Close up of new decomposed patio seating area and fire pit. At night, the fire pit is lit from beneath. This garden had great bones - it just needed some space planning and a little TLC. We removed an old and not very attractive rose garden to create a new decomposed granite seating area with a custom fire pit and some olive trees. The rest of the garden got a major landscape re-do, with low water plants, lawn area replaced with Kurapia, drip irrigation and LED landscape lighting. The clients are delighted with the new space and what with the lighting and firepit, can really enjoy this gorgeous garden!

Pergola and deck next to prefab shed by Studio Shed, along with outdoor kitchen and custom built steel veggie beds.. This was a great little design-build project for some great clients! We oversaw the construction of the shed, designed and built the pergola, deck, outdoor kitchen, water feature, flagstone patio, as well as installing the plants, irrigation and landscape lighting. So pretty at night!

This Hollywood Fairytail house had been lovingly restored, all but the garden! We demolished everything in the front garden and designed a new gracious porch with a checkerboard design in concrete tiles, new low water landscaping with drip irrigation and meandering paths of flagstone, a recirculating fountain and rain garden. Added fruit trees, native and climate appropriate plants and a walkable low water Ruschia area for kids and dogs.

The outdoor kitchen back drop is some beautiful Italian ceramic tiles that we installed. And look, you can just grab the veggies from the steel beds and throw them on the grill - grilled chard is actually amazing ;-) This was a great little design-build project for some great clients!
