My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What are the materials used for the ceiling and the floor? If the ceiling is natural, how do you keep the cold midwest elements from harming it?

    Hi Jacqueline. The floor is IPE - a rainforest wood. It's very dense and does well in our climate, though it needs to be sealed with waterproof treatment every several years. The ceiling is pine bead board stained on site. Thanks for your interest in the project!
