This organic modern master bathroom is truly a sanctuary. Heated clay tile floors feel luxurious underfoot and the large soaking tub is an oasis for busy parents. The unique vanity is a custom piece sourced by the interior designer. The continuation of the large format porcelain tile from the kitchen and the use of walnut on the linen cabinets from Grabill Cabinets, bring in the natural textures central to organic modern interior design. This master bathroom is a great example of expert space planning. By moving the entry to the center, we had just enough room to have a double vanity on one side and a makeup vanity on the left. The bath tub is a lovely focal point in the large wet area. The dark floor and accent walls create drama, depth and a rich mood. We couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.

Giana Allen Design created a Master Bedroom on a 40 acre ranch in Southern Florida that was as dramatic as the land that surrounded the space. The high ceilings and beams create a feeling of both drama and rustic. The master bedroom relates to the rest of the home where the elements its modern clean lines are mixed with rustic materials. Drama of the four poster bed creates a feeling of intimacy with the high ceilings in such a large space. The chaise and chair were custom designed in to be oversized to create a warmth.

Bedroom - large transitional master medium tone wood floor and beige floor bedroom idea in New York with black walls and no fireplace

Our team began the master bedroom design by anchoring the room with a dramatic but simple black canopy bed. The next layer was a neutral but textured area rug with a herringbone "zig zag" design that we repeated again in our throw pillows and nightstands. The light wood of the nightstands and woven window shades added subtle contrast and texture. Two seating areas provide ample comfort throughout the bedroom with a small sofa at the end of the bed and comfortable swivel chairs in front of the window. The long simple drapes are anchored by a simple black rod that repeats the black iron element of the canopy bed. The dresser is also black, which carries this color around the room. A black iron chandelier with wooden beads echoes the casually elegant design, while layers of cream bedding and a textural throw complete the design.
