We created layers using natural fibers, textual grasscloths, “knotty” artwork, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds. Brass metals, exposed ceiling planks, and unkempt linens provide beachside casualness.

Kitchen renovation. The Kitchen features our Epiphany Custom cabinets. The doorstyle is a shaker profile with a large bevel stile and rail. They are painted maple in Cloud White. The island is an Onyx stain on cherry wood. The top is Latinum granite. The backsplash is Gris Foussanna limestone tile in the 3x12 size. The floor is by Chelsea Plank Flooring's 3-4-5 Character Grade Walnut wood flooring.

They almost did their kitchen with BODBYN doors in off-white…but at the last minute they changed their minds and went with GRIMSLÖV off-white doors. “The BODBYN felt too traditional, we realized.” The IKEA handles really vary in size, which means the place where the holes are drilled varies, too. So the handles are not so easy to swap out. Choose carefully. For example, the LANSA handles look nice, but Irene finds they find that the little edges tend to catch things like shirts and towels.

Varying shades of glacial white and whitish-grays, arranged in a subtle blend of miniature sticks of varied length, mesh mounted for ease of installation on 11-3/4" X 12-1/4" X 1/8" (1 sf) interlocking sheets.

A quintessential beach home, the use of our heartwood maple Wood-Mode cabinets was a ideal choice by these homeowners. The high ceilings called for a varied height top alignment of the cabinetry and a nice sized crown detail. Lots of drawers, a deluxe lazy susan and a roll-out shelf pantry fill out this kitchen. Southwest master bedroom photo in San Francisco

This fun classic kitchen in Gold River features Columbia frameless cabinets in Sandy Hook grey. A green glass backsplash in a random matte and polished pattern complements the cabinets which are faced with both painted wood and frosted glass. The Silestone countertops in the Lyra finish have an ogee bullnose edge. The floors are finished in a rich brown porcelain tile of varying sizes that are made to resemble distressed wood.
