This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. We installed a large display and a two-speaker setup in this entertainment space. The lighting and media systems are fully automated and capable of streaming audio and video services instantly with a voice command or the use of a smart device.

Think of the Noon Starter Kit as mission control center, but for your house. Play music, and even control your lighting with your voice using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Living room - traditional living room idea in Grand Rapids

All of the kitchen's taller elements have been installed together as one section between the Dining and Den entries. A counter-depth 42" refrigerator by KitchenAid is installed with matching panels applied. A Stainless double oven is next to that with plenty of landing and loading space directly behind the user on the island. The end panel to the left of the refrigerator opens up to reveal a kitchen command center for papers and other items that may normally pile up on the counters.
