Kitchens Bespoke Ltde were especially pleased to work with this lovely client again, having designed a kitchen for her previously. This new project consisted of two briefs to maximise the space and natural light for a bijoux annexe;
Design a sleek contemporary open plan kitchen plus utility.
Design bedroom storage and a home working space within the open plan area.
To achieve the contemporary uncluttered style that would maximise the sense of light and space, a true handleless design was the obvious choice. The main run of cabinets in the kitchen and on the wardrobe doors are acrylic gloss with a ply edge. The light reflecting qualities of the gloss doors is further accentuated by the tropical green toughened glass panel behind the sink. We just love this injection of colour. It not only really suits this modern space but will look fabulous when the patio area is developed. Our customer is planning to create a beautiful green oasis with plants on the patio, which will just make this area feel so connected to the outside. The sink area is finished off perfectly with a black Quooker Fusion tap.
The kitchen island offers a great contrast with the main run of furniture. The concrete effect handleless doors and Konigstone quartz ‘Concrete fossil’ worktop create a real feature, and provide some texture. Extending the worktop down over the sides of the island complements the seamless and uncluttered style of this kitchen perfectly. Not only does it look great, but its a practical space too. Built into the island is an evo port for sockets, enabling it to double up as a work and food prep area.
For a final flourish, the glass shelves are all fitted with LED lights behind them, offering more ambient lighting options.

This kitchen by Cheng Design is located within a massive, 12,000 sq. ft. rammed earth home anchoring a working Napa County, California vineyard. Commissioned to create a sculptural yet functional cooking space expressing art and utility, the design approach was to create a monolith — a unified kitchen space of simple low walls and concrete countertops, seamless cabinetry details and hardware, and a clever orchestration of gourmet appliances to echo the mass of the house and anchor the overwhelming space.

Tradition Outdoor LivingOur client in Katy, Texas had an existing covered patio that was too small to meet their family's needs. Tradition Outdoor Living designed a large outdoor retreat, perfect for their family and with plenty of space for entertaining or visiting with family and friends. This open plan included a pergola, outdoor kitchen and bar, stamped concrete and a fire pit with seating area.
Stepping out onto the patio, your attention is immediately drawn to the stunning stone firepit and seating area. This custom bench provides additional seating for roasting S’mores, stargazing, and serves as a wall to hide the large utility box in the yard.
The polygal covered pergola offers partial shade with added protection from the heat and rain. Enjoy grilling, dining, and entertaining without having to worry about the unpredictable Texas weather.
The raised bar constructed from the same stone as the outdoor kitchen and fire pit ties the old and new spaces together. The entire outdoor space flows seamlessly with the custom stamped concrete overlay.

This Renovation included a new roof, new steel siding, new windows and doors, new plumbing, extensive new electrical, new Testing Laboratory, new Offices, new Slag Recovery Production Areas, new Loading Dock & extensive reinforcing of the existing concrete floor.
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RENOVATIONS – Tenant Improvements including ADA upgrades to a 100 year old Smelter Building and Warehouse.
ELECTROWINNING BUILDING – A New 4,660 s.f. masonry and steel 2-story building, used for electrowinning copper and zinc. This specialized building had to be designed to withstand acid deterioration.
BUILDING E – Renovations of 32,000 s.f. Smelter Electrical Building with 2,400 s.f. mezzanine, built in 1917. Renovations in include new structural additions, electrical, plumbing, Offices, Administration, Shipping & Receiving, Staff Lounge, Executive Offices, Warehouse and Vehicle Maintenance.
SITE – All new utilities, new roads, upgrades to a 1917 concrete bridge leading to the 80 acre Slag Pile, renovations to the Guard House, new entry gates and security fencing, new site lighting, coordination with the Town of Clarkdale for an effluent re-use water line, new site circulation including sidewalks, steps and ADA ramps.

DRC design+constructionI designed and built this house by myself when I was 24 years old for $75,000. The house features a custom 12' rotating door. The home is in the 99.4 percentile in residential energy efficiency at .65$/SF/year for all energy and utilities.
The land also features a custom concrete freshwater swimming pool that was built with custom form work and utilizes aquatic plants for filtration.

Located in the heart of Brentwood, this project was a transformation of a standard backyard into a sophisticated, multi-functional destination. The goal was to maximize the footprint by creating distinct "rooms" that flow naturally from one to the next, perfect for the quintessential Southern California lifestyle.
The Execution
The Spa Retreat: We engineered a dedicated space for a high-end pre-fabricated spa, ensuring it felt like a built-in architectural feature rather than an afterthought.
Elevated Living: A custom raised outdoor living room provides a commanding view of the property. This elevation creates a clear visual boundary, defining the lounge as a cozy, intentional sanctuary.
The Culinary Hub: The project features a full-scale outdoor kitchen and social bar, outfitted with premium finishes to accommodate everything from morning coffee to large-scale dinner parties.
Textured Dining: For the dining area, we moved away from traditional concrete, utilizing a blend of cobblestone and gravel. This choice provides a beautiful European texture while offering excellent permeability—a sustainable yet stylish solution for the Los Angeles climate.
The Result
A seamless blend of modern utility and organic textures, this Brentwood residence now serves as the ultimate backdrop for both relaxation and high-end entertaining.
