My husband and I have worked with several designers over the years. Gaye Ferrara of Ferraras Interiors is the first designer that really listened to what our needs and desires were for our home. Hello, I have worked with Gaye Ferrara off and on for about 20 years. My first house was totally decorated from top to bottom! I was absolutely thrilled with the results and marveled at the talent and imagination of Gaye Ferrara. When it came time to do another home, Gaye Ferrara was my first choice to do the decorating! After about ten years, since she decorated my first house, she was full of ideas for the new one. It turned out so beautiful and exactly as I wanted it. She is excellent with color and pulls a room together in the most amazing way. She has the ability to tweek something to make it the most amazing look possible! She is great all the way around. When she is done in your home, everyday that you walk through it ,over the years, you never tire of it. She is the most fabulous designer I have ever used and will ever use.

The challenge was to preserve the uncluttered, bright, and open feel of the house while simultaneously creating fun, cozy spaces we would look forward to spending time in. Gaye is a true Master of color and design. Even if a color choice sounds counterintuitive to you, trust her. She will be right! She listens closely, understands her clients' preferences, needs, and budget. Finally, she is just plain fun to work with. I am honored to write a review for Gaye Ferrara. Gaye started as a referral from a friend of a friend. We initially hired Gaye to remodel our 700 sq ft kitchen. We had to wait 3 months before she would begin our project, because she didn't want to overcommit herself, and wanted to be able to give our project the level of attention she wanted. On one level, we HATE waiting … but on another level we respected her for making us wait. During the kitchen remodel planning phase, our house flooded and a much larger 7000 sq ft remodel/renovation was required. We relied heavily on Gaye's expertise on floor plan, house layout, interior design, colors, furniture, art, and material choice. She was on the job site every day and kept the contractor and subcontractors on time and on track. She also managed my budget/accounting because my contractor was terrible at it, so she agreed to take it over. Gaye listened to my need for functionality and my husbands more grandiose vision for the house. Gaye somehow managed to find compromises that satisfied us both -- helping to save my marriage and sanity. I think that Gaye has amazing, elegant taste and a sophisticated sense of design. I appreciated that Gaye is practical and can find smart ways to economize. If I were to describe her…. I would say she is smart, organized, hardworking …. and for lack of a better word competent, which these days is often hard to find. She takes tremendous pride in her work, and takes ownership of the projects she is dedicated to. Gaye carefully picks the clients she works with. We are grateful she chose to work with us.
