We had a really positive experience with our Home "Refresh" using 328 Design Group. In the initial consult, Hallie listened to our desire to create much more light in our older home, a home that often felt darker with so many trees, darker paint and not enough indoor lighting. Our designer was Allison and she was fabulous throughout the process, very patient in helping us figure out what we liked and didn't like. Our style is unique in that we were trying to incorporate more antiques, vintage pieces and color than often seen in more modern homes. We appreciated how Allison worked really hard to listen and design spaces that reflected our family, interests and whimsical preferences. It was a huge help and took a lot of time and stress off of us to have Kerry as the GC, managing the various trades (who were all excellent), coming in and out of the house. He was very attentive to detail and a pleasure to work with. The entire team is responsive in communication and super organized.
Our goal was to have a lighter, updated space which which blended our unique decor items into a space that feels like "our home." The 328 Design team accomplished all of that beautifully and we are thrilled with the finished product! We think that you get what you pay for and highly recommend the entire team at 328 Design.

We had a great experience with 328 Design Group from the beginning design stages to the end, we found them easy to work with. They are timely communicators and we never had an issue that wasn’t resolved quickly. We were impressed with all the subs they used who also showed up on time and did a good job. Hallie had creative building design ideas, Allison worked with us on interior design and Kerry kept all the balls in the air. Kerry kept us informed of any cost changes and gave options if needed. We found them all to be personable, caring and attentive to details. We highly recommend them for any building project you have in mind.

328 Design did a full renovation of our kitchen, dining, and living areas, which included both the design and project management of the entire project. Hallie is a very gifted designer and Kerry is an incredible project manager. It took us about 2 years of planning to finally get to demo, and while we encountered several challenges along the way, the most notable thing I can say about our experience with 328 is that we love the finished product and our project timeline ended up being only 1 week longer than what was originally planned (unheard of!). The majority of the contractors that were used on our project stood out as being very professional, helpful, and just all around great people. We recommend 328 to friends all the time, and plan to work with them again in the future.

This is our second project with 328. Our shower enclosure is just beautifully done. We are very pleased with the high quality of the trades people and the overall outcome. It was a consistently good experience.
Only one negative is that the project took a little longer to complete but the results are worth it.

We recommend Hallie and her team at 328 Design wholeheartedly! They did a full gut renovation of an old home in Congress Park for us and we absolutely love it. Hallie's designs are so thoughtful and after having lived in the home for a year, we have yet to find something we wish we would have done differently. Any construction project (and certainly one as significant as ours was) is going to cost more than you hope and have many challenges. If you can accept that as a part of the territory of doing a construction project, then Hallie is the person you want guiding you through that process. She's seen it all and is a great problem solver when the problems keep on coming. We would work with 328 Design again without reservation.

This review is long over-due. We have worked with Hallie on several projects over the past ten years. These projects include an entire first floor renovation for which her team managed the entire design/build process (including structural changes), finishing a basement, providing all materials for a new home addition that we completed in 2023, as well as other smaller projects throughout the years. Hallie’s team, as well as the subcontractors that she hires, are incredibly professional. 328 Design is the only company we have worked with which consistently exceeds expectations. This applies to their vision, management, timeliness, problem solving, responsiveness and execution within a set budget. 328 Design has a profound ability to truly understand what a client is looking for and make it a reality. In all instances, the final results of their work were far better than we imagined at the start of the project. Hallie puts a great deal of thoughtfulness into the projects that she manages. On multiple occasions she made corrections/suggestions above and beyond what would be required of her and her team in order to make sure we would have the best possible outcome. Hallie and her team will continue to be the first team we reach out to for all future projects.

We have used Hallie for 3 remodeling projects over the past few years. This is the first one where they also managed the project and subcontractors as well. Design, demo and construction, from start to finish for our master bathroom which had a complete overhaul. Hallie's design skills/taste are excellent, her creativity and ability to understand the look a person is going for are a real talent. The construction process stayed on schedule and on budget, which is almost unheard of these days. All of the trades, tile, paint, electrical etc. showed up when scheduled. 328 does a great job of communicating on the status of the job, timelines etc. I would highly recommend using them for any remodling project.

Hallie worked hard to take our existing space and give us floorplans that worked all of our desired spaces. Her professionalism and attention to every detail impressed us from the moment she stepped in to talk to us about our space. With floorplans in hand, Hallie walked us through each option and was careful to point out any potential hiccups or sacrifices we may find in each version. Ultimately her work led to a beautiful basement remodel with a space dedicated to each of our needs and requests. We look forward to working with her again when we are ready to remodel our main floor.

I’m writing this review almost a year to date after our master bedroom/ bathroom remodel began on 5/10/21. Our 8-12 week project was completed last month making it a 40+ week project.
Please note it wasn’t because of supply chain issues. It was because of mismanagement of the project by Hallie Veith of 328 Design and the incredibly sloppy work and craftsmanship of the contractors she sourced and vouched for.
Perhaps I should have taken it as a sign that the project would be problematic on day 1 when the demo crew forgot to turn off the water and caused a leak through to our main floor. At the time I chalked it up to “just one of those things” but it really set the tone for the project and from then on the project was sloppy, under-managed by Hallie and full of sub-standard work. The most frustrating part of the whole project was that I spent countless hours pointing out to Hallie how sloppy the work was and after promising me over and over that we would be thrilled with the results, we are left with a space that is filled with inconsistencies in drywall texture, paint and tons of little annoyances like vents not being screwed in properly, inconsistent caulking, etc.
Hallie promised me that we’d be happy with the project in the end. Well, we are not. We spent close to 100k (not sure exactly how much as she never provided me with a final budget) and I just hope that someone doesn’t look closely at the work when we sell our home. Please note that I’m happy to provide pictures or more details of the work if you’d like to see the quality of work she considers acceptable.
At the end of the day, I need to take responsibility for hiring Hallie and trusting that her renovation model would work. Hallie has a good eye for design. There is no denying that. The problem with her business model is that she does not have control over or a close enough eye on the quality of the work that the subcontractors she coordinates and "manages".. Because of that, our simple project became one of trying to fix sloppy work and at the end of the day, there's only so many fixes you can do without starting from scratch. It's a real bummer. This was not a complicated project. If you are looking to hire 328 Design, I'd ask way more questions than we did and I'd go look at several RECENT projects of hers to see the end result.

We are disappointed in this review, as any company would be. We would like to provide more context for the above and reassure both Karla and anyone reading this that we stand behind our work 100%. We have reached out to Karla to continue to address any concerns she has but have yet to receive a response.
The project details below illustrate that 328 Design not only stands behind their work, but that we go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The project could have been considered complete at week 14, but 328 Design worked to address customer concerns for the subsequent 8 months (through April 2022), with 328 Design paying for custom furniture repair technicians, drywall re-do, paint repairs with Karla’s personally selected paint contractor and more. Any drywall work that Karla identified as “sloppy” was re-done from the beginning, to ensure that it would be properly repaired.
As for Karla’s comment regarding management, at a minimum 328 Design walks through each project with every trade person at the beginning of their scope of work and at the end of their work, to ensure that work is done properly. Any identified craftsmanship issues are addressed at that point and again with a punch list at the end of the project.
In addition, 328 Design’s recommended contractors stand behind their work. For example, the 328 Design’s recommended painting contractor (that completed the initial work) asked Karla to pay what she thought fair after she expressed dissatisfaction with their work. She had the option to pay nothing or up to the full invoice amount (Karla opted to pay 50% of the invoice which the painting contractor accepted).
A brief history of the project is as follows:
Demolition began mid-May of 2021 and on July 14, 2021 a project recap email was sent suggesting Karla schedule her cleaners as we were nearing the end of the project. On August 2nd 2021, exactly 12 weeks from the demo, the final scheduling details for installation of shower glass, deck door installation, final trim, paint touch up, and carpet installation were shared.
Carpet was installed on August 18th, 2021 and at this point the bathroom/house was completely up and running, and the project could have been considered complete. Karla expressed concerns with inconsistencies in drywall texture and paint along with a poorly done caulk line along the master bathroom crown molding on two small upper cabinets.
Throughout the August – October 2021 timeframe, 328 Design and their associates re-did drywall and paid for re-painting of multiple areas at the customer’s request. A warranty claim on cabinet parts was filed in August with a long lead time on parts (due to supply chain issues). These parts arrived late November and were installed and resolved on December 9th excluding the crown molding.
At this point 328 Design discovered that because of how the crown molding was initially installed, it needed a specialty furniture company to replace. 328 Design worked with multiple specialty repair shops before finding one who would had a technician that could properly fix the issue. This search took many months and everything was completed in April of 2022.
As a recap, 328 Design not only stood behind the work of its recommended contractors but paid a substantial sum out of their own pocket to address any concerns Karla had. 328 Design also waived all remaining contractual payments Karla owed as compensation for the process. Our offer still stands to discuss with Karla any concerns she has, but at this point she has not contacted us after our last repair in April of 2022 nor responded when we have reached out. While we do not have photos of this project, we would be happy to have our photographer document the final result.

I remember the first time I met Hallie. She walked into our new home with a stride of confidence and said "You're going to have to trust me if we're going to do this together." We hired Hallie to do all the interior and exterior design of our home renovation. We also entrusted her with choosing all furnishings inside and out. Nearly two years later our renovation project is complete and nothing short of magnificent. Hallie played a significant role in helping us create our dream home. There were four things that we most appreciated about working with Hallie:
1. Hallie's first priority was making sure that she got it RIGHT... that we would be thrilled with the result. Her patience and insight was unmeasurable as we would make new choices, push back occasionally and then sometimes feel completely lost. The result was a home that feels like a new version of US as she guided us through a process that helped us dream big.
2. Hallie's knowledge is both wide and deep. We were always astounded at Hallie's knowledge. She could offer up the best choice for a rug, redesign the layout of an entire room to make it more functional, know what roof tiles made the most sense, and challenge our contractor on what was possible with construction. Hallie had valuable insight into absolutely EVERYTHING. She was our go to person regardless of the choice or challenge.
3. Hallie is a kind a good human. She just has this way about here where you want to be around her. She was our companion through a very long and arduous construction project. She was also our companion though some very challenging ups and downs of life during the same time. As much as we appreciate who Hallie is in her work, we also appreciate who she is in her life.
4. Hallie operates from integrity. She does what she says she will do. She is there when she says she'll be there. She communicates openly. She cares about doing her best work. She is easy to trust.
We can not recommend Hallie enough for any project big or small. She is a gem.

Hallie is the absolute best. We own an older home and had no idea how to bring it up to date. She worked with us through structural changes as well as aesthetics. The entire remodel went much faster than we anticipated and she handled it all. Every contractor that worked with us on the project was recommended by her. All were professional and did immaculate work. There are a lot of designers that only use their tastes when picking out finishes for your home. Hallie took our style and brought it up a notch. We have received nothing but compliments since the completion of this project. Any future updating/remodeling that we need, she is our first choice. Highly recommend working with Hallie!

Hallie and Michelle have been an invaluable asset for our new home. They have a keen eye and sense of style that had made this whole process fun and enjoyable. They have brought me out of my comfort zone, but in the best possible way. They brought lighting and furniture choices to the table that I love and am so excited about, but never would have considered left to my own devices. I love that they do all the ground work, present what they have come up with and for the most part I have been thrilled with all of the choices they have brought to the table. In the rare instance where I haven't been wowed, they come back with something different that they think will work and I have been very happy with the new choices. They are both fun and easy to work with and for me, have tuned this project from something that was overwhelming in to something that has been a lot of fun and I know that the finished product will be a perfect fit both for me and the style of the house, which is something I know I could not have achieved on my own. Hiring 328 was, without a doubt, the smartest decision I have made for this house project.

Out of all the groups I have worked with, Hallie Veith and Design Group has performed with the most professionalism, consistency, and reliability. Hallie's ability to maintain professional relationships is unmatched. Her attention to detail complemented by her passion for design, results in an outstanding finished product. I choose to work with Hallie and Design Group for my professional investment properties as well as my personal entities. I cannot praise Hallie enough. We worked with 328 Design earlier this year on a remodel of our first floor including our kitchen. We started construction right before the pandemic hit. While both our house and the world seemed to be turned upside down, Hallie and her team kept their cool and our project on track. We absolutely love the end result and enjoy our new space every day. Hallie kept the the project to budget - even better than we did! She worked with our ideas and our feedback and everything we asked for was addressed and included. She and her team stayed on top of the project until the last little details were completed. Her calm, professional demeanor was very much appreciated throughout the project. Overall, our experience with 328 Design was top notch.

Hallie did a great job coordinating and handling design selections for our remodel. Her ideas were fresh, balancing the new with our existing house. Her subcontractors were top notch, and she did a really good job of project management even through the initial uncertainty of COVID-19. Her communications were clear, and we have recommended her to friends in need of design services.

In January 2019, we begin what became an almost 10-month total home renovation project. Just a couple of months before, we purchased a mid 80’s modern house on a beautiful 5 acre horse property with plans to turn it into a modern farmhouse. As demolition began, and the home was stripped down to the studs, we quickly realized that while we had a vision for this project and had saved and pinned hundreds of styles and looks, we needed a designer to bring our vision to life. We interviewed a couple of designers and just didn’t feel like we were aligned. A designer that I was interested in working with would not travel to Parker, and she referred me to 328 Design. Best referral we could have had. After reviewing the website and a visit to our project, we immediately knew Hallie and 328 Design were the perfect fit for us. Hallie, provided us with a detailed scope of work and aligned the design schedule to the GC’s timeline. Before our first walkthrough, we emailed Hallie dozens of concepts and ideas for our home. We scheduled a walkthrough where Hallie again asked us to share all of our ideas and thoughts for each room and space. Hallie always focused on balancing function and design while helping us be very intentional with when, where and how to leverage design without doing too much. We also learned that human psychology plays a big role in design. Here are the top three reasons why Hallie and 328 Design outperformed our expectations:
1.Prior to working with Hallie, our GC sent us to pick tile, a very common process. We visited three tile stores and left each appointment unsure of our selections and needed to schedule more time to finish the job. Hallie contacted the tile stores and reviewed our current selections. On our next scheduled walkthrough, to our absolute surprise and amazement, Hallie sourced tile options for all of the spaces where tile was needed. And placed the options in each space. As we walked into each room, we loved every option she had picked for us.
2.Hallie is not only a designer, but also a very competent GC. Here is where this becomes very important. It is one thing if you are just choosing surface finishes but it takes it to another level when your designer can not only speak the language of the contractors but also bring construction value to the project. Example, we had laid out our master bathroom three times with our GC and Project Manager, and we weren’t in love with any of the options. Hallie took the dimensions and what we wanted in the space home with her over a weekend and on Monday, she presented us with the perfect Master Bath design.
3.Hallie is very personable and takes her projects very seriously. In fact, the descriptor, “bulldog”, was used to describe her a few times by our GC because she is an absolute advocate for her customer and the final vision. She was always very respectful of our ideas while expressing hers. Design is a very give and take process and Hallie does a fabulous job balancing this important aspect.
We are now moved into our revitalized and modernized home and we absolutely love every design and every finish. We are now working with Hallie and her partner Briar on new furniture in several key spaces. We highly recommend and endorse Hallie and 328 Design.

We worked with Hallie on a full first floor remodel including updating the kitchen, installing new flooring, new powder room, new master bath and built in cabinetry in the office. Hallie was wonderful to work with. She asked questions to determine our style and how we would use the space and came up with a design that exceeded our expectations. She listened to our ideas and came to us with ideas that pushed us appropriately. She completed the design and remodel while we lived out of state and did an excellent job. We had the confidence in her to complete this project while living over 700 miles away. She stayed within budget, and came up with creative cost effective ideas. She works with skilled contractors who are professional and provide quality work. We also worked with Hallie and Briar on furnishing our new home with furniture, rugs, artwork and accessories. We love our new home! We highly recommend Hallie and Briar and will definitely work with them for any future home projects.

I worked with Hallie on a full first floor remodel, including a full new kitchen, fireplace and bookshelf redesign, and new flooring. Every part of the experience was amazing and exceeded my high expectations. She asked for a few examples of what style I was looking for and designed a look that was precisely what I was looking for - she instantly knew my style better than I did! She made every part of the process smooth and seamless. Her attention to detail is outstanding as is her professionalism and taste. It was obvious that she has excellent relationships and repeat business with high caliber contractors who work hard to please her, and in turn, her customers. The process was smooth, on time, and right at budget. I also worked with Briar to choose new furniture, wall decor, and accessories and that was equally easy, pleasant, and excellent. I would highly recommend her, and will be hiring 328 for my next project!

She helped us convert two bedrooms and one existing bathroom into a master suite with a large walk in closet, master bathroom, and updated hallway bathroom. She gave us great options to choose from for our floor plan, created detailed designs that our contractors could refer to easily, and helped us pick out beautiful materials to use in the bathrooms. I would highly recommend working with her.

Hallie did a complete main floor remodel for us including a kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and living room. It was a huge project and turned out beautiful. We also used her company to help purchase our furniture after. The project was on time. It was over budget due to some unexpected costs, but Hallie was able to make up some of the money on other items. I would highly recommend her!

Hallie was really great to work with and created a beautiful space for us that is updated and feels bigger and more functional. She provided ideas and direction when needed as well as many options to create something that fit with our style and taste. Because of the busy schedule of our family, it was so nice to have just one person to work with as the point to coordinate all the individual contractors as well as provide them direction. The only reason we give 4 instead of 5 stars is that there were a couple issues and confusion with one or two contractors/vendors. We realize that remodels never go exactly as expected and timelines often extend past what is forecast, but a couple of these issues we felt were avoidable. All the other contractors she works with were very friendly and produced high quality work. While we had to give up a couple things on our wish list to have a designer help us and stay within budget, it was well worth it and something we would do again. We would definitely recommend 328 Design Group to anyone looking to do some remodeling in their home.

Working with Hallie (and her father-in-law, Steve) was a true pleasure. Hallie has a wonderful eye both for layout and for interior design, and she is able to take even the strangest configurations and imagine them into functional spaces that maximize the space. Not to mention that Hallie and Steve are just genuinely nice people to work with. They have good hearts, are professionals, truly want the best for their clients, and work tirelessly to make that happen, even in the crazy building climate of Denver! Furthermore, the process of finding good contractors and collecting bids is such a headache; knowing that Hallie has good relationships with her contractors and gives them a steady stream of work (and therefore they not only have to make YOU happy, they also have to make HER happy) and being able to leave that process to her was such a relief. In particular, the trim carpenter (Matt), electricians, tile, and hardwood guys she works with were fantastic. If I could, I'd give Hallie a 4.5 rating because I think there are some things that could have gone a little more smoothly, but I'm rounding up because the finished product turned out beautifully.
Overall, our experience working with Hallie and her contractors was good. At times we wished there had been a bit more communication and that Hallie (or a GC) were able to make site visits more frequently. There were certainly a few times where a contractor took a shortcut, only for us to discover it later on and ask for it to be corrected. In one example, the ceiling of our new shower had to be framed out I think three times before they got it right. Though they did get it right, it could have been a much quicker process if someone had been on-site to take control of the situation sooner. In the end, though, Hallie and team were able to resolve everything and deliver a beautiful finished product.
A note on timeline: We started the project in May 2017 and it was supposed to be about an 8-10 week timeline, finishing up in mid-to-late July. We ended up not wrapping up the bulk of the project until about mid-September, with the last loose ends not getting tied up until mid-October. I think Hallie did everything in her control to keep us on schedule (and some of her contractors would even come in on the weekends), so it is not really something that I fault her for; it’s more a product of the very busy construction climate in Denver right now. This is more just a word of warning to anyone doing construction right now to keep your timeline expectations in check!
All in all, for anyone who is looking to do a remodel and wants the benefits of a design-build firm, without as high of a premium price tag, Hallie and her team are fantastic and I would happily recommend them. We LOVE our upstairs floor and know that it would be nowhere near as beautiful without Hallie's design and management; I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.

We live in Colorado Springs, and built a new home between 2015 and 2016. We had a general contractor, but were looking for someone who understood our style to help us select all of our finishes. We could not seem to find a local designer who matched our taste, so we discovered Hallie after looking at her portfolio and reading her reviews on this website. We are so glad we chose her!
Hallie helped us select everything from tile, flooring, lighting, paint color, appliances, fixtures, you name it. She even redrew some of the design plans in the kitchen, front entry and master bed to make the space more intuitive and livable. My husband and I have somewhat different tastes (his, more masculine and contemporary, mine, a little softer and more transitional), but Hallie was able to blend them together in a way that made perfect sense. Her selections were thoughtful and tailored to what we liked, because she really listened to what we said we were looking for and how we wanted to feel in our space. She was very patient when we were stuck in indecision, and was always ready with a suggestion or option when we didn't know where to start.
Hallie was flexible in her schedule, which was great considering she is in the Denver area and we are in the Springs. We mostly met her in Denver, but that was because the selections were better than in the Springs. She was always available by email and phone, and I don't think she ever took more than 24 hours to respond to a message.
After we finished our house in late 2016/early 2017, we realized we needed someone to help us furnish and decorate! Thankfully Hallie had begun working with Michelle by then, so we called them right up! We just finished doing the upstairs of our home in October, 2017,, and will be contacting 328 Design Group when we are ready to start work on the downstairs and outdoor area.
Working with Michelle on the interior design was so fun and easy. This woman was MADE to decorate homes. It really is an art form for her! She helped us with furniture, bedding, art and accents, and she did an amazing job. Everything she chose is so unique; she even brought back some pillows from Turkey just for us! Michelle was so responsive to questions and concerns, and has the patience of a saint. Like Hallie, she tailored her suggestions and choices to specific things we said about wanting a home that is beautiful, comfortable and animal friendly!
I cannot say enough about these two wonderful women! I hope they post pictures soon!

Excellent design and material selection, would highly recommend Hallie to design any space and recommend finishes.
Hallie was very good at managing the project behind the scenes (hiring, scheduling, negotiating, ordering, facilitating change requests, maintaining a general budget, etc.)
When we were disappointed in sub-contractor work, Hallie always attempted to address the problems, but not always to our satisfaction.
As her business matures, we recommend that Hallie hire a general contractor that would be more available to supervise the onsite renovation as we felt she was not always available for consultation and issue mitigation, resulting in delays and mistakes.
Overall, it was a very large, complex, and expensive renovation and we are happy with the results.

We kind of stumbled upon Hallie through a mutual connection and are so glad we did. We did a major remodel of the main living space in our Centennial tri-level and couldn't be happier with the results. We truly wouldn't change anything that we did! She presented us 3 reconfiguration options that were all great. Hallie was instrumental in guiding us through all the design choices and options we were faced with. Having her manage all the contractors left us with the fun stuff of selections and watching it all come together. I also must add that everyone we talked to said to expect delays in the schedule but Hallie hit almost every milestone and we were done with the project basically on time. There were a couple mis-communications but all in all a great job. The value we received from Hallie and 328 Design was worth every penny. We are the Emerson Ct. house by the way.

We took on a major renovation of our 1950s ranch - something we'd dreamt of doing for 9 years since purchasing the home. We could not be happier with the outcome, down to the last detail. Both my wife and I think Hallie did an excellent job of managing our remodel project. Specifically, she proposed several design options, outlined the scope of work, provided an estimate of costs, scheduled and managed all of the subcontractors, and handled problems which were few and minor. Our project was completed on schedule, and during the work we communicated easily and frequently by text, email, and in person. She quickly responded to and answered questions we had. She guided our selection of materials and colors, and in virtually all cases the process was, "Hallie, what would you recommend?" And our response was, "Okay, will go with that." We would definitely seek her help in future projects and would give our highest recommendation to others.

We highly recommend Hallie. She was able to take a space in a 1950's ranch that was greatly underutilized and add great function and style. With her design, we added a new bath, walk-in closet, and gave an existing bath a face list. Hallie designed the space for us as well as managed the entire project. She is a creative, innovative and talented designer who managed our kitchen remodel project from beginning to end. Hallie delivered a wonderful new kitchen that continues to receive rave reviews from our friends for its layout, look and functionality.
After meeting with us and listening to what we wanted to accomplish, Hallie took our list of requirements and created 3 outstanding design options that met our desire to remove walls and integrate a formal dining room and kitchen area into one functional, flowing space. All of the design options, which were well thought out and innovative, transformed these two areas into a beautiful kitchen that functions and provides the warm, inviting environment we wanted.
Additionally, Hallie delivered this kitchen remodel on time (i.e., it was completed prior to Thanksgiving), despite the other projects she was leading and under budget. In fact, well under our max budget that we discussed with her during our first meeting. What more could you ask for? She was there every step of the way, communicating with us and keeping us informed on the progress. What we valued most was that Hallie was extremely responsive and never too busy to answer our questions. Hallie provided tremendous guidance throughout the 8 weeks.
We have been in our new kitchen almost six months now. We love it and really enjoy having family and friends over to share it with us. Simply put, Nancy and I would not change a thing.
Let me leave you with this thought which we share with everyone who asks about our project - Of all the decisions we made prior to and during this remodel, the most important one that provided the biggest return on our investment was to hire Hallie Veith from 328 Design Group to lead the project.

I highly recommend Hallie Veith from 328 Design. I found her on Angie's List and I could not be happier. She is professional, smart, resourceful, patient, hard working and produces beautiful results. She designed and managed a large kitchen remodel for me that involved removing several load-bearing walls and installing beams. She came up with 4 good project design options, and helped me refine one to just the right approach. Then she prepared a project budget, got bids from good contractors that she had relationships with, scheduled and supervised the work, and guided me through selections for important finishes like light fixtures, paint, countertops, etc. She always responded quickly to both me and to her various contractors. She kept us all on schedule and I could not be happier with the finished product. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

We hired Hallie to redesign our kitchen for a full remodel. Initially we had a lot of different possibilities and she helped us narrow it down by drawing up three designs. A lot of work for her, but that really helped us choose the best option. She did an incredible job of visualizing our space and designing a beautiful and functional kitchen. We were particularly concerned with making the kitchen an efficient workspace. Hallie’s design added cabinet storage near our dishwasher, created an area for quick fridge/microwave access, enlarged our primary food prep area, and addressed a congested entryway issue. All this was achieved with less than 10% increase in the kitchen footprint. Her recommendations for materials updated the look of the kitchen while still keeping consistent with the age of our house and have also been low maintenance.
Hallie was always courteous and professional, met every deadline, and has even helped out with a few things after the project ended. She had seemingly limitless patience explaining her design rationale and incorporating our little “extras” as the project progressed. We’ve lived in our kitchen for almost a full year now and love it just as much as day one ~ a true testament to the quality of her work! Looking back on the project, hiring Hallie as our designer was the single best investment we made for our kitchen. Hire her, you won’t regret it.

We hired Hallie to do our major Main floor remodel including, moving (centering) a fireplace, tons of woodwork, jewels,railings and mantle. Opening up a loft area which included some structural changes. Wood floors, adding doorways and kitchen counters.
All of the people she brought in were incredible. The project was finished so fast. One day I had 5 different contractors here working on different parts of the project. She gets it done, and it looks fabulous. I would hire her again in a minute. Well worth the money.

We worked with 328 Design to remodel our master bedroom and bath. We trusted them from the beginning and were impressed with the quick response for each phase along the way. As every project can have unforeseen hiccups along the way, the hiccup we ran into was remedied in a very timely fashion. 328 Design respected our design style and gave awesome recommendations for all materials along the way. Overall I would describe our experience with 328 Design as equipping you with everything you need to complete a project in your house, without having to actually "swing the hammer" yourself.

Hallie Veith at 328 Desgin Group was recommended to us by a friend three years ago when we were looking for assistance choosing paint colors for a condo we were looking to sell. She did a great job matching color schemes to the condo design and was able to recommend a very talented and affordable painter to complete the job. We were so pleased with the first project we had her help us with, and had heard such great reviews on larger projects, that we immediately called her last year when we purchased a 1970’s home that was in desperate need of a complete remodel. The project was extensive, as we would be removing several walls (including the relocation of a load bearing wall), raising the floor, and ceiling, etc. and took about 6 months to complete. Hallie was knowledgeable about the entire process and kept us in the loop with budgets and timing from day one to the day we moved in.
She developed several very creative floor plans for us to choose from, each of which were well thought out and represented a living space that would be updated and functional, as well as add appeal to future buyers. Her vision for design and project management skills made working with Hallie a one-stop shop. Hallie handled all project management once we decided to move forward. It was such a relief to know that someone as capable as Hallie was overseeing our project and all of the subcontractors that were working in our home. Hallie has an exceptional set of subcontractors that she typically works with, all of which are very skilled and competitively priced. As with any project, there were hurdles to be crossed. Hallie was able to come up with solutions to each hurdle, which seemed even better than the original design. Her creativity and professionalism is unmatched and we will use Hallie in all of our future projects. We would highly recommend 328 Design Group to anyone needing design services, whether for simple projects or whole home renovations.

We had a very positive experience working with this designer. We moved our whole kitchen to another part of the house, tore down two walls & remodeled two bathrooms. Hallie drew up the plans with different options. She was very creative from the design, to color & even decorating. She was careful to understand what we wanted & guided us in that direction. She was always on time to appointments, always easy to get in touch with & we felt like she always had our back. We had a death in the family, in the middle of the project & we had to be out of town for a month. She kept the project going without a beat. We were in contact through the phone, email, texts, whatever it took. We knew that this project that we had invested so much time & money into was in good hands. We will be forever grateful to her for that! We were thrilled with how the job turned out.
