For this siding project in Jenkintown, PA, we replaced the home's existing wood shakes with new vinyl shakes. Wood siding tends to swell and crack, drastically taking away from the home's curb appeal. Vinyl is a cost-effective siding solution that doesn't suffer the negatives you see with wood.

The white siding was replaced with a shaker style vinyl siding. The brick is painted in Para "Rebel", shutters and garage door are painted in Para "Critic's Review". The cleats under the window will hold a black window box.

Photos of my new house construction showing Midnight Surf 652 colour vinyl siding supplied by Gentek and Range Newport Grey stone siding. It's always hard to go off a small colour sample card so I hope this helps others who are deciding on siding colours.
