I had been wanting a barn door in my Cape house for a while. I luckily found Ray! He was easy to work with, responds quickly through email. I went to his shop and finalize the details. He had the door finished so quickly! Ray also installed it. I'm thrilled with the door and the paint finish. I hope I can work with him again. Thank you Ray!

I had a vision for barn doors for my laundry room. Ray brought it to life! He was very responsive via email and text. He was patient with all of my questions. His craftsmanship is supurb! I honestly got teary when he arrived to install my doors. And beyond that, he was able to come up with solutions to issues that arose on the fly! As a designer, I've been working with Ray Bachand at 60Nobscot for 7+ years and refer my clients to him all the time. Ray has crafted about a dozen pieces for my clients and they are all beautiful -- and conversation pieces to boot! Several times I have asked him to work with me to turn my visions into workable pieces and he has patiently helped bring them alive. His efforts are greatly appreciated. Ray also has a barn where he keeps some of his pieces and also showcases the work of other local artist and craftspeople. This has been a source for one-of-a-kind accessories for my clients. I have worked with Ray Bachand on a few projects but the office space in The Design Home 2012 was a fantastic collaboration. Ray is a skilled artisan whose vision and craftsmanship is exemplary.

Ray is a fabulous designer and sees the beauty that inherently lies in a piece of wood. He works with my clients to find the perfect rough hewn mantel, or to custom design garden furniture, or coffee table. He has excellent taste that compliments both New England traditional homes, offices and contemporary interiors.

I've long admired the work of 60nobscot. I recently had the opportunity to visit the workshop and barn where much is displayed - its hard not to buy everything! Ray is a skilled craftsman and I always look forward to seeing what he will produce next from his workshop.
