"Beyond Our Wildest Dreams"! After years of research and meeting with various companies, we found Alderete Pools and Solar. We knew from the first contact that this was "Our Guy". Aldrete's professionalism and knowledge brought us to a meeting of the minds. Our first endeavor was Solar Panels. After thorough and timely installation, our utilities were reduced by 85% - 100%. We have even received CREDIT in some months. As well as the tax break for 2018. It will pay for itself in no time. On to the pool remodel. Ray saw our vision and created our dream backyard. The expertise and quality of workmanship was like watching a team of artist. The team was always conscious of existing landscape and took extra precautions to avoid any potential damage. Alderete completed every last detail in record time leaving no questions unanswered. We highly recommend Alderete Pools and Solar. We sincerely appreciate every effort they offered us. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to attach a photo to show the fantastic work they did. I will take every effort to do so in the near future.

I am a new homeowner where the Alderete Team had installed the Solar! They have been fantastic to work with on questions regarding solar and even our pool! Very responsive on reports, help, etc.... I would highly recommend them!

We loved working with Ray and his team of very professional workers. They all were very friendly, came when they said they were going to, and cleaned up after themselves. We all love our new pool and spa and the decking looks fantastic! Best part - Alderete Pools finished ahead of schedule! I would highly recommend this company to friends and family!

The Alderete Team is fantastic. They were detail oriented, professional, and always on time. There were no surprises, other than good ones. They kept to the stated budget. Ray and/or Tim were often onsite although they had to travel from San Clemente to Long Beach to work on our pool. They were patient with our questions. I would use them again, but I am hoping that we have this pool for many years to come (that is what you get for building such a fine product), so that I may never have an opportunity to use them again. I would, however, highly recommend them.

Alderete Pool team was exceptional! The owner Ray was always stopping by to make sure everything was being done right. Toby, his son was always helping where ever he was needed and Tim was making sure we understood each step. The team really was top notch from the very first steps till the last, explaining how to work it all. Everyone was very respectful, hardworking and they got it done when he said he would. FYI, his paver and coping guys are awesome. Would highly recommend them anytime. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We had three quotes and decided on Alderete Pools not because their quote was the best, almost, but because Ray was diligent, direct and honest. We had decided on Alderete Pools but thought we could get a few more months out of our current system. Fate had other ideas and with a broken/worn filter clamp that was no longer being made we were forced to move faster than we had planned. Ray, his son and staff were quick to get everything done in one day so we didn't have to wait and watch our pool turn green. They answered all my questions, we very patient at showing us everything we needed to know and even gave me a great resource for a pool guy in our area who knew our new system well. We cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with Alderete Pools, when we are ready to remodel our pool they will be our only call.

The Alderete team did a terrific job putting I our new pool and spa. Ray Alderete was one of the first contractors that we met with the discuss our thought for installing a pool. Ray gave us great insight into what we should expect and the costs associated. We had a plan drawn up and contacted several pool contractors and put the job out to bid. Alderete was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. They responded to all our questions in a prompt business like fashion. The reason I went with Alderete is because Alderete has been in business for many years and they have perfected the art of pool building to insure the project is run in a smooth and efficient manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Alderete and can say that it has been a pleasure working with all of the team members, including Ray, Tim, and Toby and special kudos go to the guys who work so hard to make sure the customer is happy, in our case Victor and his crew. I have never seen a group of people work so hard in my life. They are an all-around great group of guys that will do everything in their power to make sure you get the pool you want.

We used Alderete about a year ago for our solar and they did such a great job, we decided to price them out for our yard remodel as well. We were very happy with the job, they were able to listen to our needs and turn our dreams into reality. We did pavers, coping, quartz pool finish (highly recommend!), a custom fireplace, and a bbq/kitchen area. They were very reasonable compared to our other quotes, and they stuck to their quote, they didn't add on things throughout the project. Their workers show up on time (if not early) and they worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner. We were even ahead of schedule! They also did a great job on their clean up. We were very satisfied and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I found Alderete Pools by doing research on internet for pool builder. I have many friends and neighbors who built pool or remodeled their pool not one of them could give me a go ahead to use them. After we recieved permit it was 71/2 weeks from demo to water in my new pool! We kept thing "something is gonna go wrong" but nothing ever did. Building a pool should be a fun stress-free process, and it was using Ray!

Ray/Tim and the gang are awesome! They completely overhauled my 1983 pool and brought it into the 21st century. We added a Cabo step, pebble etc, 3 Water features, Multi color LED lights, iAquaLink, auto pool fill, overflow, and dedicated pool sweep so we can actually skim and sweep at the same time. At Rays suggestion we even added an umbrella sleeve in the Cabo step and that is already a hit! I work with GCs for a living and my wife and i bid out multiple contractors. We knew in the first 5 minutes we wanted to do biz with Alderete and after promptly receiving a professional and thorough line item bid, it was solidified. Great guys, great pricing, and super easy and fair to work with throughout the entire scope of work!

I engaged with Ray Alderete 14 years ago to build a pool at my new home. Working with Ray is a wonderful experience itself. He is so attentive to every little detail and gave me so much more than I was expecting. Simple things like auto fill means a lot if you ever left your pool filling while you went to work! When his assistant introduced me to the rotating jets for my Jacuzzi, OH MY, LOVE them! Most importantly 14 years later Ray has taken care of any issues within 24 hours. In fact, it is usually the same day. I don't want anyone to take advantage of Ray but when we went through those tough economic times he replaced a pump for me at his cost. That's the kind of man Ray is.

Ray and his team are truly the best in the business! Not only are they easy to have around for the length of time it take to build a pool, but they are highly responsive, answer endless questions, work well with other contractors, offer helpful suggestions when asked, have an excellent network of trade referrals but they also stay within budget. We feel our pool was exceptionally well-built by a team of experts. We also used Alderete Solar and were thrilled with the results and service provided by Toby Alderete.
