The building process with Van Alan Homes has been remarkable. Alan and Jalyn were by our sides every step of the process in helping us build and design our DREAM home. We have heard horror stories of building a new home, so we were a bit nervous about the process, but after going through it with Van Alan homes, we can honestly say that the entire process was AMAZING! Their team was responsive, transparent and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process. We now can consider Alan and Jayln are now some of our dearest friends, who we will always be thankful for making our dream turn into a reality!

Van Alan Homes built our new home in Lafayette. Although we have owned several homes over the past forty years, this was the only time that my wife and I have built a home. It was a long process, but much less stressful than we imagined. All of Van Alan's employees and most of the vendors and sub-contractors that Van Alan used were helpful, thorough, and did quality work. We are pleased that the home was completed under budget. We are thoroughly enjoying living in it.

When my wife and I prepared to build a home, it didn’t take us long to realize that we had found the right people once we had met with Alan. We COULD NOT be more pleased with the outcome! The results are beyond our initial expectations! One of the most important things to me during the process was the fact if Alan (or his vendors) said that they would do something, it was done! The process was a pleasure and there is no doubt I would do it again with VAH!

Van Alan Homes has built three (3) homes for me over the past 5 or 6 years. Needless to say, there's a reason I have continued choosing Van Alan Homes as my builder. My wife and I are extremely pleased with Van Alan Homes. Their personal touch with us from design, through the entire construction of our 3,100 square foot home and 1,800 square foot workshop was excellent.. Alan, Jalyn and their entire team are absolutely the best customer focused company we ever worked with. Note, we previously built three other homes. Van Alan Homes team's attention to detail from helping us to finalize our floor plans and helping us to consider things we would not have thought of in our floor plan. Their great guidance from selecting roofing, bricks, all interior and exterior colors, shutters, all appliances, flooring, trim options, door options, shutter options, etc. was just awesome. Van Alan Homes is also a very cost competitive builder. Our on-site building superintendent was just great. He visited our construction site regularly and made sure not only that the subcontractors were doing their jobs in a timely and quality manner but that we were also very happy with the construction progress. If we ever build another home, we will definitely be using Van Alan Homes as our very trusted, high quality and cost competitive builder. NOTE: Van Alan Homes remained on budget throughout our project, which was also very important. We did add a few items into our scope after construction began. We were very much in control of those additions and cost: eg. Power generator, rain gutters, inside plantation shutters and a sprinkler system were the major items we added to our home later on in the construction process. Thank you Alan for helping us in getting these late added scope items completed in a very timely manner. Even with those added scope items we moved within the time frame we had all planned on.
