I have used Michael Ward with Allard Ward Architects several times! Michael and his team do an amazing job and are experts at blending form and function. I highly recommend this firm to anyone (especially those in historic neighborhoods) looking for designers who are mindful of the community at large and their clients' needs and wants!

My wife and I are ecstatic with our renovation and the architectural design from Allard Ward. When we receive compliments on our home we consistently start by complimenting Michael Ward and the other individuals who worked on our project. Our project encompassed a complete remodel and significant expansion of our 1920’s bungalow near Belmont University. In addition to the architectural component, Michael quickly came to our aid and helped us several times whenever a mid-project design problem occurred. We have zero complaints and could not be happier with our new home.

Michael Ward and Kaitlyn Smous of Allard Ward Architects designed our new home and we love it. The process of working with them was absolutely delightful, we continue to be grateful for the experience. They were good listeners, thoughtful problem solvers, creative, respectful of our budget, and very reassuring and responsive during the building process. We built in a neighborhood with historic zoning and Michael Ward was particularly knowledgable about the process of working with the historic commission. While working with them was very professional, designing a home is also very personal. Michael and Kaitlyn made it easy for us because of their great personalities and their unique abilities. We miss them and would love to work with them again.
