This contemporary custom home forms itself based on specific view vectors to Long's Peak and the mountains of the front range combined with the influence of a morning and evening court to facilitate exterior living. Roof forms undulate to allow clerestory light into the space, while providing intimate scale for the exterior areas. A long stone wall provides a reference datum that links public and private and inside and outside into a cohesive whole.

Altering the convention of a lighting fixture array, built symmetrically around a central column, Orb defies the expected by connecting its lit stems in a sculptural dance of various angles bringing order from chaos. The Orb 10-Light Pendant is finished in satin black finish with clear glass shades. Includes a stem kit with 3 X 12" sections and 1 X 6" section for an overall maximum height of 47.5". This modern renovation creates a focal point for a cool and modern living room with a linear fireplace surrounded by a wall of wood grain granite. The TV nook is recessed for safety and to create a flush plane for the stone and television. The firebox is enhanced with black enamel panels as well as driftwood and crystal media. The stainless steel surround matches the mixed metal accents of the furnishings.
