Could you please tell me what kind of wood was used for this floor? Our home is approximately 60 years old. We have red oak throughout the house. I would like to have it stained and I know depending on the wood, it could take on a different color than expected. I also love the finish. It doesn't look like a satin, it has a duller look. Thank you!
