Home Basement Renovation The previously unfinished basement has undergone a remarkable transformation and now boasts an entirely new living space. With this addition, the overall square footage of the house has expanded, providing more room for relaxation and entertainment. This new space is perfect for hosting parties, movie nights, and family gatherings. By converting the basement into a living area, the homeowners have unlocked the full potential of their house and created a more functional and comfortable living environment for themselves and their loved ones.

The home owner purchased this home in Buckhead. A prominent neighborhood of Atlanta. The goal of this young woman was to transform the space from classical ranch that had undergone multiple additions to a more modern with a transitional nautical feel. As well as renovating a large amount of the interior including, master suite, kitchen, and living/dining, a large amount of attention was paid to the exterior living spaces and entry.

The 1,750-square foot Manhattan Beach bungalow is home to two humans and three dogs. Originally built in 1929, the bungalow had undergone various renovations that convoluted its original Moorish style. We gutted the home and completely updated both the interior and exterior. We opened the floor plan, rebuilt the ceiling with reclaimed hand-hewn oak beams and created hand-troweled plaster walls that mimicked the construction and look of the original walls. We also rebuilt the living room fireplace by hand, brick-by-brick, and replaced the generic roof tiles with antique handmade clay tiles. We returned much of this 3-bed, 2-bath home to a more authentic aesthetic, while adding modern touches of luxury, like radiant-heated floors, bi-fold doors that open from the kitchen/dining area to a large deck, and a custom steam shower, with Moroccan-inspired tile and an antique mirror. The end result is evocative luxury in a compact space.

St. Alban House is a private residence which has undergone significant reconstructions and extension to accommodate a growing family. The house is complexly designed allowing two separate flats to exist within the same house. More notably, the design implementation upholds the privacy of the various apartments while maintaining a sense of unity as a family home. Large full-height bi-fold doors and skylights have been created for easier access to the exquisite garden.

Summer Street House Remodel in Ojai is a small, three bedroom house tucked away in a quiet corner near downtown Ojai. Two unassuming, white farmhouse cottages are centered around a courtyard with two small cabins in the back. The first cottage contains the living room, dining room, kitchen and a powder room. Connected by a gravel courtyard and stone walkway, the second cottage contains the bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry room. All four structures on the property have recently undergone a full renovation completed in early 2021. The central courtyard has a custom made dining table under a canopy of mature olives and flanked by a stone fire pit.

It’s first impression was memorable as immediately after entering the front door, just past the dining table, there was a tree growing in the middle of home! Upon further inspection of the space it became apparent that this home had undergone several alterations during its lifetime... The homeowners unabashedness towards colour and willingness to embrace the home’s mid-century architecture made this home one of a kind. The existing T&G cedar ceiling, dropped beams, and ample glazing naturally leant itself to a mid-century space.
