As the owner of Angela Morris Design, I want my clients to enjoy their project and I can promise we are going to have a good time working on it together! I will help you collectively work on your space to create the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love. I have been designing for over 30 years. My design background goes back to childhood; I am a product of artists, painters, sculptures and constructors. I spent half of my life in Europe, Vienna, Austria, where it is hard not to take in and love the architecture. My background includes being certified by UC Riverside as a designer, where I have also had the absolute pleasure of teaching at the University. I will be teaching the Introduction to Interior Design course, a certification program, at UCR's Palm Desert campus in Fall 2019. With so many years in industry and experience working for various firms, I am a wealth of information and will always design for you as an individual. Design is a process we must do together. A famous designer taught me that there are three very important fundamentals that I have incorporated into my own design firm: 1. Never forget whose home it is. 2. Never forget whose money is being spent. 3. Never forget who will be using the space after I am long gone. I am a designer that is also very active in my community. I am a chairperson for the Alzheimer Organization and I am a very proud supporter of our military. I give discounts to military, educators, police and firefighters; thank you for your sacrifices and service! I pride myself on fair pricing each job, whether I work hourly or on the project from concept to completion. In the processes of creating and purchasing I will find the best value for you and I will shop all sources.

We worked with Angela on our whole house remodel. She is on fire and always ten steps ahead in the planning and getting the job done as promised. Angela knows vendors everywhere and where to go to get the job done. Angela always answered her phone when we had questions and if unavailable, she returned the call soon. She kept her eye on the budget and was conscious of overruns. I completely trusted her to make decisions for us and to run the project while we were away. Our remodel turned out better than we imagined! We returned home to see our TajMahal complete.

Angela has been great to work with. We are one of those couples who live out of area, but find themselves with a property in Palm Desert. Angela carved out several days the first time we got together and dedicated her time to us. She has been doing design/decorating for I think over 20 years and because of that she has a LONG list of places and shops that she does business with. We saw furniture, rugs, painting, barstools, patio furniture and more. She handled all of the deliveries since we lived out of town which was a huge help. Angela kept us informed on how things were going, and she and my wife did some shopping over FaceTime as well. FYI, she also has great discounts at lots of stores that are passed down to us!! When we were flying back to see how things looked, she has some snacks and drinks for us in the refrigerator. She made sure everything was nice and clean when we arrived and even did some laundry after we left. The first time I went back by myself the I discovered washing machine had a leak. Well of course she sent me to one of her contacts and two days later I had a new washer and dryer before my golf buddies arrived. As for integrity, here is story for you. She called me saying she discovered that we had a credit at one of her stores because of a return we had done. Not everyone would call to let you know things like that. She has been amazing to work with and I can't say enough great things about Angela. I will just say that one of our best moves was hiring Angela Morris.

My wife and I were lucky. We moved to Rancho Mirage after losing our home and all belongings in the fires. We needed to buy and furnish a new condo from scratch, with a definite budget. We needed help, and we used the Houzz site to review and select a decorator. We chose Angela. She has spent time with us. She took us to companies to review furniture and decor. She spent time with us looking at alternatives and then selecting the right combinations to give us a new home. She listened to us. She took our inputs, and she was able to disagree constructively when we were wrong. She explained. She suggested. She made us better clients by her help. Oh, and her ideas as decorator have been fresh and stimulating and creative. We are excited about the results from Angela. We are so fortunate to have found her.

am and I live most of the year up in the Seattle area. Last year we bought a condo in Bermuda Dunes and immediately recognized that some significant changes had to be made in the kitchen. A friend recommended that we talk to Angela Morris about the design. We did, and soon decided about the general direction the project should take. Angela has a great list of subs that came over to look at the home and we very shortly after that we had a plan. Angela has a great eye and came up with a design that we loved right away. But she was also more than willing to hear our ideas and concerns. The project came out better than we really expected and within our budget. We are very pleased with the renovation that was done and we're quite certain we could never have done it without her help, guidance and dedication. I was fortunate to find Angela available for our short term renovation project mid summer in Palm Desert. She responded immediately and we set to work to refurnished and update our standard 3/2 condo. We're new to living full time in the Desert so I didn't know where to begin. She really helped me focus by giving me her overall plan for our place. From that, my husband and I could choose what was most important to complete now for budget reasons...and what could wait til later. She has the best stable of craftsmen: painter, carpenter, picture hanger. Everything they did for us was of the highest quality. Angela really helped me focus on what was most important to us and that is comfort over style. With her, we got both! Since I wanted a lot of color she suggested we paint one wall a dramatic blue. The most inspired thing she did was create our wall of "travel art" in the living room. It's the centerpiece and conversation starter for our entire space. We are thrilled with the work Angela did for us and would recommend her highly.

Angela was a pleasure to work with, when my husband and I purchased our home in Temecula we needed help. Being new to Temecula, I asked our Realtor if he knew any good interior designers in the area, he checked with his network partners and they recommended Angela. The home was dated and had a very sterile feel to it, we wanted to warm it up and give it an updated design. Angela worked with us to select the flooring, window coverings, furniture, counter tops and paint. She is knowledgeable and listened to what we liked so she could design a home that reflected us. We hired Angela to help us furniture an entire 3 bedroom, with a large great room 2900 sq foot home in Palm Desert. She is very knowledgeable about all the different styles of decorating and how to coordinate layout and color schemes. She helped us make decisions on what we should do. Angela listens and observes. She helped me prepare an 1890 Victorian home of 20 years to sell. It sold in a day. My home presented itself well in light of my heavy colors and period furniture. A young couple walked in and felt the stability of my contribution to the character of the home PLUS they saw the potential in making it their own. Angela gets full credit for the latter. By the way, this was all done by Skype!!!!
