To whom it may concern: I was an advocate for Banko Garage Doors, but I have recently found that the service has become very bad! I called and asked to have the bottom ¼ panel replaced and they said they would have someone out later that day, so I worked from home and never saw anyone. The next day, I saw the attached door hanger on my door with no call prior or information on it. So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, called them back and we set another appointment for today from 8a.m. to 10a.m. and what do you think happened? Yes, you are right: no one again, so I called and let them know not to bother sending someone ever again. Just so you know, we have many garage door companies in the area! Thank you, Peter Harris

I used Banko Overhead Doors to install my garage door. They are very knowledgeable and professional. They showed up on time. They completed the job as promised and within the desired timeframe. I chose a door which looks like wood grain and is rated to the Miami Dade hurricane code. Several years after the installation, I called them back to my house because Citizens Insurance inspector said the doors did not meet the hurricane code. Banko provided the necessary documentation for the Citizens Insurance inspector and I received my Citizens hurricane discount. I highly recommend Banko.

We purchased a Model 51000 16x7 white #1686 Stratford steel garage door with windows. and 1 8550 3/4hp LiftMaster Garage Door opener Internet Gateway with 2 remotes/keypad/wallstation. We called for and estimate and Gary came right out and gave us the estimate. We got one other estimate and decided to go with Banko. They have a good reputation and prices were competitive. We were given an installation date and the young man arrived on the day to install the door and opener, etc. He was so polite and put on his headphones and it was amazing to see him work. He put the door together was very neat and threw all the wrapping materials in his truck. He took about 3 hours and then called me out to show me how to use the keypad, remote controls, etc. He also showed us how to open the door using the manual operation, in case we lost electricity at any time. Cannot say enough of how happy we were with our purchase and customer service. Due to our driveway being uneven, we did call Banko out a few times to solve the problem of a slight gap at the bottom of the door. They ordered a wider rubber gasket for the bottom of the door and that solved the problem. Very happy with their service.
