on the other side of the large kitchen is this great room...a study in whimsical texture, plush mohair velvet, limestone and metal. the modern metal cocktail tables are from arteriors home, the mohair green sectional is from donghia. walls are covered in a wheat color grasscloth.

This close-up showcases LP SmartSide cedar shakes, trim and fascia. LP SmartSide cedar shakes provide the look of authentic cedar shakes but with much less maintenance. Rather than individual shakes, they come in four-foot lengths with both staggered and straight edges for design flexibility.

This 1850s farmhouse in the country outside NY underwent a dramatic makeover! Dark wood molding was painted white, shiplap added to the walls, wheat-colored grasscloth installed, and carpets torn out to make way for natural stone and heart pine flooring. We based the palette on quintessential American colors: red, white, and navy. Rooms that had been dark were filled with light and became the backdrop for cozy fabrics, wool rugs, and a collection of art and curios. This open concept living room and dining room is a charming and inviting space that seamlessly blends comfort and style. The mix of traditional and modern elements in this open concept space creates a charming and comfortable environment that's perfect for relaxing and entertaining. This open concept living room and dining room is a perfect example of how different design styles can blend together harmoniously.
