Home office - large transitional medium tone wood floor home office idea in Santa Barbara with white walls

Bedroom - coastal bedroom idea in Orange County

This six-bedroom home — all with en-suite bathrooms — is a brand new home on one of Lincoln Park's most desirable streets. The neo-Georgian, brick and limestone façade features well-crafted detailing both inside and out. The lower recreation level is expansive, with 9-foot ceilings throughout. The first floor houses elegant living and dining areas, as well as a large kitchen with attached great room, and the second floor holds an expansive master suite with a spa bath and vast walk-in closets. A grand, elliptical staircase ascends throughout the home, concluding in a sunlit penthouse providing access to an expansive roof deck and sweeping views of the city.. Nathan Kirkman

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. This bright contemporary bathroom remodel combines mod floor-to-ceiling stacked 4x4s with a blue irregular penny tile floor, a frameless glass shower door, heated towel warmer, wall-mounted sink, hanging picture rail, and a custom recessed niche with a fog-less mirror. To tie everything together, we used blue epoxy grout throughout the bathroom, which was color-matched to the tile floor, creating a subtle, cohesive finish. A clean, modern design with thoughtful details that maximize both style and function. Photos by Nova Soul Imagery
