Photography: 360hometours.com A Charming Cape Cod Home in West Vancouver underwent a full renovation and redesign by Tina McCabe of McCabe Design & Interiors. The homeowners wanted to keep the original character of the home whilst giving their home a complete makeover. The kitchen space was expanded by opening up the kitchen and dining room, adding French doors off the kitchen to a new deck, and moving the powder room as much as the existing plumbing allowed. A custom kitchen design with custom cabinets and storage was created. A custom "princess bathroom" was created by adding more floor space from the adjacent bedroom and hallway, designing custom millworker, and specifying equisite tile from New Jersey. The home also received refinished hardwood floors, new moulding and millwork, pot lights throughout and custom lighting fixtures, wainscotting, and a new coat of paint. Finally, the laundry was moved upstairs from the basement for ease of use.

This St Johns Wood mansion block flat was one of our recent projects with a luxurious property developer in the area. We opened up spaces between the hallway, living area and kitchen to create a much more open feel throughout. A bespoke bench wrapped around the living space providing extra seating as well as storage whilst, keeping as much of the floor space free. Hidden cabling, Samsung Frame TV and biofires helped to add the luxuries without drawing away from the tranquillity. The brushed bronze finish on the island's facade contrasts with the sleek minimal gloss white cabinetry for the rest of the kitchen.⁠

This stunning kitchen combines an industrial feel with a minimal colour palette, whilst keeping a warmth to the space. We have used Sage Doors Ltd Lookcrete in the colour ‘Matala’ for the cabinetry, Silestone by Cosentino Dekton ‘Trillium’ for the benchtops and splashback, and an Archant Ecogranit sink. Check out the sleek trim around the fridge and the black toe kicks!

The client wanted us to use the silver wrought iron chandelier and beige linen bed from their previous property, whilst keeping the same tones we had used throughout the house in a contemporary and luxurious way.
