Almost Perfect Landscaping

Almost Perfect Landscaping may as well be referred to as "Perfect Landscaping" but the "Almost" must have been added by the owner, Frank, because he is just so humble. From my first message to his office, all the way to the final handshake was pure pleasure and ease. I reached out to Almost Perfect Landscaping at the beginning of the summer asking for help with my lawn but got a "sorry we are fully booked". My thoughts? Weird! Who says that??? I then decided to call other companies, none of which seemed like they knew a grass blade from a weed so I decided to try and do the lawn reno myself. ..... Fast forward 3 months = Mid August: Of course my lawn looks like ---- so I try my luck again with Almost Perfect Landscaping and I get the wonderful response "this is a perfect time to reach out to us for what you need done, we'll have someone call you" Shortly after, I get a phone call from an energetic gentleman, Frank. He asked me what I am trying to accomplish, I give him a brief overview and he says he'll stop by within a day. Frank called me back with an understanding of my property and had recommendations ready. I hired Frank + Almost Perfect Landscaping and was extremely impressed and pleased with the outcome. No need to hire a Landscape Architect, this guy has great plant and tree selection recommendations. Work was done while I was at work all in 1 day for an unbelievably fair price. His work is worth every penny. Just look at the pictures, it's all there! If you hire Almost Perfect Landscaping you will not be disappointed

Frank and his team did an AMAZING job transforming our home. The landscaping is magnificent. On time, on budget. Frank is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend.

Just installed new ground work for my entire property. Frank came to give an estimate and within 2 days he accommodated my schedule and ordered all the material needed for the job. I didn't think something like this could be done so quickly and professionally. Now my property looks so much better. Neighbors have even stopped by to comment. Definitely sticking with Almost Perfect/Frank for the long haul! No complaints here!!!

I just recently purchased a home and learned I had also purchased a dead tree, a diseased and dying tree and a variety of other damaged and dying plants. I called Almost Perfect for an estimate and spoke to Frank who explained the process to me. He scheduled me to meet with Martine that same day. Martine walked through the property with me and explained all of my options for removing the dead trees, plants and the weeds. He even gave me some ideas for new flower beds and better arranging some existing bushes. Within 24 hours, I had a very thorough clean up of both my front and back yards! I was surprised that my backyard was much larger than it originally appeared with the overgrowth of weeds and bushes. I was extremely happy with the work that Martine and his team did and the help and advice that Frank provided. I also love my new cherry blossom tree in the front yard :)

After an exhaustive search of a landscape design company--I chose Almost Perfect Landscaping . The decision was well worth it! From the initial meeting with Frank , owner, he listened to my wants of an awesome landscape design and with his team, delivered just that. Frank was always there to listen to my questions and concerns. , Frank ,Landscape Designer listened intently to my desires and after our first meeting at the nursery and I knew Frank and his team would do a spectacular job! Everyone in the company was competent and professional in every phase of the project: Frank and his team were professional, clean, & competent. The final project transformed my home into a place of serenity and peace.....a place I can't wait to come home to everyday!!!! Thank you, Frank & team! I plan to do alot more work with you !

Frank and his Almost Perfect team did a fantastic job completely transforming our front yard. Frank spent hours with us, taking us through all of the options, and letting us be as much a part of the process as we wanted. His expertise was invaluable and turned a potentially overwhelming ordeal into a fun and enjoyable experience. His team did a fantastic and quick job installing everything--it looks great! We were working on a limited budget and Frank was able to work around our constraint. We feel that we got a great value out of this. Frank (business owner of Almost Perfect Landscaping) was very thorough when explaining the process of re-seeding my yard and front lawn. The previous owners had placed a lot of rocks through out the yard, and due to safety reasons, I had two huge trees removed (different company), which left my yard bare (just dirt). I was thinking of having it replaced with sod, but Frank assured me that he can have the same results, for a fraction of what sodding would cost. And yes, the results are not immediate (a couple of weeks, especially since it was a fairly cold spring), but the end result is amazing! The best part, is that he constantly maintained communication with me, and visited the property to make sure everything was going as it should. I was completely at ease. My yard looks so green and lush! I have already referred him to a couple of friends who stated that they have never seen results like this from other landscapers. Highly recommend.

I am originally from NYC and as I told Frank and his team in my initial call "I don't do Lawns." I reached out to several landscapers based on referrals or just by seeing their vehicles pass on the street. Thankfully my daughter spotted Almost Perfect's truck while coming home on the bus one day. Frank and his team over at Almost Perfect have been nothing more than "Perfect" from returning my initial call to coming out and giving some much TLC to my home's lawn. They were able to accommodate my needs right before the July 4th holiday as I was hosting guests and did not want them walking into the jungle that was my lawn. My lawn looked so great that I don;t even remember it looking so good before I purchased the house. The price was very reasonable. You won't go wrong choosing Almost Perfect; I know I didn't.

We hired Almost Perfect in the fall 2014 to do some planting and to provide some design ideas for the front of the house. It was challenging for me and my husband because we wanted something that was low maintenance, within our limited budget and had some curb appeal. Frank, the owner, worked with us on all accounts. He made some suggestions, listed to what we wanted but also took some creative license as an experienced professional...and boy are we so happy that he did! We were very pleased with his work overall; his suggestions, respect for our budget, the plants, the placement of them and the stone path that he suggested and created as a walkway area that leads to the side of the house. However, the icing on the cake is when Spring finally arrived (a little late this year) we were so pleasantly surprised to see all of the beautiful, colorful flowers that he had planted and perfectly placed throughout the landscaping in the front of the house! It makes me smile every time I come home and pull into my driveway.

As far as I’m concerned, Almost Perfect Landscaping lived up to its name. Thanks to Frank and his crew, in no time at all my neighbors are going to lose their unobstructed view of my pool and party deck and the front of my house went from drab to wow. I don’t know the first thing about trees or shrubs and had absolutely no clue what the best ones would be to give me quick privacy and that wouldn’t die in the yard of a person without a trace of a green thumb. Frank is a walking green encyclopedia and was able to give me expert advice and plenty of options to choose from. His crew showed up on time, were very professional and courteous, and even were kind enough to dispose of a giant tree branch that had been lying in my yard since last year. Overall I give them an A+ for a job that turned out better than I hoped for, and there’s no doubt I will call on them again for my next landscaping project.

I am a first time home buyer and was very excited to start my journey of landscaping at my new home. I had a few Landscaping companies come over and give us estimates but either the price was outrageous or wasn’t impressed with their suggestions. We have been working with Frank Porter & Almost Perfect Landscaping for the past NINE years. In addition to our weekly yard and landscaping maintenance, Frank has dealt with my husband and i in creating a landscaping plan, picking the appropriate plant materials, and installation of same. He has helped us learn about and understand our yard in Englewood, NJ. He is always straight forward and honest regarding budgets, and his employees are knowledgeable, helpful and frankly, pleasant to be around. We always feel free to discuss any issues regarding our property and trust his expertise. Each spring he presents us with a yearly maintenance budget that is clear and straight forward. This is also the time period when he stops by and we walk the property and make decisions for the coming year. Again, Frank always submits an honest and easy-to-understand proposal for any additional work to be done. We think NINE years of continual service is a pretty high compliment, and it means a lot to us to know we are dealing with a man and company of integrity. It makes all the difference!
