They would like to add sunroom. After talking to our designer, they come to conclusion to add sunroom/ Breakfast area to extend the kitchen & kill two birds with one stone. Also, they decide to renovate two bathrooms upstairs. (Master bathroom & Hall bathroom) Master bathroom was too small & after meeting with designer they agreed to take couple feet from bedroom & enlarge master bathroom. We have taken down bearing wall to adjacent family room to expand kitchen and implement 10’ feet long Island with sink, dishwasher and microwave into it. The gas line and new 48” professional stove was relocated to west wall and now home for a long run of floor to ceiling cabinetry. Display glass front lit cabinetry is place for her color full china’s The north wall where closet used to be now is place for large scale refrigerator and freezer towers and pantry space. Inspiration for a small contemporary master beige tile and ceramic tile ceramic tile and beige floor bathroom remodel in London with shaker cabinets, beige cabinets, beige walls, quartz countertops, a hinged shower door and beige countertops

This small Brooklyn kitchen is approximately 136 square feet. The clients are avid cooks and often host large family gatherings. Creating more storage was a key component of the design, as well as maximizing counter space. The clients wanted a 'Parisian' feeling to their new kitchen which was achieved with furniture and finishes. The existing floor was replaced with a honed stone porcelain tile, which hides any spills and has a neutral greenish tone. The existing kitchen cabinets remained, but were painted to match the new glass front storage unit next to the table. Satin nickel knobs and pulls were also added. A new undercount sink was installedand the countertops over the cabinets and the new storage unit are a beautifully toned green/white granite. The new backsplash is a sea green glass subway tile. Under cabinet lighting was installed, as there is only one small window in the kitchen. A new black marble bistro style table with leather chairs can also function as a serving bar at dinner parties.

Extra storage anyone? My client wishes were to fill this wasted space with clever storage ideas. The stairway wall was directly across from her dining room which has many Asian styled furniture pieces. So we wanted the cabinetry to have a bit of an Oriental flavor to them. The bottom drawers we were able to gain storage for her linens. While adding decorative glass to the upper doors she now has a space to display her beautiful china. The Cabinets are from DeWil's Custom Cabinetry, from their Horizon frameless line, the Manhattan door style was made with Maple wood in 108 ebony finish.
