Airoom helped transform the front of our house with a porch addition. The project included building out a new patio space, adding a roof with a gable, columns, new electrical outlets, and new lighting. We could not be happier with the process or the outcome!

We recently completed our fourth renovation project with Airoom. Our projects have ranged in scope and size from a complete kitchen renovation and family room addition to a five window replacement project but all of our projects were completed with the same attention to detail. In each case our renovation projects were completed on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations. The common denominator with each renovation experience was Marv Warner. From concept to completion Marv was with us every step of the way. He took a personal interest in all of our projects and with his knowledge and expertise, gave us the confidence that the outcome would exceed our expectations - which it always did. Our latest project featured the installation of five replacement windows on our main floor. We contacted Marv last October to discuss the project. Marv responded to our request immediately. He visited our home, accompanied by his installer, Cyrus, to take measurements and discuss options. We communicated our tight timeline and our desire to have the installation completed before Thanksgiving. Despite manufacturer supply issues, Marv was able to expedite our order and arrange for the windows to be shipped directly to our home. Shortly after the windows arrived, Cyrus arrived on the scene to begin installation. Cyrus is the consummate professional! He is polite and friendly and extremely professional. He is a true craftsman with endless knowledge and expertise. He was a pleasure to have in our home during the two day installation and we look forward to working with him again soon. Our project was completed ten days ahead of schedule and the windows operate smoothly and look fantastic. Each time we’ve partnered with Airoom they’ve made us feel like our project is the most important project on their schedule. That’s because of folks like Marv and Cyrus and their colleagues at Airoom who have taken a personal interest and invested themselves in the satisfaction and outcome of our projects. Airoom did a great job on an exterior remodel and addition to our home. Our architect-designer, Marty, was accessible throughout the project, as was Gina, who helped with materials selection. Our project was completed 8 years ago and we are still so happy with the work that was done. We’ve only had a few small issues since then, and Airoom has been very responsive. Ray is great to work with, answering my questions and educating me too all while addressing the issues at hand. My wife and I just completed our first home expansion and remodel with Airoom. Airoom delivered an exceptional product and delivered it ahead of schedule. At the outset of the project, our designer Dudley Bandy was a rockstar who visualized in a 3-dimensional computer rendering an incredible kitchen, living room, family room, playroom, and dry bar with a beautiful, modern, and cohesive aesthetic. During the construction phase, the quality of work was consistently outstanding. Towards the end of the project in particular, Airoom made an extra effort to hit deadlines. Specifically, Joe Kozlowski, our project superintendent, worked well into the night to ensure we were either on schedule or ahead of it. When any issue arose, our production manager Aaron Rushing was always available to discuss, evaluate, and resolve it. His subject matter expertise was always apparent and impressive and his dedication to our project was obvious and greatly appreciated. Overall we're incredibly happy with the result. Airoom brought a level of passion and professionalism that is rare in this industry. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Airoom again.

Airoom was wonderful to work with some start to finish for a pretty major 3 month kitchen remodel that we (luckily) lived through. The project stayed within scope AND timeline. Our project manager, Robert Moberg, was great at keeping us updated throughout the project and accommodating our schedule, when needed. We are thrilled with the finished product and highly recommend Airoom!

We are very happy with our Airoom kitchen. Went from a traditional living room / dining room / kitchen layout to an expanded kitchen and separate dining room. We knew expertise and experience would be needed, so we chose Airoom. Absolutely worth the investment. Their planning included the small details we would have never considered; such as cabinet placement, optimized spacing and appliance recommendations. We would recommend if you're planning major remodel.

We recently remodeled our 2 bathrooms both at the same time! We used Revive bathrooms which is a division of Air Room. It was a pleasure working with Yvonne Dabney (designer) and Robert Moberg (superintendent) The design process was complex to say the least and Yvonne was a professional all the way. Her creativity combined with ours resulted in a spectacular design. Her knowledge of the industry and materials available to us was amazing. She was willing to depart from the ordinary in order to create a really unique look. Robert is the epidemy of patience! He always reacted quickly to our concerns and was in constant communication.....day and night. His knowledge of the trade was very reassuring and when presented with a problem he always responded with "I have an idea!". And indeed, he always did. We live in a condo in the city and he understands how to navigate the often cumbersome condo rules and regulations. I highly recommend this firm. I know we will use them again. A kitchen, a bathroom or any remodel in general, these are our "go to" choice

I've hired Airoom to do a house renovation. I'm working with Kyle S and Dudley B, who have been great so far. There are a couple of distinct advantages to how they work--budget estimates are expected to be spot on and construction timeline is guarantee. They have appliances in their showroom, and price match, so you can shop around all you want, but you can also just get it done in one stop. As a high volume firm, I'm expecting that economies of scale make this the most affordable way to go. Kyle and Dudley are wiling to go above and beyond to service the project. Kyle is helping me put together a home theater system for instance even though he was brought on as the door and window expert. There are some tricky design elements to this project and I'm expecting the Airoom team's design chops are up to the task, expecting the highest attention to detail, fit, finish, and completion. Dudley is making sure the garage and roof are perfect. We're entering the design development phase soon (Airoom has their own terminology for things--they call this Preconstruction Conference). We'll be working with a kitchen and bathroom designer who specializes in modern design, which is perfect for us. Kyle and Dudley have assured me that I'll be very happy with the final result--I trust them!

We have contracted with Airoom to finish our basement with an anticipated completion date of April 2019. Thus far working with Airoom, I have been impressed by the superb organization. Appointments have been made in a timely fashion, with handy calendar appointment email reminders. Kyle Shouse was assigned as our project development manager, and we have sincerely enjoyed working with him. We really appreciate how thoughtful he has been with our design, incorporating some details based on our discussions that we hadn't even considered. He is very personable, follows up with any questions/issues, and is very prompt. He has been able to accommodate our busy schedule, which we appreciate. Although our initial quote for the project was higher than what we planned on spending, they were able to make some changes and have come in at our targeted price point. I certainly anticipate that the excellent service will continue throughout the duration of our project; however, I will update the review after its completion.

We recently completed a kitchen renovation with Airoom. We were extremely pleased with Airoom and thrilled with how they transformed our kitchen into a beautiful new space! We worked with an amazing team of professionals at Airoom- including Marv Warner, our Senior Project Manager, Gina Bon our Kitchen and bathroom designer, and Les Samuel our Field Superintendent. They were creative, very experienced and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy! I highly recommend Airoom and will use them again for our next big project!

We've been working with Airoom since the summer and they've been extremely helpful and highly professional as we've progressed through the Project Development process. Marv Warner (our Senior Project Manager) and Marty Meadow (our Project Development Manager / Designer) have been a pleasure to work with and they've done a great job coming up with a design that meets our family's specific needs. Their extensive experience has already proven to be a tremendous asset; not only in the design phase, but also in addressing new issues as they arise. As I'm sure there will be more surprises along the way, it's reassuring to know Marv and Marty will be there to help us work through them.

This is our second project with Airoom. We worked with Kyle Shouse who did an excellent job bringing our project ideas to life. We were extremely happy with the design and planning work that he did. The company did a great job working with us on all elements of design and building. They were very detailed oriented and were obviously very interested in ensuring the final project is exactly what we want

The project: Second floor - two new location bathrooms and remodel of three bedrooms. Third floor - bedroom and bathroom remodel. Removal of 1st to 2nd floor service staircase and reconfiguration of 2nd to 3rd floor staircase to meet code. HVAC install for 3rd floor. Total time: Initial verbal agreement of 6-7 months; Contracted for 8 months. Project took well over 14 months. Our first payment was Jan 2015, Airoom's last visit was spring 2018. Three years since 1st payment and still having problems with work performed (and paying other contractors to fix the issues to this day). Airoom architects failed on basics. Multiple redesigns and at least 7 work schedules extending timeline of project more than double initially quoted. Four superintendents worked on the job (too many other projects, fired, quit Airoom) . We continue to have trades in to fix the work Airoom has done. *Response to Airoom: First, our third party project manager was hired to counteract Airoom’s mismanagement. Your issues had nothing to do with him. Also, it’s “stunning” that 1891 roof lines seen from the interior and exterior are considered “unanticipated pre-existing conditions.” That is not unanticipated, it is incompetency. Secondly, we contacted Airoom several times after the HVAC was installed. No one returned our calls.

Our experience has been a very positive one. Working with the Airoom team that is accommodating and sensitive to our needs. What a concept! A one stop shop. Starting with their show room that you never want to leave and just move in. Then we meet Lynda Oertel our Project Development Manager. We couldn't have met someone special and knowledgeable to our needs. She was straightforward with the design and the budget. Our next stop was with Pam Morris our Kitchen and bathroom designer. Very experience with all the cabinets style and layouts, has an amazing mind in transforming a basic kitchen into a dream kitchen. Our last stop with Marv Warner our Senior Project Manager in charge of final design and selections. I see why he's so valuable to this company, he puts his game face on and thinks of all the details that you just do not see.Each stage of the job layout and detail was very informative.Did not feel rushed, he wanted everything to be perfect. I'm so happy we picked this wonderful company Airoom and cant wait to see the final results.

We have been working on our Kitchen remodel with Airoom for 2 months now and it could not be going any better. Everyone we have worked with so far from our initial Project Mgr(Dudley Bandy) to our Sr Project Mgr(Marv Warner) and out Kitchen/Bathroom Designer (Gina Bon) has been very professional. They are great to work with because they listened to what we wanted first. Because they truly listened they are able to offer suggestions/opinions that have been right on the mark for us. I can't wait until our Kitchen is done because of the hard work Airoom has put into it. I would (and have) highly recommend Airoom to anyone.

Our experience with Airoom was very positive. We had used them for a family room project 22 years ago and were pleased with the process and results so when was time to remodel our kitchen, we called on them again. We have also hired them to remodel one of our bathrooms. Our designer, Pam, was fantastic, helping us pick out patterns and colors that matched and worked with what we envisioned. She also steered us away from ideas we had that wouldn't have worked well. Our supervisor, Les, was great to work with. He kept us up to date on when workers would be at our house and when supplies would be delivered. He always answered our texts and emails in a timely fashion. The materials used in the project were high quality. Be prepared to pay more than the contract estimate if you want any upgrades.

The design process was easy and everyone was great to work with. Very detailed and walked us through each step, terrific.

It’s been wonderful working with Airoom on our kitchen addition/renovation thus far. The professional design group worked seamlessly to make the process stress free by communicating with us and each other! They really are a great team that took the time to get to know us and what we wanted to accomplish. Michael Adam, Project Development Manager, had an incredible vision for our space that completely met the needs of our family. Our Project Manager, Marv Warner, guided us through all the details with his knowledge and expertise. And Pam Morris, Kitchen & Bath Designer, brought the vision to life with her amazing design talent and patience to help us select beautiful finishes that fit our lifestyle. We have been completely impressed and satisfied with the process and look forward to the construction phase which has just begun.

We loved working with Airoom. Initially they assigned us a superintendent we didn't like, and they immediately assigned us a new one. He was great -- his name is Tom Schneiderwind. He is super-attentive and very organized. Once when I commented to him that one of the workers he used for drywall was messy, he had his cleaning crew out to our house within 2 days. He really wants the job done right and not to just get it done. The only downside to working with Airoom, I would say, is that your selection of brands/materials is limited to the brands that they work with. This makes the selection process easier, but they may not have exactly what they want. For example, we wanted a specific type of lock on our front door which they didn't have. Tom worked with us to get it done but it was just a little more complicated. The best part about using Airoom is that they take customer feedback very seriously and really vet the actual workers doing work on your home. They are also very flexible if you want things changed after you make the initial plans.

Prior to engaging with Airoom, we met with other remodeling companies, but Airoom separated itself from the pack with its honest and open approach. Airoom provided us with customized plans to meet our remodeling objectives. During our project, we worked closely with Marv Warner, our Senior Project Manager, and Gina Bon, our kitchen and bathroom designer. Marv and Gina are an incredible team and walked us through every detail of our project. Over the course of our selection meetings, both Marv and Gina provided us with valuable input on design alternatives and selections for our home. We are so glad we picked Airoom and appreciate their attention to detail and quality work product.

We contracted with Airoom to update our 30+ year old Sleepy Hollow home. We wanted substantial changes that required the services of multiple professionals and were not prepared to navigate the design/ construction process without help. During our initial 3+ hour onsite consult (at no charge) we walked through our needs and wants with Designer Dudley Bandy. His enthusiasm and insight built on our love for our home and opened up a variety of options that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. We had established a budget and Dudley came back with a plan that we loved... and a clear and predictable path to achieve it. At that point we committed to moving forward with Airoom. We worked with Kitchen Designer, Pam Morris, and Senior Project Manager, Marv Warner, as we drilled into the details of moving walls, placing appliances and making sure our new space would be as functional as it was exciting. Pam helped us sort through the myriad options for appliances, cabinetry and design features for our new kitchen. We spent several days with her making sure our kitchen would be just what we wanted. Marv marshaled the expertise of architectural, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and plumbing gurus to insure all of the systems worked in the new configuration. Coordinating with the various experts to make the changes we wanted was a major concern. He kept a sharp eye on possible additional expenses for unexpected work. Lastly, the initial planning process progressed on schedule which is important to us.

I’m thrilled with Airoom! We worked with them for all for 2017 for a major renovation to our home including the kitchen and three bathrooms. From the design process to the final inspection, I found all of Airoom’s employees to be (1) professional in how they worked with me; (2) knowledgeable in their respective areas of expertise; and (3) resourceful in their abilities to seek out creative solutions to issues as they arose. My husband and I both work long hours, and we were nervous about taking on a large project like this, as we’ve all heard renovation horror stories. It was great to have all the designers, architects, project managers/contractors, and tradesman in house, as that allowed for a steady channel of communication. The end result is exactly what my husband and I wanted. Thank you, Airoom, for helping us turn our house into our family home.

We just finished the design process with Robyn Rue and Greg Moon, and Dudley Bandy. Dudley created a beautiful and responsive concept plan after meeting with us at our home. His enthusiasm for our project is contagious and authentic, and the plan reflected our priorities. He was a presence throughout the transition to Robyn and Greg, making communication seamless and thorough. Robyn and Greg attended to all aesthetic and functional details, working with us to make sure our project is both beautiful and functional. Notably, Robyn provided a clear designer's opinion while explicitly respecting our style. Because she stated her opinions clearly, we were able to make good decisions that reflected our aesthetic. Greg provided excellent suggestions that fit both our taste and our budget. Kristin Iverson held it all together, coordinating our meetings with efficiency and warmth. We've had an excellent experience with all aspects of project planning and are packing up our house confident that the next stages will be as warm and seamless as the initial planning stages have been.

My husband and I hired Airoom to bump out and remodel our kitchen in 2014. To this day, I marvel at how beautiful and functional the new space is, and how it has transformed our home. Kevin Hardin, the architect who came to our home, devised an original floor plan that would maximize our space within our budget. Gina Bon's expertise as our kitchen designer was evident as she guided us through choosing our cabinetry and the lay out of the kitchen. As we worked with Marv Warner, the Senior Project Manager, we knew we were in good hands. Marv had all the answers and plenty of smart suggestions as well. I remember my uncertainty about how much lighting we would need and Marv's knowledge and confidence put me at ease immediately. Finally, I cannot say enough about Tom Schneiderwind, our Field Superintendent. His timing was impeccable. There was little to no delay between phases of the project so the kitchen was finished ahead of schedule! He was readily available for any questions we had and was very comfortable to work with. Since then, Airoom has impressed us with its customer service. We had two small concerns and Airoom was right there to take care of them. What a relief it was to know that we had chosen a company who stood by its work!

December 2017 “I am posting a 5 Star review of Airoom”. We are very impressed with the work that the employees of Airoom did, in the design, and construction, and project management of our exterior renovation of our home in Carol Stream, Illinois. It’s beautiful. Besides the great outcome, we also appreciated the journey through the project, and the skills and talents of the people we dealt with, and the back office such as the architects, supply chain people, and of course the suppliers (James Hardie Company – a big shout out!), and the rest. We started with Steve Cohn, who met with us and ‘carved out ideas’ for the transformation of the exterior. He added many features which we really liked, and always responded to us when we had questions, or wanted to add things. We then met with Marvin Warner, Senior Project Manager, who put together the project plan, and followed the timeline to completion. It was done early! Completion was managed ‘on site’ by the field superintendent, Tom Schneiderwind, who was very patience with us, when we wanted to add things to the project. It’s really a great team. When Karen and I are sitting on the new porch that they built, and people walk by, we are always hearing how beautiful the house looks. It’s always a feel good to hear this. We started our project by contacting a few companies to have our 1 bathroom rebuilt. After a visit from Dudley Bandy, we decided to have our 2 bathrooms and kitchen rebuilt. From the moment we met Dudley he made us feel comfortable and it was as though we were lifelong friends. My husband and I were skeptical at first because we couldn't believe what they sketched for our project would actually work, but it really did. Gina Bon and Marv Warner assisted with our design and project, they all did a wonderful professional job. Margaret assisted with our financing, which was so helpful. Les Samuel was our Field Superintendent and oversaw everything that was done. He was very detail oriented and said many times "I won't accept the work if it's not as good as I would want it in my own home". I work from home and there were many people in my house almost daily for about 8 months. Every person they contracted were completed respectful and left my house at the end of the day as clean as they possibly could. There were some issues that came up but, like unexpected cost and it did take longer than expected to complete; however, when the project was complete we couldn't have been happier. Even after the project we've had some little issues that came up (like small cracks due to the house settling) where we required to use our warranty and each time we call there is no problem having someone come by to fix anything we need. We love our new Kitchen and Bathrooms and when our friends and family come over we receive nothing but great compliments. I would not hesitate to contact Airoom for any future projects we may have and would highly recommend them.

Airoom overall was GREAT!! Their design team was very detailed and came up with a beautiful design for our addition. Lead by Doug he was simply the best and was able to give us pretty much what we were looking for. The costs were more than we thought (that usually happens) Craig, our on sight project manager, was great and was always there for us when we needed anything. Robin our designer was first rate and knew what we wanted and the look that we were trying to accomplish. The quality of work seems to be very good so far. The only thing that would be improved is there follow up in the warrantee department. We are having some minor issues and sometimes it is hard to get answers in a timely manner. Overall, again we are very happy with the work. You get what you pay for!!

We have used Airoom for two large remodel projects. With the first one, we basically rebuilt our entire house (save the basement) and added over one-thousand square feet. We added new electric, plumbing, windows, HVAC, floors, etc. - pretty much everything you can think of. The second one was a complete re-do of the basement (now called the lower level). That was a total gut job as well. So, it is safe to say our house is really an 'Airoom' house - despite being originally built in 1946 by Hemphill. I can't say enough about the quality of the design/build side of this team. We used them twice for BIG projects. That should be 'enough said'. And it would be, but what's equally important is how they stand by their work. Even now, eight years later, they are still 'right there' with excellent customer care, urgency and follow through. We had a small issue with an attic furnace leaking some humidifier water recently. We called Airoom hoping they would be able to help troubleshoot the issue since they installed the unit eight years ago. Not only were they prompt in returning my call, I got a call from the owner himself. How often does that happen? Can't think of any other organization that would have, 1) jumped on this quickly and 2), stood by their work, even this far out from initial build. Mike Klein and Linda Ciaccio, you are the best! Thanks for building such an excellent, customer centric organization. Anybody remotely considering Airoom for their project should stop talking to other firms and sign with the Airoom team - not just for the build, but for the long term support/warranty.

Without a doubt, Craig and the Airoom team were second to none in thoroughness, reliability, and professionalism in our 12+ month, mother-in-law suite renovation project. If you are looking for a team to handle your project from start to finish and ensure that no stone is left unturned, Airoom is the one-stop shop you are looking for. Renovation projects are going to challenge your pocket book, your patience, and your soul. Airoom delivers the transparency in billing, the flexibility in scheduling and, the support you need to make renovations as painless as possible. Our team lead Craig covered every detail of our home renovation project and took it a step further by supporting our family throughout this challenging time. Our family chose to renovate with one spouse deployed in the US Army, another working full time and supporting aging parents (one with dementia), kids, and multiple pets. Helping out with the pets, mail, adjusting the scheduling, making every effort to support the needs of the family to make things work are just a few examples of the “standard package” that you receive from your Airoom team. Then there is the work! The custom craftsmanship is nothing short of amazing. Voytek is a mastermind and his ability to make 1950’s engineering match perfectly with new installations is a thing of beauty. Not only is the work flawless but you have the assurances and backing of warranties that Airoom backs. If something goes wrong, they are here to resolve it- no questions asked. Renovations are never an easy process. However, you can partner with a firm who will simplify and eliminate as much pain and discomfort as possible. I can honestly say that our renovation process was enjoyable and that is a direct result of Craig and the team at Airoom.

Airoom redesigned and renovated the entire first floor of our house. It was a major renovation for us- we created an open floor plan by reconfiguring and completely redoing our kitchen, and adding a much needed mud room. Dudley Bandy came up with a great plan after many conversations and visits. He truly listened to our needs and came up with a design that works for our family. As with any renovation in an older home, unexpected costs came up, but the Airoom team worked with us to prioritize our needs and were fair with their cost assessments. Our project took five months total and we were inconvenienced as little as possible. Tom Schneiderwind, our project manager, was a very nice guy to work with (we got along great), was conscious of our needs with small children, and the crew was respectful and did quality work. Tom took time each week to send us an update and let us know what was going to be done the upcoming week. He was prompt in responding to our many questions and changes we wanted to make. We are so happy with the final product and highly recommend Airoom.

After interviewing multiple firms and architects, we chose to use Airoom for our home addition and subsequent window replacement, and that was definitely the best decision for multiple reasons: 1. Kevin Hardin was the only architect to design our 3-story addition within our budget that included everything on our wish list. His design was far more innovative than the other designs we received. 2. The entire Airoom group was professional, always available and patiently answered all questions that we had throughout each phase from design through completion. Their coordination of the sub-contractors was always timely and thorough. 3. For the addition, we worked with Marv Warner (project manager), Gina Bon (cabinet design), and Scott Cole (superintendent) and the project was completed impeccably- on time and on budget despite starting late because of heavy rains that postponed digging the new foundation. They also accommodated our health and safety concerns so that the construction zone was completely separated from the rest of our house. The addition is completely seamless to the original house, and we love it! 4. When we came back to Airoom several years later asking if they could take on a smaller project of replacing the rest of the windows in our house to match the addition, they worked with us without hesitation. This went so smoothly that we literally have no recollection of when they were actually here doing the work! We worked with Marv Warner again, Steve Cohn and Tom Schneiderwind. We worked with Airoom to design and build our new house and moved in in August 2017. Working with a company involved in all stages of the build made the process seamless and ensured our priorities were communicated clearly throughout. The Airoom designers really understood our style and helped us design a cohesive house that works well for our family. Our project manager (Tom S.) during the build was was wonderful to work with. He kept us up to date on everything happening and his attention to detail ensured that the end product was something we could all be proud of. We love our new house and highly recommend Airoom.

We didn’t know where to begin when we were looking into remodeling our home. We went with three different companies to get our estimates, and Airoom was far and away the most professional and exciting company to work with. Heather Sherrell came to our house and immediately put both of us at ease and got us pumped about the possibilities for our project. She added to our ideas and came up with much more savvy ways of using the limited amount of space we had to work with. A short time later, we went to the Airoom showroom(which is amazing) and Heather showed us a 3D rendering of the plans her and the Airoom team came up with. It was SO COOL and informative. They also broke down the costs, process, and timeline of the project and made everything clear to understand. While we decided not to go through with the project due to unforeseen circumstances, we have and will continue to recommend Heather Sherrell and Airoom to any friends and family that are considering a home renovation project.

We are extremely satisfied with the workmanship, professionalism of all the people we dealt with, and the finished product of the major kitchen/family room remodel we had Airoom do for us. We began working with designer, Julie Ondo, who was able to quickly put the vague ideas we had for turning our 70's design into a much more functional space for our present needs. She sketched an idea we never thought of...removed a built-in desk we never used, changed the entrance to the dining room, put in a built-in hutch we love, and opened the crowded area to become a more useful one. We extended the kitchen behind the garage, took out a half wall to the family room, extending it a foot with a lovely arched entrance, and now have a large, open area suitable for family get-togethers. We then met with Marv Warner, senior project manager, and Pam Morris, kitchen designer, on every aspect of the project before any work was even begun. Pam took us through every detail imaginable so that our kitchen fits our needs exactly. We have lived with it for 2 years and there is not a thing I would change! She even specially designed a corner cupboard to fit the parameters we encountered so there would be no wasted space. Marv went over the extensive blueprints with us, plotting every outlet and switch, every fixture and doorway, etc., so that we knew exactly where everything would go, but more importantly, so did the workers. That way, we were never asked to make a last minute decision which I really appreciated. Our supervisor, Tom Schneiderwind, was a godsend! He kept us informed about which contractors would be at the house and when we could expect them (important since we lived upstairs during the construction). He also showed up most days to see how things were coming along or at least checked in with us. At the end of each day, the crew left the area as clean as it was possible to be, and they put up temporary walls and/or plastic sheeting to keep out as much dust as possible. We couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of people to work with...everyone was friendly, helpful and a joy to know! Some may feel that Airoom is on the expensive side, but we feel you get what you pay for. Their guarantee on workmanship that is transferable was an added perk.

We hired Airoom to reconfigure our entire 1st level into an open plan, combing a new kitchen, dining and living room. There are basically 3 "teams/phases" we worked with--sales/design, production/construction planning and the field team. Working with sales/design team was challenging. While the team captured what we were looking for, but the ideas/wants were not always captured in their written specifications. My advice for working with this team is to document, document, document everything that was discussed and make sure all parties agree to the specs/changes, expectations. For this team I would only rate them a 3. As for the 2nd team, Gina Bon and Greg Moon were fantastic and thorough in helping us with the actual planning of the project. They took the time to review our ideas, options and finishes, as well as walk us through the preliminary construction documents (CDs) to make sure what we wanted was on paper. We did encounter some discrepancies with the CDs we signed off on and the actual jobsite construction documents. Again, with good documentation, we found Airoom did honor and correct any discrepancies without hesitation. The 3rd phase or field team, I would rate them a 5 given the option to rate separately. Our project manager, Brett Fessler, was professional, knowledgeable, conscientious and thorough. Kept us inform every step of the way. Many times went above and beyond what he was hired to do. We truly felt he was our partner and had our best interests at all times. He definitely understood the importance and passion we had for this project. In addition, the personnel from the various trades hired by Airoom were professional and very good at their trade. We encounter very little poor quality work by these trades. The few we did encountered were corrected immediately. Because of the pride these trades exhibit with their work, some things were corrected without us even have to address them. While Airoom is not cheap, but the project management of the work is definitely worth the money. Overall I would recommend this company.

We had a great experience with Airoom. We found the entire experience to be very transparent. We made a slight change after work had begun (added built-ins) and they had us sign a change order so we knew how much extra it would be. There was a hiccup about halfway through the project when the superintendent left the project but they were on it right away and set us up with a new super so there wasn’t any lag in progress. We’ve been enjoying our renovated basement for about eight months now and haven’t had any problems. Highly recommend.

After literally years of deliberating over a kitchen remodel to our 1907 prairie style home, we selected Airoom based upon overwhelmingly positive remarks from a neighbor who used them for an addition. We could not have been happier with our choice. This was a relatively complicated job involving relocating walls, working with 100 year old wiring and plumbing, and taking all of the walls and floors down to studs and joists. IE. we would not have undertaken this project without a high degree of trust in Airoom. There were also multiple design issues in finding the balance between modern functionality and remaining true to the period of the home. The first visit was from sales / design specialist Betsy Burton who drew up rough design plans and provided a cost estimate. We then met with Marv Warner, Sr. Proj. Manager who added more detail as to the mechanical aspects of the job (electrical, lighting, plumbing, flooring, etc.). Then the fun part - we spent nearly 12 full hours with Designer Pam Morris who is nothing short of genius in the area of design. She literally stepped through the room with us inch by inch laying our cabinetry, counter space and a new island. Once the design plans were complete, the project was handed over to veteran Field Supt., Len Samuel. At the end of the day, Len was the guy that took the concept to reality. Over the course of the several month long project, there literally was not a single day that Len was available either on site or in touch with us by phone. There were never any questions about what would happen next and when. And, for the first time I think I've ever heard of, our project was completed a week or so EARLY ! ! I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Airoom to anyone. They quite literally brought our dream kitchen to reality.

Our experience with Airoom Architects, Builders and Remodelers was wonderful. The Design and Construction teams at Airoom were thorough, thoughtful and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Our Designer at Airoom, Kathryn Demaire , challenged us to get exactly what we wanted. The experience with the entire team was so much better than when we built the house, 18 years ago- and that was very good. We experienced ups and a few downs- that were very quickly resolved to an even better state- that we can say the experience was Five Star.

About five years ago, we hired Airroom to finish our basement and add a full bath. The project went smoothly, and our basement is now a nice place for guests to stay, or for our kids to have playdates. The work quality was excellent. Now we have hired Airroom for an even bigger project - remodeling the entire exterior of our house and rebuilding our three-season room. They are experienced in this kind of work, are very professional and I'm confident they will do the job right.

I received several bids for the whole job and while I could have gotten it done for less money, I wanted it done right the first time with less headache. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole process and the end product. Converting a porch that was built in 1954 to meet current standards for an enclosed room required some creative solutions on Airoom's part - but they worked with the city to get the permits. I couldn't imagine having to do that by myself. Then they presented me with a timeline for each part of the job and generally speaking, it was accurate. The supervisor for the job was knowledgeable and responsive. What I most appreciated was the one-stop shopping. While it was a long day, the designer help me decide how to lay out the new room and which products would work best. The workmen were skilled and professional, always leaving the area clean. I thought that two parts of the job - heating the room and upgrading to a 200 amp electrical panel were overpriced so I used my own heating/AC and electrician company. The room is used every day as a kids hang out/homework room. Airoom also customized a cat run so the cats hang out there too!

I always admired those pictures of master bathrooms which were built for royalty or extremely wealthy people but I never dreamed that such an edifice would ever be within my personal reach. Having lived in our domicile for over 45 years, our master bathroom was in dire need of a remodeling. The walls were wallpapered, the floor was carpeted, the shower really didn't work and was leaking, and the counter tops by the two outdated sinks were cracked. It was a total embarrassment. Then I heard about Air Room and my wife and I decided to visit their showroom on Peterson Ave. and after speaking with two of their very talented employees, we agreed to have them come to our home, make measurements, and then come up with a proposed remodeled master bathroom. It has been three years since this one year long project was completed and may I readily admit that now I have that King's bathroom which I had always envied. We spent a lot of money towards its completion but it was well worth the expense. All of the walls are tiled with very exotic tiles as well as the porcelain floors and shower. The tile man was a true genius as he painstakingly measured and glued every piece of tile in its proper place. The fancy wood work with " knockout " designs is unique and breathtaking. We chose Kohler sinks and various other items for the multi use shower. The floors are heated and we have a " all in one" sensational toilet. The shower has all kinds of controls and various heads for our bathing pleasure. I could continue exclaiming about this conversational bathroom but then my dissertation would become rather boring. Let me end by just saying that the pictures of this bathroom were even published in a national magazine exemplifying the craftsmanship and skill of Air Room. My husband and I engaged Airoom to do 2 major projects in our home. Our first was a sizable 3-story addition, which turned out to seamlessly make our home even more beautiful than it was prior to the addition. We added a train room, a huge closet, two laundry rooms, a good-sized bedroom and a small garage for storage. The second project was an outdoor kitchen, which contained all the bells and whistles; large grill, warming drawer, refrigerator, sink, heat lamp and a gorgeous design, which is the envy of all who see it. The Airoom team included Marv Warner, Sr. Project Manager, Gina Bon, K&B Designer, Robyn Rue, K&B Designer and last but not least, Les Samuel, Field Superintendent (Les was at my home on a regular basis during construction of both projects). We are very pleased with Airoom and would recommend them to anyone who is considering an addition or a remodel to their home.

Airoom remodeled my lower level in 2016. They did a great job from helping me redesign the space to include a new powder room and tile area for grandchildren to play and eat at with easy clean up. The project manager did a great job dealing with our village permits and multiple inspections. He was in touch with me throughout the project. The subcontractors were polite and cleaned up the area each day before leaving. The selection process at the Airoom showroom was the easiest I have ever been through and I'm happy with all my choices a year later. I highly recommend working with Airoom for any remodel project.

We gutted and remodeled the interior of our 1928 tudor revival home: three floors, all new mechanicals, plumbing, and electrical, including heated floors throughout, relocation of the kitchen, 4 bathrooms, library, bedrooms, guestrooms, den, family room, playroom, etc. When we bought the house, it was a mess, the product of partial and outdated remodel jobs over the years. For instance, the floors were uneven from room to room, a staircase had been removed and replaced with a brick fireplace, the kitchen was right there when you entered the front door. Let's just say the layout left something to be desired. We hired Airoom after interviewing different design build firms in the area. We especially liked our initial designer Doug Klee, who listened to our concerns and translated solutions into concrete design plans. We wanted to honor the history of the home but update it with the flourishes of modern living. Doug did just that. Kudos also to Gina Bon, our kitchen and bath designer, who had a great aesthetic and attention to detail. Finally, we enjoyed working with our construction superintendent Craig Rohwedder. I cannot say enough how much of a joy he was to work with. He was transparent and hard working. Construction is never fun especially on a big job like ours, but Craig broke it down and was always attentive and diligent throughout the process. The house is now a home. Now, we are working on the exterior. . .

Currently in the finishing stages of a big kitchen and master bath remodel that will change the entire look of our house. My supervisor,Brett Fessler, is amazing. He is extremely patient, very knowledgeable and experienced. I would highly recommend Airoom to do your next project.

My husband and I had a piece of property we loved, but the existing house needed a drastic overhaul to suit our needs. Having always done all our own home repairs, we had no experience in hiring professionals. We didn’t even know anyone who had undertaken such a project who could give us advice. With an initial idea about remodeling what we had, I thought of Airoom because I had seen their ads for many years. A little research told me what I wanted to know--that they did it all, would guide us through the project, and they had been doing it for satisfied customers for decades. Well, our remodel eventually became a tear-down-rebuild so that we could have everything we wanted in our new home, ready for our retirement years. Everyone at Airoom was terrific to work with, from helping us define our project through its execution. We worked with Doug Klee to create the basic floor plan, a design that is uniquely ours, not a “clone” of other custom homes. Marv Warner, Senior Project Manager, and Robyn Rue, our Kitchen and Bath Designer, guided us through all the big and little decisions, and their ideas and advice were invaluable. We really enjoyed going to the Lincolnwood showroom to select the products and finishes, so easy with samples of everything right there in one place. The building crew was great, too. Dean Thomas, our Field Superintendant, made sure we always knew how things were progressing and addressed any questions or concerns promptly. He also sent progress pictures since we were living over twenty miles away. And now we have our perfect home! The house is beautiful and exactly what we want. We would heartily recommend Airoom and Michael Bennett Homes to anyone wanting to make their dream home a reality!

Tom and Julie were amazing to work with for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. Julie designed a great kitchen for us. She came up with some very creative ideas of how to deal with the space, and we had a lot of fun with the design. We were able to make it very personal to our preferences. Tom was a great foreman. Tom kept everything very organized, and he was very easy to communicate with. I felt like I knew what was going on at each phase of the product, and problems were handled efficiently. I love how the kitchen and powder room turned out. It made a very crowded and inefficient space very airy, organized and functional.

We recently finished a major project with Airoom. We did a total remodel (down to the studs) of our kitchen, added a mudroom, updated a powder room and installed wood floors on the entire first floor. Certainly an ambitious undertaking. But we are so pleased with the results! Every step of the process was meticulous and set up to make sure we would be happy with the final outcome. First we met with our Project Manager, Sarah. Sarah listened carefully to our dreams and wishes and helped flesh those out. She made sure she asked a lot of important questions – some that we had not even considered ourselves - and used all that input to give us a few different options to consider. She was extremely patient and tweaked/altered things to present the winning design that included everything we wanted. Next up was meeting with Gina, our Kitchen and Bath Designer. Gina was wonderful while she helped us choose from the dizzying choices including the cabinets and countertops of course but also all the detail items – drawer pulls and grout colors and faucets and light switches and many others. It was incredible how she found a way to give us enough choices and guidance without overwhelming us. Finally, the plans and material choices were turned over to Steve, our Project Supervisor. Steve was hands down the best partner we could have asked for. He basically lived and breathed the project with us for the duration. He was responsive and you could tell that he truly wanted the outcome to be as perfect as we did. He was an excellent conductor of the various trades involved – and there were a lot! Demolition, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, tile workers, flooring specialists, carpenters (Jim was one of the most competent and personable tradesmen I have ever had the pleasure to work with), countertop experts, etc. All of those had to be coordinated by Steve. And he had to work in the Village inspections as well. Truly a complex job that he managed in an easy-going and professional manner. Steve would give us bi-weekly reports of what to expect and would be on site to “check in” (inspect) the work that was being done that day. He answered calls, texts and email quickly and, if he did not know the answer, he would get back to us promptly with one. Finally, when unexpected problems or issues arose (and with a project this big, that is going to happen), Steve would find a solution. Overall, we are very happy with the entire team at Airoom and especially delighted with our new kitchen. Airoom is not the least expensive way to remodel but the value they provided was worth every penny.

Airoom did a great job on remodelling our two bathrooms. We have an old house so it was a complicated project and we were very impressed with the experience that Marv Warner had, the design ideas of Gina Bon and the professionalism of Tom Schneiderwind who oversaw all the subcontractors and completed the project. We are thinking about another project and would use Airoom again.

Airoom completed two large projects for us. Our first project primarily encompassed our home’s entire exterior, including the addition of two dormers on the second floor, a portico over the entry door, new siding, upgrading and replacing all windows, modifying front and back exterior, and a full renovation of the detached garage. Our home was built in the 1950s and the age of the home complicated the remodel. Airoom took on what was a challenge to us and made it seem simple. Airoom exceeded our expectations, from design through construction and follow-on service. Airoom stands by their work with one of the strongest warranties we have seen from a full service construction firm. Airoom had all of the bases covered and demonstrated their mastery of quality construction, which was our key focus. Each window frame, including a new sliding door and bump-out window, were individually reconstructed, and the additions to the second floor and entry door were also well-constructed with robust buttresses and framing materials. Airoom’s siding professionals were incredible. Our project also included new brickwork, a brand new concrete sidewalk, new doors, heavy duty insulation – many upgrades – all of which Airoom could manage with its cadre of expert installers and broad base of knowledge. The quality of the construction and long-term ability of the upgrade to withstand the tough Chicago climate was our #1 priority, and Airoom excelled. The garage was a truly special project on its own. Again due to age, the garage required a complete rehab. Due to zoning restrictions, we were limited on what we could do, but Airoom did a masterful job at repairing and replacing the foundation and improving / upgrading the frame of the garage. It looks brand new and is solid from top to bottom - it will last for years!!! In addition, Airoom offers a tailored spectrum of design finishes, from a solid value that look good to higher priced materials of the finest quality and craftsmanship – all under one roof! For these many reasons, we selected Airoom for phase 2: full kitchen gut rehab and 2 bathroom upgrades. This included major plumbing, electrical, tiling, interior flooring, and more. Again Airoom excelled. They are the true one-stop-shop! We were able to leverage our prior experience and design parameters from the first project. Meeting with many of the same people and meeting a few new faces as we expanded our scope. The Burton Allen cabinetry is unique to Airoom and truly remarkable. We shopped around a ton and have found none finer, especially at Airoom’s price point. Highly recommended!!! All new countertops, backsplashes, and tile work. All incredible and very nice work! Straight grout lines with a built-in sealer (so low maintenance). Our friends often think the ceramic tile in the kitchen backsplash is natural stone – again thanks to Airoom. The design specialist (Robyn) was very detailed and knowledgeable, which really helped us in making decisions and ensuring a quality, efficient install. Each stage of the projects had a “go to” person – Architect Bill Sattler (Phase 1), Lance Shalzi (Phase 2), Senior Project Manager Marv Warner (Phase 1 and 2, Marv ultimately stepped up and designed our 2nd project and moved it through the system swiftly), and Field Project Supervisors Joe Forssander (Phase 1) and Jeff Gross (Phase 2) – and they answered all of our questions quickly and maintained tight control over the schedule and many moving pieces of the project. They offered great advice and demonstrated their expertise throughout the different stages. We were very pleased and we still stay in touch today! Airoom stood by their work and even when hiccups came along – as they often do for older home remodels – Airoom stood by us and made things right! Highly recommended.

Sarah at Airoom was able to create a design for remodeling our kitchen and bathroom which incorporated an existing laundry chute which we wanted to maintain as well as align with our desire to keep the style relatively period to our home. Airoom has a very systematic approach to ensure that the project goes off without a hitch. Throughout the process we met with several people on the Airoom team. Greg did a nice job of helping us through he mechanical design, and Robyn did a beautiful job helping to put together the details of our kitchen and bathroom. The project probably took longer than it may have with other companies due to the way Airoom structures their projects, but we knew that going into it. We had a few bumps along the way with a couple of the subcontractors, but our superintendent, Tom, was great and diligently worked to get all issues resolved. Throughout the project he worked to ensure that we were happy with the results. We really appreciate Airoom's attention to detail and respect for our particular taste. It's really saying something when our superintendent has a better attention to detail than we do. Airoom has created a beautiful kitchen and bathroom for us which we are excited to enjoy for many years to come. The only thing prohibiting us from giving Airoom the five star rating are the issues that we encountered with some of the subcontracted workers. With the premium price that Airoom charges they should be sure they are hiring the best crews. Thanks again to Tom for working to get these issues resolved.

Airoom is the best in the business. With a big remodeling project, I had two goals: (1) I didn't want to be chasing the contractors around, hoping they would show up and ultimately finish the project on time; and (2) I didn't want to be in litigation when we were finished. Airoom met both those goals and then went way, way beyond. They were professional, organized and ultra-responsive from day one through completion, and even after completion. The quality of the work is exceptional. They're a company with systems, procedures and guarantees. Couldn't be happier with the experience or the finished product.

While I am only at the design phase of my renovation project, I can say that I am extremely impressed with how prompt, professional, and organized my Airoom designer, Sarah Goesling has been. I'm looking forward to each phase of this renovation project.

My husband and I love our neighborhood and neighbors, but we were falling out of love with our house. When we decided to remodel we did our research and decided to go with Airoom. We chose Airoom because we were impressed with the professionals on staff and their interest in understanding our needs and desires for our home. From the start, the team assigned to our project spent time with us to understand how we lived and how best to achieve our desired outcome. We are right in the middle of the work now, but we are so pleased and impressed with the way the project is progressing. The plan they created for our house is simply lovely! Now that we are in the construction phase, our superintendent is wonderful to work with and keeps us informed and updated on the project progress. In 2013, we worked with Airoom to build an addition on our historic home. The process included the demolition of a flat-roofed, 1940s porch that had been converted to 10 x 13 family room, a large deck built in the 1980s, and a tree. Airoom worked with us to design a 20 x 20 family room and full bath. All plans had to be approved by the City of Elgin, as we live in a historic district. The architects matched stucco, window style, eaves, and other design to the original 1905 house. Airoom's team of designers/planners, subcontractors and office staff were helpful, accessible, and responsive. We have recommended Airoom to friends and neighbors.

I would highly recommend using Airoom Architects, Builders to build your home and/or addition. Make sure you ask for Tom Schneiderwind as your superintendent - he is the best Airoom has. Tom is knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant and a problem solver. Thanks for building a home we love!

After debating for two years when was the right time to redo our kitchen, we decided to reconnect with Dudley Bandy, one of Airoom's Sr project development managers we had been in contact before. He brought a lot of great ideas that we hadn't thought of and was also easy and fun to work with. Although our budget was blown through with additional designs we discussed, we are happy we trusted Dudley. The project involved an addition to the house, opening rooms with weight bearing walls and repositioning almost every appliance in the kitchen. The hardest part about the project was realizing that from start to finish would take the good part of a year. However, Looking back, this actually brought our family closer together. We had our ups and downs during the design phase, but our designer Pam Morris was pleasant and patient with us throughout the process. During the construction phase, we had Craig Rohwedder assigned as our project manager. Craig was onsite on a regular basis to ensure the quality of workmanship was what we expected from our builder. He was very good at explaining what was being worked on and timing of what was scheduled for the week. Overall, we are excited about our new kitchen, and although there were ups and downs, overall we are very happy with our decision to trust Airoom with our project.

We greatly enjoyed working with Airoom throughout our entire process on our home addition (new kitchen addition and building an office and expanding our dining room where our old kitchen was) . The architect we first met with gave us great ideas we didn't consider originally and provided us with 2 complimentary drawings before we even agreed to work with them (most architects/companies make you pay up front). While they are a premium builder, they provide ALL their services in house, making it an extremely easy planning process from selecting your material to final artistic touches. They kept to their timeline and budget (although we both agreed in advance if there would be any unexpected costs once they started construction, to let us know in advance and estimated costs which we included in our overall budget). Our on-site supervisor felt like he worked 7 days a week at times throughout our 5 month project with them. Yes, there were times we didn't see eye to eye during the process, but they were extremely professional, and we always worked it out. One of our biggest area of satisfaction is their 10 year installation warranty. We have had several issues (including a gas leak that was due to an unforseen crack in the pipe fitting that expanded over time) - - we were able to quickly call them on a Saturday morning and by Saturday afternoon, a plumber was out repairing it all at no cost. There has been several other instances we needed to quickly call them and overall, they were responsive and took care of the issue at no cost thanks to our installation warranty. And most importantly, they completely brought our kitchen addition vision to life and three years later, we are still extremely happy with our project.

We are in the initial planning and design stages with Airoom, but compared to our previous experience with home construction, what differentiates Airoom is the professionalism at every level. From Marv, our Project Manager, to Pam, our designer and Bob our superintendent, everyone takes the time to not only know the specifications of the work, but to understand our needs and lifestyle. As we embark on the construction phase, we are confident that the same extremely positive experience we've had in the pre-construction phase will be realized.

We hired Airoom to remodel a 20-year-old condominium before we moved in. EVERYONE with whom we worked--Dudley (our first contact and initial designer), Robyn (kitchen & bath designer), Marv (Sr. Project Mgr) and Craig (Superintendent)--could not have been more professional and helpful. Airoom handled everything, including submitting plans to the homeowners association as required and to our municipality for the permitting process and final project approval. The tradespeople took care to not cause any damage to the common area and the site was cleaned every day--no trace of dust or dirt in the halls, etc. Throughout the design and work process we had as much advice as we needed and wanted. After living in another place for over three decades, it was amazing to learn from Airoom about all the new innovative products that exist. We are very happy with the outcome of the new kitchen, pantry, and two bathrooms. Did the project cost more than we initially planned and take a little more time? Yes, but we went in with no idea how much such a project would cost. We added to the scope of our original ideas but the outcome was well worth it. We would not hesitate to hire Airoom again for a future project.

Tom our superintendent was wonderful. His entire crew were professional, respectful and experts in their fields. Our project was completed well before the official completion date which was greatly appreciated. The Airoom support staff and design team were easy and accommodating to deal with. We interviewed many businesses to take on our project and we constantly are thankful we choose Airoom.

We really had no idea what we wanted when we approached Airoom to remodel our house, we just knew that we needed to do something. Our designer took the random ideas we had, and impressed us with her ideas and suggestions. Airoom displayed great communication and workmanship, and the end product is better than we could have ever dreamed!

We recently completed a home addition and remodeling project with Airoom and are so happy with the result. From start to finish, Airoom was professional and accommodating, with talented staff and contractors. The architects were easy to work with, and our construction superintendent, Craig Rohwedder, was fantastic about keeping on schedule and ensuring that all work was of a high quality. When unexpected construction issues did arise, he was an advocate for us and made sure we had full information when making decisions. We fully trusted that he had our best interests in mind. The worksite was always tidy and the project was designed so we could live through it with minimal intrusion and inconvenience. This seems to be Airoom's specialty, and it made the process much more pleasant than we expected. The only frustrating part of the process for us was the upfront design side. We were clear about our project budget and goals from the start, but the designs initially presented were significantly over that amount and more elaborate than we requested. Designers were talented and friendly but not budget-minded, which made for a difficult start to the project. However, once we agreed on the plans and were comfortable with the budget, it was smooth sailing. Airoom built us a two-story addition (including a new kitchen and master suite) and entirely renovated the exterior of our home... the quality of construction and attention to detail are fantastic. The result is everything we wanted, and we are grateful that the process was so seamless and pleasant. We would definitely recommend Airoom to friends, and we would use them again for future projects.

After discussing our needs with several competitors, we were convinced that Airoom was by far our best option. Our designer Sarah, was personable, well versed in bathroom remodels and really listened to our needs. She was professional, respected our budget, and came up with innovative ideas, resulting in bathrooms that far exceeded our expectations! Picking out materials with Robyn could have been daunting but she made choosing faucets, finishes, tile, grout, etc. a really easy process. There isn't a single thing that we would change. Each step of our construction our lead contractor, Les, was there to help us understand what was happening from one day to the next. He successfully corralled every single worker from plumbers to electricians to dry wall guys, you name it, Les made things happen when they were supposed to. Our house has been transformed into the beautiful retreat we'd always dreamed of. We can't thank you enough for all of your hard work. Full service design build. We were lucky to have an amazing designer that drove us to a great outcome. Not the cheapest, but as they say - you get what you pay for. Great post-completion service on many follow up items.

We worked with a talented team of contractors, designers architects and sales on our addition and remodel of our 50 year old home.Doug was our first impression and let us in the right direction so we stayed with in our budget. Doug listened and presented us ideas and design concepts in the beginning which allowed us to understand, he knew what we wanted.Ken was our site manager. Any concern, question or problem that my husband and I had, Ken provided solutions for everything in a responsive and timely manner. He is easily accessible and responds quickly. He was highly effective at managing the subcontractors and the timing our project.Gina! She surpassed every expectation we had. Gina has a great and unique eye for kitchen and bath designing. She is extremely talented ! Her attention to the details and design are fabulous! She helped us create our dream kitchen during the selection process. She is extremely knowledgeable about kitchen products.

I used Airoom to construct my dream kitchen. The project was done approx a year ago and I still gasp when I walk in! I told Airoom what I wanted and they made it happen. The process was very orderly. I was very apprehensive to do a big project like this but my project manager, Terry Tegtmeier, made things go very smoothly. I would use them again for a big project.

We remodeled our kitchen. Airoom made the process easy from design to completion. The design consultant we worked with took our ideas and came up with an amazing concept for our kitchen. Our home is old and it made some rerouting of plumbing and vents tricky. Our project manager was great and kept the job moving forward and was calm with any issue that came about. The project was completed ahead of schedule and everyone we worked with was helpful and professional.

We live in an old home that at one time was multiple apartments so it has many small rooms. We wanted to combine 3 rooms to make one large master suite. We worked with Airoom on a design concept. They did give us a design that met every one of our desires. Unfortunately our desires exceeded our budget and I. Order to make the project financially feasible the scope of worn was reduced so much the project no longer met our desires. Throughout the process Airoom met our expectations thoroughly.

We used Airoom to do a living room addition, kitchen remodel, and to turn our existing family room space into a master bedroom suite. We called a few other local companies also to create a design to meet our needs. Our home was a 3 bedroom raised ranch typical 2 level with sub lower level. We also had a need for exterior remodeling including siding and windows. We had no idea where to start but we knew what we needed; additional bedroom, remodel kitchen, remodel exterior with siding and new windows. We chose and started working with Airoom. At our first appointment Dudley had great ideas on how to meet our needs and then some. He gave us a plan for our budget, they were always clear on price changes or things that could not be done. After all the planning and picking of material, we did find ourselves above our budget but this was mostly due to upgrades we wanted on materials and certain rooms. We worked with the creative and patient team at Airoom to finish the design plans. We broke ground in May 2015 as projected. Construction is never easy and we are a family of 5 and had to live in our bedroom hallway with appliances in basement, during this difficult time, Tom and Airoom workers we always respectful, courteous,and cleaned up. Communication was very easy we felt we could discuss good and bad things that came up with Tom Schneiderwind our project superintendent. We had a great experience with Airoom. Construction timetable was met and project even completed a few weeks earlier than projected by Airoom. We now have a beautiful 4 bedroom raised ranch with a master bedroom suite, kitchen remodel, new family room addition, siding and windows and couldn't be happier. Thanks Airoom!

Airoom was solid all around, start to finish. We decided to renovate our first floor which included a kitchen and new dining room. Project was scheduled for 4 months and they finished on time. During installation, a cabinet got damaged but they were able to order a new one for me right away. Would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again.

Airoom came out and remodeled our kitchen and added a new family room, master closet and basement section. They covered the whole process - everything from the design to the permitting, construction, and review processes. Their team was responsive, and kept the process moving. Airoom's permit and zoning department had to go through a resubdividson and a zoning variation on our behalf. They handled it well and took a lot off our plate in terms of responsibility, time, and costs. We knew it was time to really update our home, and spoke to a few other design/build firms but felt that Airoom brought the most to the table. From the first meeting to the last walk-through, their team really made us feel comfortable about our project and our budget, and made sure that we understood the whole process and got what we wanted. Any time that there is a kitchen remodel, it disrupts your home life. We have six kids, but their team was really cognizant of that and made sure to make us comfortable throughout, as well as making sure that everything was always as clean as possible. The super Kevin did a fabulous job. Everything flowed well, and the different teams worked well together to ensure that the project was kept to the timeline. All in all, it was a great experience. The workmanship is great, the quality is great and their team was always accessible and courteous.

We contacted a few contractors for our remodeling job, but ultimately chose Airoom. The staff was professional, courteous and it certainly helped to be able to visit the showroom. With the aid of their architect, designer, and project manager we began our project. They did a complete gut of the kitchen, master bath, and changes to the family room and living room. In addition, they changed a bedroom into a beautiful library. They finished this extensive project on time and at the estimated price!

Airoom markets their "total" approach to remodeling with an emphasis on project management. We did not find this to be the case. While working with them we had 3 different designers because employees left or were injured, thus there was little continuity and what I felt to be inadequate and uninspired design services. It took a year to complete a front entry portico, single bathroom remodeling and an indoor front door bench and wood/glass room divider. They somehow dropped the ball in obtaining permits from the village which added significantly to the delay. The workmanship once they performed the work seemed fine. They do not provide painting services or landscaping services (replace front steps) so that requires finding other contractors.

Our designer took our random ideas and turned them into a beautiful aesthetic that has made our room a wonderful, comfortable retreat that we hoped it would be. Our project supervisor communicated with us on a regular basis and kept us informed of all decisions regarding our project. In addition, the quality of workmanship was outstanding and we wouldn't hesitate to use Airoom for home remodeling projects in the future.

We have done 5 remodeling projects in our home over the last 10 years. The last four projects have been with airoom. They have done a fabulous job. From the unique design, attention to detail and quality work, we couldnt be more pleased. We would definately use them again

We have now used Airoom on two different projects. The first, and largest, was to completely gut and remodel our existing kitchen. They did an amazing job from start to finish and the final product was spectacular. They walked us through the whole process and gave us great ideas and input along the way. They planned the kitchen just to our liking, providing sketches, blueprints, photos etc, to help us create the exact kitchen we were looking for. We then met with their design team, who helped us pick out all of our appliances, cabinets, lighting, colors etc, the list goes on. The designers were all amazing and very patient. That part of project can be very stressful, but they guided us through it. They gave us great advice, and at the same time, listened carefully to us, in an effort to make it exactly how we wanted it. The actual work they did was awesome. Every worker was very meticulous in every thing they did. The job site was cleaned up every evening, as they understood we were still living there. Basically the process went without a hitch, every person we came in contact with was very professional and very good at what they do. We then decided to hire them to turn a small room into a new bathroom. This project seemed a little more challenging, but they pulled it off without any problems. We basically went through the same exact process we did with the kitchen and got the same amazing results. Airoom did a wonderful job and can't imagine getting any better results. Their knowledge was so helpful, the whole time you felt very confident that they knew exactly what was going on, and what would be best for us. I am sure we have another project in the future and will definitely be using them.

Awful experience - I have never felt so violated by a contractor. We hired Airoom and paid a premium for turnkey service as both my wife and I work and lead very busy lives. We got anything but. Four different job superintendents, three of whom resigned from company during or shortly after our project. Last one offered to testify if we wanted to sue company. We didn't have attorney review contract - huge mistake. Milestones based on starting work but not finishing anything. After several months insisted on a project plan - what we got was a complete joke. I'm no contractor and could immediately see things out of order (e.g., install cabinets before floors). Outrageous fees for unplanned work (e.g., $700 to run conduit in open wall - got a licensed electrician to do it for $180) Had weeks and weeks of no work. Too many other items to list here. At the end of the day, we refused to pay last $1700 (total job was $100K) so they put a lien on our house. Good luck with that. In summary = if you don't care how much it costs, don't care how long it takes and want to be treated like crap - this is your company.

I worked with a bathroom designer, and was very impressed with her ideas and suggestions. In the end, our project was too small for this company, but just based on the help I got from their designer I would use them!! She really "heard" what we wanted, and had great examples in her portfolio and online (Houzz, Pinterest, etc.). She was very interested in what we had already collected as far as ideas, and quickly homed in on the design elements that were the same. Plus, she had the build experience to tell us whether, for example, moving a toilet one foot to the left was expensive or not. (It is...)

Airoom recently completed our basement. Their designer met with us a few times to get the layout just right then they took us through the process from start to finish. The basement looks just like the design. We know from past experience that there's always something unexpected with remodeling, but the only issue was a door that came incorrectly. Our project manager saw it and corrected it right away so it didn't hold us up. We loved working with him and all the crews. They did a great job.

Had Airoom renovate my upstairs master bedroom as well a renovation and expansion to my kitchen. Dudley and Gina provided a easy experience from initial design to completion. Would recommend their services and would definitely use them in the future.

We hired Airoom to build a second floor after seeing their work on houzz. It was a fine outcome and we are very happy with their service and results.

We recently completed a project with Airoom Architects & Builders. We added on a great room and remodeled the kitchen and existing bathroom as well. We worked with Marty, Pam and Kevin primarily. It went really well and the finished product is better than the drawings. We would use them again and felt very confortable with their reputation. Their showroom was helpful for us as we aren't very visual people. Their signs are everywhere in our surrounding neighborhoods so we felt good about that as well. We had one service call on some door alignments and they came out immeadiately and adjusted it. Good honest company.

If I could give negative stars, this would be the company. My problem was the disconnect between what is promised in the beautiful brochure.....and what actually happens. Their contract does NOT reflect what they say in the brochure. They do not finish in a reasonable time. We went through FOUR project managers who each needed two weeks or more to catch up on details of project, it is not worry free, they order the wrong materials which extends projects for months, so your house is exposed to elements during this time. No compensation is offered for all their mismanagement.

I had 15 windows installed in my home by airoom. They are professional, work very efficiently and keep all areas as clean as possible during construction. The entire process was very smooth and they did everything possible to keep us happy. From the first consultation up to the project inspection the customer service was impeccable. I have already started my second project with them, i have already ordered doors and they will be installed soon!

We love our Airoom kitchen! Every aspect of the project was beautifully done from start to finish. Our superintendent Tom Schneiderwind was fantastic and took care of every aspect of the project. Having our kitchen totally remodeled during the worst winter in Chicago history wasn't fun- but without Tom it would have been a nightmare. The Airoom experience is top quality.

Airoom is a great company with incredible design. Their project images are unbelievable! I especially love their kitchen remodels. I would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home.
