Stunning private oasis in Colleyville, TX designed by Mike Farley and recently on HGTV's "Ultimate Pools" Shangri-La Pool This project was constructed for privacy and relaxation. It has multiple water features including slate water walls, double rain falls coming out of a 10' arbor, fire bowls, water bowls, rain fall into spa, full outdoor kitchen, elevation changes, flagstone beach entry, large tanning ledge from tanning ledge to rain curtain, hidden grotto, diving slab, built in table. Inspiration for a mid-sized mediterranean full sun side yard gravel garden path in San Francisco.

Blending a modern sensibility with traditional architecture, this garden features a front yard meadow with native grasses (Carex praecracilis) and wildflowers. Poured-in-place concrete pavers in a meandering pattern slow the approach from the sidewalk to the entry. The modestly-sized backyard has been maximized for entertaining with outdoor dining and lounging areas and subtle landscape lighting. This property has a beautiful street presence, though coniferous screen plantings offer a large degree of privacy to the homeowner. The highlights of this landscape are found in the rear yard where we took a terraced approach to solve some grading challenges. A long fieldstone retaining wall is anchored on one end by a large built in spa. A centrally located water feature accented with ornamental plantings is a strong point of interest during entertainment and offers tranquil sounds of cascading water. Bluestone terraces along the length of the house, some covered and others open air, give ample room for guests and variety of options from which to enjoy the rear yard.

Treatment For Residential Waste water Every home generates wastewater and while there is no way of getting away from this fact, it is good to know that there are quite a few options when it comes to treating residential wastewater. The traditional septic tank For a very long time, the septic tank ruled the roost when it came to residential water treatment. This tank is a fairly simple construction and is very widely used. The combined approach Residential wastewater is also treated with the use of a combination of methods. For instance, a device that uses an aerobic approach to wastewater treatment will also have mechanical components to get the process to be even more effective. It is critical to invest in a system that promises total – 100% - treatment of the wastewater. If the residential wastewater is not treated comprehensively then the effluents can cause all kinds of health issues to the people in the property. Effective systems If you are scouting for a system to help in treating residential wastewater then you should know that there are systems that are sophisticated in their working. Flow equalization to ensure 100% treatment and the use of an internet based alarm system make such products very effective and energy efficient too. It is also a good idea to check with your local sanitation authorities before investing in products so you can ensure you are compliant with all local health and public safety rules and regulations. For instance, using NSF certified systems can help in this regard.
