Inspiration for a modern bedroom remodel in Miami

A beautiful hand loomed pure wool carpeting was used on this project. This subtle pattern can be used in a modern or transitional space. The dark hardwood floor relates nicely with the Taupe, White and Grey colors in the carpet. Our fabrication team used a complimentary color in a cotton binding material to complete the sides. Our installer completed this staircase install within a two day time frame. Wool carpet is a great choice for a staircase because it is an easy material to clean, stain resistant and flame retardant.

Fort Lauderdale meets Key West in this Gulf Building Custom Built South Florida home. The interior and exterior show off it's calm, beachy feel with a touch of elegance and sophistication present in every room.

Here we used a product by Mantelmount. The Mantelmount allows the tv to lower from the mantel, improving the visual experience. And in case you forget, the built in handle is heat sensitive and turns orange to alert you that the tv is too close to the fireplace. Photo by Eric Fries

This existing home was originally built circa 1919, and was ready for a major renovation. As was characteristic of the period in which the home was built, the existing spaces were small and closed in. The design concept included removing walls on first floor for a thoroughly updated and open living / dining / kitchen space, as well as creating a new first floor powder room and entry. Great care was taken to preserve and embrace original period details, including the wood doors and hardware (which were all refinished and reused), the existing stairs (also refinished), and an existing brick pier was exposed to restore some of the home’s inherent charm. The existing wood flooring was also refinished to retain the original details and character. Oversized and underused was how our Client described their old furniture for this space. We were brought in to come up with a furniture plan and accessorizing details that would make the space livable and loveable again!

Absolute Black Polished Granite is an elegant black granite with a small scale black on black patterning and a polished finish. This stone is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

This mid-century custom home had always intrigued me, so I was thrilled when asked by the homeowners to help to renovate their kitchen, master bath as well as three other bathrooms. Having a true sense of the home's essence and history, they were not afraid to use exotic and precious finishes to highlight its uniqueness. All doorknob sets and faucet sets are by Sherle Wagner and carefully selected by the homeowners to be unique to each space.
