Ashley at Abode did such an amazing job redesigning our kitchen, dining room, and living room! She really listened to what we wanted and pulled everything together beautifully. The wine storage wall is hands-down our favorite feature, and the exposed beam with the stone finishes adds so much character to the space. Ashley made the whole process easy and fun, and we absolutely love how our home turned out. We will be working with Ashley and team again on any future design projects and highly recommend her to anyone who asks!

Embarking on a whole house remodel project is a lifetime event - let alone daunting for the average homeowner. If your mindset is that "Interior Design is opulent and beyond our means" you need to reset your priorities with "We need to do this right". The next thing to do is call Ashley and her team and you will look back on your project and ask how could we have done this without Abode? You need someone who by default is great with appliances, fixtures, and your chosen theme ... and this might be the easy part. You may not realize how important bridging into the technical (working drawings and construction knowledge) and integrating with your builder adds to the success of your project. Ashley provided drawings for cabinetry, kitchen, tile, and many custom built systems that became the common denominator between she, the builder/trades, and ourselves. And importantly, she was able to edit and give valuable input to the architectural design before our plans were submitted before permitting. We felt extremely comfortable with her recommendations, intuition, and process. Dependability was always present. Abode was there to help solve the tough issues that are always lurking and then celebrate the milestones.

We worked with Ashley Shields at Abode on a complete house remodel. Ashley was outstanding! she took the time to assess our needs and get a feel for our esthetic. Ashley then provided several ideas and sketched out several plans to suit our space. This was followed by several back and forth discussions until the designs we finalized. Ashley then assisted in our implementation of the plans with our contractor and provided several resources along the way to help with the final touches, e.g. appliances, tile, fixtures, countertops....etc. We could not be happier with the final outcome! On a personal note Ashley is very responsive, and a pleasure to work with. In short, we highly recommend Ashley and the team at Abode, and given the chance, we would work with them time and again.

Take a condo from the 80's and transform it into the 21st century. .Abode did it! Abode has provided outstanding professionalism, knowledge, work quality and ability to meet deadlines and budgets. A keen eye, great ability to provide taste level at appropriate pricepoints, combine with excellent communication skills. Many challenges came up throughout our project and Abode successfully adapted and devised very good alternative solutions. When guests enter my condo they now say "wow".

I worked with Ashley on a multi bathroom remodel. The spaces were tight and Ashley came up with some creative designs to use every inch of the bathroom. Working with a designer like Ashley makes our job "the builders" so much easier as she provides very detailed drawings for all aspects of the job. Her designs are creative and detailed, incorporating unique materials and keeping with the style of the owners. Ashley is responsive, detailed and hardworking. I would be happy to work on another project with her and would definitely recommend her.
