Designer Genevieve Ghaleb was inspired by the presentday Contemporary Movement in Miami to
create this room for a busy gentleman in
need of intentional daily luxury. A lot of the
elements feature simple, clean lines. According
to her, “The Percy® Collection Faucets capture
this perfectly—their proportion is like no
other I’ve seen.” So refined, they just sit back
unobtrusively in this contemporary space.

The entry of our Lincoln Park Greek Revival home is custom fabricated with solid cherry wood, glass sidelights and a transom. Finished with a product similar to what is used on boats, it guards against the toughest Chicago winters. Its thickness and traditional paneling gives the door a very substantial old-world feel, reflecting the classic nature of the home.
The portico columns are custom, hand-carved, Indiana Oolitic limestone designed in the Composite Order. They incorporate Corinthian leaves with Ionic volutes. The front façade features limestone detailing which was hand-carved and cut specifically for this home.
As with all of our homes, the windows in this project are custom. Although the stained wood on these front facade windows requires a bit more maintenance, the look is undeniably beautiful. A finishing detail- the home was completed with a custom wrought iron fence.

Located on the same footprint as the original brick structure, the new, one-story residence is oriented on the site to take advantage of the expansive views of Mts. Sunapee and Kearsarge. By implementing a mix of siding treatments, textures and materials, and unique rooflines the home complements the surrounding site, and caps off the top of the grassy hill.
New entertainment rooms and porches are located so that the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains are always prominent. Dressed in bright and airy colors, the spaces welcome conversation and relaxation in spectacular settings. The design of three unique spaces, each of which experience the site differently, contributed to the overall layout of the residence. Tired of freezing bleak winters, this client decided to split her time between Michigan and Southern California. She bought this bright, airy home that epitomizes West Coast living, but the prior owner had not done anything to maintain the garden in many years. The grounds were filled with poorly placed and sickly-looking plants. The new homeowner wanted her garden to be a respite from subzero temperatures, filled year-round with flowers. Deciding what to keep, what to move and what to add, we came up with a plant pallet full of California and Mexico natives, and lots of succulents as well. We added over 1000 plants, filling this property with lush, year-round color that is undeniably Southern Californian.
