We dressed her family room windows with motorized shades for their convenience to operate. Pioneer mosaic real thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill looks fantastic as wainscoting on the exterior of this building. Pioneer is a natural hand-picked fieldstone that is sawed into thin stone veneer. The stone has neutral and pleasing earth tones with a soft and natural texture. Pioneer showcases the fieldstone in its completely natural state with irregular shapes. Some fieldstones are split with a hydraulic press to form ashlar, ledgestone, or castle rock style stones, whereas, Pioneer is unaltered and forms a mosaic style. Pioneer is subject to greater variation due to being a fieldstone product. This variation adds character and beauty to the unique look of Pioneer. The individual pieces give flexibility to the mason over the final appearance as the stone can be laid in a more linear fashion if desired.

This project is a renovation and addition of a prominent historic house in Concord, Massachusetts. All of the design work was subject to the review of the Concord Historic Districts Commission to ensure the continuity of its historic character. Ultimately, my goal was to convey this fundamental lesson of simple pleasures in a creative photographic message in hopes of illustrating the value of this explainable phenomenon. I chose items that most of us walk by most of the time without much thought. As a result, this project is a pictorial representation of some of the amazing inexpensive sources of joy in my world. Photography is one way for me to express the way I think, feel, and love. What I have captured with my camera last longer then the fleeting moments of bliss. These Liberty Hill homeowners had one very distinct issue with outdoor food prep. Facing due west, their grill space on the patio was subject to the hottest sunlight of the entire day. To resolve the issue, we added on a custom shade roof, built specifically for evening grilling! This angled metal roof will keep the elements at bay, so the grill master can attend to his or her duties in complete comfort.

The Quarry Mill's Brentwood Dimensional natural thin stone veneer showcases a beautiful wood-like grain to make the exterior of this home pop. Brentwood Dimensional is a sawn height version of our standard Brentwood real stone veneer. The sawn heights add a formal element to this natural stone veneer. Brentwood Dimensional has unique wood like veining on the individual pieces of stone. This natural high-density sandstone is subject to heavy variation. Some stone pieces have heavy and pronounced swirling grains whereas other pieces have none. The natural blend of swirling grains or wood like veining on the pieces of stone is in the same proportion as it naturally occurs in the ground.
