Meaning “line” in Swahili, the Mstari Safari Task Lounge itself is accented with clean wooden lines, as well as dramatic contrasts of hammered gold and reflective obsidian desk-drawers. A custom-made industrial, mid-century desk—the room’s focal point—is perfect for centering focus while going over the day’s workload. Behind, a tiger painting ties the African motif together. Contrasting pendant lights illuminate the workspace, permeating the sharp, angular design with more organic forms.
Outside the task lounge, a custom barn door conceals the client’s entry coat closet. A patchwork of Mexican retablos—turn of the century religious relics—celebrate the client’s eclectic style and love of antique cultural art, while a large wrought-iron turned handle and barn door track unify the composition.
A home as tactfully curated as the Mstari deserved a proper entryway. We knew that right as guests entered the home, they needed to be wowed. So rather than opting for a traditional drywall header, we engineered an undulating I-beam that spanned the opening. The I-beam’s spine incorporated steel ribbing, leaving a striking impression of a Gaudiesque spine.

The pond skimmer's main function is to remove debris that falls into the water reducing your workload and keep your pond clean for you to relax & enjoy.

No more blue walls, dark red-toned floors, or strictly pragmatic seating. Instead we wanted to inject this space with personality and light-infused layers. The best way to start? Bring on the farm feel with easy to apply, peel n’ place Stikwood! The six hour workload was completely offset by the immediate appeal of layered texture and warmth.

Lighten up your workload with the Archer acrylic and wood desk. Acrylic side panels make the drawers and desktop look like they're floating on air, giving small home offices a fresh, open look. Acrylic drawer hardware completes the mixed materials vibe—this modern desk really knows how to mix hard work with a little play.

This Bank Executive / Mom works full time from home. Accounting for this way of life, we began the office design by analyzing the space to accommodate for this individual’s workload and lifestyle.
The office nook remains integrated within the rest of the household, with “tweenaged” boys afoot. Still sequestered upstairs, Mom fulfills her role as a professional, while keeping an ear on the household activities.
We designed this space with ample lighting both natural and artificial, sufficient closed and open shelving, and supplies cupboards, with drawers and file cabinets. Craftsman Four Square, Seattle, WA - Master Bedroom & Office - Custom Cabinetry, by Belltown Design LLC, Photography by Julie Mannell

In a bootility room it's always good to have a mixture of concealed cabinets and open shelving designed to simplify everyday tasks. If the space is more laundry-focused, you can use floating shelving to place detergents out of reach, store spare towels, and keep household essentials streamlined and organised in baskets or jars. Whilst you should let walls share the workload, you should still consider work surface space and low fitted cabinets to maximise storage capacity.

He walked up to her and lovingly said, “hi, long time no see, how are you? Do I have chance to achieve my promise? Giving you a iridescent dream.”
She can’t help crying for movement, but she asked him why, because he told her that he would stay in France for his further study.
