Key to any great design are focal points, here we see a trellised tile floor layout which includes porcelain planks to draw your eye and replicate the look of wood. Bordering the light/dark floor combination is an L-shaped vanity combined with a freestanding tub, the tub is positioned on a pinwheeled mosaic wainscot.

This beautiful one-story brick rancher located in Henrico County is impressive. Painting brick can be a hard decision to make but it’s a tried and true way of updating your home’s exterior without replacing the masonry. While some brick styles have stood the test of time, others have become dated more quickly. Moreover, many homeowners prefer a solid color for their home as compared to the natural variety of brick. This home was painted with Benjamin Moore’s Mayonnaise, a versatile bright white with a touch of creamy yellow.

Renovisions received a request from these homeowners to remodel their existing master bath with the design goal: a spa-like environment featuring a large curb-less shower with multiple showerheads and a linear drain. Accessibility features include a hand-held showerhead mounted on a sliding bar with separate volume controls, a large bench seat in Blue Pearl granite and a decorative safety bar in a chrome finish. Multiple showerheads accommodated our clients ranging heights and requests for options including a more rigorous spray of water to a soft flow from a ceiling mounted rain showerhead. The various sprays provide a full luxury shower experience. The curb-less Schluter shower system incorporates a fully waterproof and vapor tight environment to ensure a beautiful, durable and functional tiled shower. In this particular shower, Renovisions furnished and installed an elegant low-profile linear floor drain with a sloped floor design to enable the use of the attractive large-format (17” x 17”) Carrera-look porcelain tiles. Coordinating Carrera-look porcelain tiles with a band of color and shower cubby in Blue Pearl granite tie in with the color of the tile seat and ledge. A custom frameless glass shower enclosure with sleek glass door handles showcases the beautiful tile design. Replacing the existing Corian acrylic countertops and integrated sinks with granite countertops in Blue Pearl and rectangular under mount porcelain sinks created a gorgeous, striking contrast to the white vanity cabinetry. The widespread faucets featuring crystal handles in a chrome finish, sconce lighting with crystal embellishments and crystal knobs were perfect choices to enhance the elegant look for the desired space. After a busy day at work, our clients come home and enjoy a renewed, more open sanctuary/spa-like master bath and relax in style.

A master bathroom that had been already been nearly cleared out needed a major update and reconfiguration in this narrow space to create a spa-like oasis for these homeowners! A leaking shower and out of date fixtures inspired the homeowners to update their master bath. They enjoyed the layout but desired to update as they felt the 'style didn't look good'. The existing whirlpool tub was replaced with a new 5' Kohler Underscore soaking tub with a Kohler Purist 7 1/2" gooseneck bath faucet. The new Santa Cecilia granite tub deck was extended into the new steam shower to create a 12" shower seat for added comfort. The steam shower, along with the Kohler Purist brushed nickel shower fixtures, enhanced the spa-like features of their new bathroom. A second handheld showerhead provided additional use and ease of cleaning. Two symmetric shower niches provide much needed storage space and architectural detail. A Kohler Cimaron toilet was added to the existing toilet location.
