I charge a flat fee for most projects. Total project cost of bedroom furnishing starting at $10,000 Living room furnishing starting at $15,000 Outdoor furnishings starting at $12,000 Kitchen & bath remodel starting at $20,000 Full home renovation starting at $50,000 Design consultations $150/hour. Estimates based on experience. Your actual costs may vary depending on the scope of your project Services are both broad and flexible, and I offer as much or as little as you need. This can range from comprehensive interior design to a simple room refresh. This includes any or all of the following: Space planning Furniture placement Paint and/or wallpaper Window treatments Rugs Lighting Accessories & Styling For clients who are looking for professional advice and design ideas, I am able to assist with interior design consultations. Anu is amazing! We had the pleasure to work with her to redesign our beach home. She listened to all our concerns and came up with innovative ideas to match our taste and price point. Also, she went above and beyond to help us with other parts of our remodel. She was always available when we needed her and was very pleasant to work with on the project. I will highly recommend her to anyone who asks for a designer.

Anu hired me to photograph a bedroom she designed in West Hollywood. The space was beautiful and when I arrived to shoot, she already had the space styled to perfection, which always makes my job easier and quicker.. She was extremely easy to work with and very responsive with communication. I'm looking forward to working with her again in the future.

Anu has transformed every single one of the spaces I've lived in in the last 4 years (I've moved every year and across country a few times so that's a lot!). Time and time again she's made my home feel beautiful and ultra-comfortable regardless of size, orientation, and location. I've always loved spending time in my homes because of how Anu has made it functional, well-designed, and distinctly me. Her work style and approach to giving clients the best experience possible is thoughtful, detailed, fluid, and easy. Anu is adept at getting to know her clients and becoming extremely attuned to her clients' desires/needs but her expertise lies in giving her clients more than they've ever imagined, which ends up being more of what they need than initially expected. When you work with Anu, you can expect to learn a lot about the design process because of how intentional she is about being transparent and presenting clients with a breadth of options. The latest project she worked on for me was a much higher budget so Anu was able to really flex her design skills. The end-product was so stunning that I decided to hold off on moving out of my high-rise apartment in Downtown LA just because of how much I fell in love with the place! Anu's style is also incredibly versatile so if you're looking to design a nursery, a bonus room for your teenage boys, a luxurious bedroom for yourself, a tiny apartment, or an ultra-modern penthouse, AK Designs is the way to go! Thanks Anu for making my home my favorite place to wake up in and to come home to :)

I have used AK designs for two different projects. When I first moved into my condo she was there from start to finish to help with paint colors to the last little accessories throughout the home. She picked timeless pieces that when we moved into our new home we're able to transition. Now with our new home she has just been simply amazing! She really listens to what you want but at the same time giving her professional input on what will actually work. I'm so glad I picked AK designs and I can't wait for the finished product of our Home!
