We built our house 22 years ago. I have been a custom window treatment professional for 16 years. I have fabricated lots of draperies, valance and Roman shades, and, rather considered pillows to be an afterthought. We purchased vintage pieces ad a Goodwill Super Store and then, with the help of my friend, Lynda Reid, of Lynda Reid Designs, chose fabrics from which I made piilows. Most of the fabrics are Vervain and I just love them/

The Hale pool features an innovative bridge over the pool for a lagoon-type feel in the backyard, as well as a variety of water features including sheer waterfalls on the side of the bridge, a spillover spa, sundeck and scuppers. The assortment of water features provide a relaxing sound-effect in the backyard. The travertine coping around the pool and spa give the backyard a high-end look, along with the stamped concrete for an eye-catching decorative touch.

A mid-century modern kitchen typically features clean lines, sleek surfaces, and a minimalist approach to design. The color scheme is often muted, focusing on natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal. Cabinets are usually flat-panel and made of wood or laminate, with simple hardware. Countertops are often made of quartz, granite, or marble; flooring is typically hardwood or tile. Large windows are also standard in mid-century modern kitchens, allowing plenty of natural light to flood the space. Overall, the design is functional, understated, and timeless.
