artists, building contractors, A.V. control company, millwork fabricators and electricians.

Shown: Kährs Lux Sky wood flooring
Kährs have launched two new ultra-matt wood flooring collections, Lux and Lumen. Recently winning Gold for 'Best Flooring' at the 2017 House Beautiful Awards, Kährs' Lux collection includes nine one-strip plank format designs in an array of natural colours, which are mirrored in Lumen's three-strip designs.
The new surface treatment applied to the designs is non reflective; enhancing the colour and beauty of real wood, whilst giving a silky, yet strong shield against wear and tear.
Emanuel Lidberg, Head of Design at Kährs Group, says,
“Lux and Lumen have been developed for design-led interiors, with abundant natural light, for example with floor-to-ceiling glazing. Traditional lacquer finishes reflect light which distracts from the floor’s appearance. Our new, ultra-matt finish minimizes reflections so that the wood’s natural grain and tone can be appreciated to the full."
The contemporary Lux Collection features nine floors spanning from the milky white "Ash Air" to the earthy, deep-smoked "Oak Terra". Kährs' Lumen Collection offers mirrored three strip and two-strip designs to complement Lux, or offer an alternative interior look. All designs feature a brushed effect, accentuating the natural grain of the wood. All floors feature Kährs' multi-layered construction, with a surface layer of oak or ash.
This engineered format is eco-friendly, whilst also making the floors more stable, and ideal for use with underfloor heating systems. Matching accessories, including mouldings, skirting and handmade stairnosing are also available for the new designs.

We’ve been in business since 1998 and have learned a few things over the years. Customers want excellent, reliable products without spending more than necessary. We decided to not have a large flashy retail store and focus on referrals rather than traditional advertising. In doing so, we’re able to provide the same great quality products as our competitors at a better price. And the amazing thing is, we do all of this while putting our focus on excellent customer service for our clients. Don’t take our word for it, check out what some of our customers are saying about us. www.abdawindowfashions.com

WHY CHOOSE US?
We have been in business since November 1998 and started in the window covering business by cleaning & repairing blinds. This gave us a unique perspective from most window covering dealers. We have always considered how well products hold up and which manufacturers stand behind their products the best. We let our clients know the benefits of more expensive products and give honest feedback. We take pride in showing alternative products to fit all budgets. We also give our customers an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturers guarantee!
Our great testimonials on Angie’s List, Houzz.com and referrals have helped our company grow without the need for “conventional” advertising. Abda means ‘servant’. At Abda, we approach every customer with a servant’s attitude. This philosophy has helped our customers feel confident in their purchases and well-taken care of. Our number one focus is customer service and we believe in putting the customer’s needs first. We offer our clients an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturer’s warranty and want each and every client to be completely happy with their purchase. We’ve been awarded the prestigious 2014 Angie’s List Super Service Award, an honor bestowed annually on approximately 5 percent of all the businesses rated on the nation’s leading provider of consumer reviews. We’ve grown over the years and have added more team members to our company and we’re very excited at the direction our company is going.
