A pair of vintage 1970's club chairs were restyled when reupholstered to give them a more updated look. The vintage drinks table has a very practical melamine top. Atop the mantle sits a collection of modern art pottery am=long with other small treasures. The Biedermeier clock has an elegant sculptural quality. The artwork is by Frank Hodge. An outdated 1960’s home with smaller rooms typical of this period was completely transformed into a timeless lakefront retreat that embraces the client’s traditions and memories. Anchoring it firmly in the present are modern appliances, extensive use of natural light, and a restructured floor plan that appears both spacious and intimate.

The upper deck includes Ipe flooring, an outdoor kitchen with concrete countertops, and panoramic doors that provide instant indoor/outdoor living. Waterfall steps lead to the lower deck's artificial turf area. The ground level features custom concrete pavers, fire pit, open framed pergola with day bed and under decking system.

We love a sleek shiplap fireplace surround. Our clients were looking to update their fireplace surround as they were completing a home remodel and addition in conjunction. Their inspiration was a photo they found on Pinterest that included a sleek mantel and floor to ceiling shiplap on the surround. Previously the surround was an old red brick that surrounded the fire box as well as the hearth. After structural work and granite were in place by others, we installed and finished the shiplap fireplace surround and modern mantel.
