Inspiration for a contemporary home design remodel in Los Angeles

This beautiful warm contemporary home's style fits perfectly along the Venice canals but could look just as much "at home' in the mountains. Stacked stone and dark wood siding breaks up sturdy stucco and adds texture and warmth. Large wood columns house modern sliders that give the open concept bottom floor perfect indoor/outdoor living options complete with built in BBQ and patio seating. For extra privacy and spectacular views there is also a roof deck.

Another ta dah moment when we completed this master suite. It is now representing an uplifting, sophisticated casualness to the space. See all the pics to follow of this room. You should know behind those White filmy curtains behind the bed is a view of a few tree leaves but mostly a view of a very busy Venice Blvd. So we hid it a bit this way. Also White rods were used with bronze rings and finials that coordinate with the pre existing ceiling fan and we added them to the bed frame as well.
