Polished blue pearl granite set off the custom built cabinetry. Shelves and nooks were tucked in to display the owner’s collection of teapots and glassware.

The master bathroom includes a sink area, a closed off toilet, and a shower/bathing room. This photo shows both the sink area and a view of the shower/bathing room. The sink cabinet is done in Japanese "tansu" style with hand- forged iron hardware. The sink counter is marbled granite, the drawers are maple, and the floor is madrone.

Inspired by an antique Japanese Tansu style cabinet the owners, Bradley and Melissa, envisioned an efficient workspace with traditional Japanese character. They chose all plywood construction and solid wood doors with a Tansu like styling in a Sable colored Cherry.

A cabinet depth refrigerator is neatly hidden behind matching full wood overlay doors. Bradley digitized Melissa’s design for unique custom handles.

Japanese tansu-style cabinetry with classic exposed hardware and recessed panels. Note induction cooktop and flush custom hood surround to blend into overhead beam position. Countertop material changes to wood to ease hardness and cold from common elbow resting on stone.

A Miele hood and range are accented by a waterfall pattern of glass tile set in larger 17” X 26” Silk Verde tiles. The waterfall pattern is repeated throughout the kitchen to add visual continuity to the room.
