She had creative ideas and recommended excellent products. She was reliable, timely and professional. She demonstrated great communication skills. She listened to our needs and then worked to creatively address them. We are so pleased with the outcome. I would recommend her without hesitation.

The (five) stars truly aligned when Kathy Mouallum and I thankfully came together and I asked her to please help us with our kitchen remodel. A valve behind our refrigerator had broken, flooding the kitchen and ruining many of our lower cabinets, the drywall, and insulation. We literally did not know where to start. Thank goodness for Kathy! She started by presenting us with top notch contractors for us to interview. Then she sat with us, listening intently to our every priority, wish and desire for the outcome of our remodel. Next she created design drawings that reflected those wishes and desires. Once those drawings were exactly as we liked, we moved forward with the project. Besides Kathy working closely with our builder to assure timely scheduling of subcontractors as well as delivery of products and materials, she held our hands through the decision making process in every area imaginable. The whole process worked like a well oiled machine despite the fact that the project expanded into the family room and bar area as well. There was never a down day. The result is absolutely outstanding! We couldn’t be happier and we couldn’t have done it without Kathy! To say we recommend Kathy for your next remodeling project is an understatement! She is amazing, and you’d be fortunate to have her!

She helped us pick out everything for the remodel of our home, living areas and kitchen. Her expertise in design and color were evident as she guided us through all the many decisions which were needed for this project. She took the time to drive us to many places to view products, from tile to appliances. She made time to answer our many questions and guided us through the decisions. What a pleasure it was to work with Kathy (& her husband Mitch) on their own home. Kathy came to us with a definite vision for her backyard and even though she works in the design trade, was open to our recommendations to help us turn her vision into reality. The collaborative effort between Kathy & us produced a project we are both proud of. Kathy was instrumental in helping us redesign our kitchen and bathrooms. She is very meticulous with her work, with very detailed drawings that have immensely helped us in working with contractors. We had very specific requirements and she was very courteous and patient with us during all our numerous meetings to hash out the details of the design. Our project started out as a simple redoing of the cabinets and countertops in the kitchen, but morphed into a complete redesign with a more open kitchen and lot of cabinet space. She strived to strike a good balance between the contemporary look we wanted while ensuring it was still very functional. We hired Kathy immediately after meeting her because we could see how talented and hard working she was right from the start. We asked her to redesign our great room and put top priority on the very challenging windows that are all different in our home. She immediately came up with a very creative and beautiful solution for our windows that blends and flows beautifully throughout our open floor plan. Our home is somewhat contemporary which is different for us and to make her challenge even tougher I have a lot of Asian pieces that I asked her to blend with the new. She was instrumental in managing the install of hardwood floors, purchasing furniture, rugs and many other items. She is great at listening to our ideas and transforming them into her creative beautiful design, all while staying on budget. We are excited to continue working with her talent and creativity for more of our home projects.

After meeting with a few designers, we hired Kathy to remodel our master and guest bathrooms. We not only liked her work that we previously viewed, but were impressed by how she explained what the project would consist of. We knew right away, by her easygoing manor, that we would get along. After our two beautiful (and truly original) bathrooms were completed Kathy transformed an average guest room into a truly inviting space. We are now working with her to update our living room. Can't wait to see her insightful results!

Provided design and supervision services for a kitchen, living room and bathroom renovation with utmost professionalism, the availability of great resources, the ability to work within a budget, and timely completion.

Kathy was prompt for every meeting and her estimate was very timely and within my budget expectations. It was a kitchen redo, dining room and living room. Unfortunately we had water damage at our vacation house and the clean up there took care of the funds I was going to use to redo our primary home and then some. Seldom does a day go by where I don't reqret I was not able to proceed with the remodel. I was going to replace counter tops, up-grade cabinet fronts, redo the pantry space, remove popcorn ceilings, and wall paper, then paint all rooms, and create a back splash of interest in a tile pattern to further highlight the new counters. Although she had lined up the contractors, and spent considerable time on the project, she was very professional and understanding when the project had to be scrapped. When the time does comes to continue my remodel, I will definitely consult with her again, hopefully in the not too distant future.
