Bo has a clear sense of order, balance, and a purity of design sensibility that sets him apart from many of the designers and architects we have worked with over the years. His ability to balance proportion and scale, while paying attention to the small details results in projects that are at once elegant and sophisticated, yet still achieving the function they are intended to. As a colleague, Baltis Architects are great to work with. Bo demands no less than the best from everyone he works with, but he is eager to seek out the input of those he is working with in order to find the best possible solution to any particular challenge and fulfill his vision for the project. By approaching projects in this collaborative manner, he brings out the best in those he is working with; to the benefit of his clients.

Bo was very respectful of my needs as his client. We had a great working relationship. He offered a sophisticated viewpoint about the best possible design alternatives to renovate this house, including its landscape; details that I could not have visualized without his input. The process was a thoughtful evolution of design ideas and practical solutions. Bo is very knowledgeable about residential design, building materials, colors and techniques plus being very generous in taking time to offer different options. He also has great taste! Working with Bo was a unique experience and I would definitely hire him again for his expertise.

Their design expertise around mid-century modern aesthetics and responsiveness to our ideas, preferences, and critiques were truly remarkable. As a full-service architectural firm, they provided guidance and expertise from the planning stages through the construction phase. They were integral in helping us both design and purchase furniture as well. Both Bo and Joanne were very easy to work with and we had open and effective communication throughout our entire project. Our home was truly that once in a lifetime dream house and it would not have been possible without their tireless efforts and thoughtful approach to every aspect of the design and building process.
