Choosing Atlanta Discount Blinds to have living room area shutters made and installed was an excellent choice. Not only did the shutters turn out to be a lovely addition for the room, the representative from the company, Dave, was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and patient helping me decide on the best choice of window treatment. The price for the shutters was reasonable (superb quality) as well as the time frame for receiving them. In fact they were completed in a shorter time frame than expected (and in excellent condition). Not only would I hesitate to use Atlanta Discount Blinds in the future but would highly recommend this company and Dave to others. It was a pleasure working with the company…definitely 5+ out of 5 stars!

I wasn’t really sure what to choose to put in my new home, blinds, shutters, or shades. Dave’s knowledge and expertise helped to make it an easy process. He brought numerous samples to look through and answered all of my questions. He was friendly, prompt and followed up on everything throughout the process. Atlanta Discount Blinds was recommended to us by a friend that is a local realtor. We were sharing our frustration at the insane prices quoted for of some of the local blind companies for name brand blinds. They wouldn't even come to measure unless we paid a big deposit in advance. Upon contacting Dave, we quickly scheduled an appointment with him and he arrived on time (this is HUGE for me) and Dave came prepared with product samples and measured all our windows and provided exact quotes. We were able to make all the selections in the comfort of our new home, with firm pricing provided from Dave. Upon placing our order, the delivery date and installation date were also set. Our order arrived and the installation was completed on time and as discussed with Dave. The window treatments are beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Dave has been excellent at follow up and making sure that we are completely satisfied. The final cost was significantly less than quotes we had obtained in Buckhead and we are going to order more window treatments from Dave. Dave and his team did a great job from start to finish. The blinds were ordered and delivered as promised, just ih time for our move in. Dave provided incredibly prompt service and was a true pleasure to work. His quote was very reasonable and the shutters are fantastic! Intallation was a breeze (less than 2 hours to install an entire houseful of shutters!) and the installers led by Bruce were very profesional. The shutters were actually ready for installation sooner than I expected! Dave has built a great team and I highly recommend their product and service

If you want frustration, lack of communication, terrible installation, and zero accountability from ownership look no further because you've found your spot! In my life, I've never had a more frustrating, terrible customer experience worse than what I've endured with Atlanta Discount Blinds. I've never, ever, in my life written a review like this but I've also never, ever been treated so terribly as a customer. I've expressed my frustration with the service and installation for 7 months and haven't so much as received a call back from the owner. If you choose to do business with Dave & his company, lower your expectations and then lower them even further...then maybe you won't come away disappointed. It's the LAST time I'll choose a contractor based on the price. You get what you pay for and all I've gotten from Dave are empty promises and terrible work. I was moving from Newnan to Decatur and had driven to my house in Decatur to meet with Dave to measure my windows. After arriving at my house, I received this text, "I'm not going to be able to make it up. Can you reschedule? I've got way too much stuff to do for Christmas. I haven't even started my shopping for my family. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but is there any way I can reschedule?" I was not able to reschedule and he did end up coming, although he was late. I was counting on having temporary shades put up before moving into a house with no window coverings since the website advertises this is provided at no charge. When I asked about this, he said he didn't have any with him and asked if I could wait around while he went to Home Depot. I did not have time to wait and he said he would pick some up and drop them off sometime that week. Instead of dropping off the shades as promised, I received a message on my moving day stating that I would have to pick up the shades myself and he would give me a credit. In addition to the inconvenience, the credit he initially wanted to give me was less than the actual cost of the shades. When my blinds and accordion shade finally came in and were scheduled for installation, one of them was the incorrect size and I had to wait a couple more months for that to come in and be installed. I am satisfied with all the blinds, but the shade gets caught every time I close it and it's uneven at the top. I was told that it would even out after opening/closing it about 10 times. I hasn't. He did say he would come back out if it didn't even out, but at this point, it's just more trouble than it's worth. Overall, the blinds are satisfactory, but it was a very inconvenient experience with little regard for customer service.

Buying a new house is stressful, and having to cover 20 windows is even more stressful. Dave worked with me to find an affordable solution and the results are beautiful! I highly recommend this company!
